Rubber Redneck Quick Shots:

• Cut a piece of 8 1/2" x 11" Bermuda Bay card stock into 4 pieces. With this style of invite you can get 4 per sheet of card stock.
  
• Ink the stamp from Confetti Celebration Stamp Set in Bermuda Bay and stamp onto the Bermuda Bay card stock.
• Print out your info onto a piece of Whisper White card stock.
• Ink the stamps from Confetti Celebration Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and Bermuda Bay Ink and stamp onto the Whisper White card stock.
• I stamped the stars in Bermuda Bay Ink onto Whisper White card stock and punched them out using the Medium Star Punch. Then popped them up with Stampin' Dimensionals.
• To finish I added some Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

One of my favorite Designer Series Paper this year is the By the Shore Designer Series Paper item #141640. I am not a subtles type girl but this paper is so yummy and such fun patterns too! I love that it coordinates with the Seaside Shore Stamp Set.

• Zip the Dapper Denim card stock through the Big Shot with the Seaside Embossing Folder. Love the texture to this folder!
• The By the Shore Designer Series Paper adds a beautiful accent to this card.
• I stamped the greeting from Seaside Shore Stamp Set in Mint Macaron onto Very Vanilla card stock.
• Zip the stamped Very Vanilla and Calypso Coral card stock through the Big Shot with the Layering Squares Framelits.
• I added Very Vanilla Thick Baker's Twine, Dapper Denim banner and a Rhinestone Basic Jewel to finish off this card.

Inside is clean and simple. I added a piece of Very Vanilla card stock and in the bottom right corner I stamped a fish in Dapper Denim.

Biggest Birthday Ever Card

Today's share is really cute birthday card using the Bundle Biggest Birthday Ever + Wish Big Framelits (pg. 21) from the Main Stampin' Up! Catalog. This was one of the projects from my Rubber Redneck Creative Sparks HERE. This set is a lot of fun to work with!

Rubber Redneck Quick Shots:

• Cut the Bermuda Bay card base at 4 1/4" x 8 1/2". Once scored it will be 4 1/4". I just love this size!
• Cut a piece of Crushed Curry card stock, Cucumber Crush, and Bermuda Bay. Stamp the images from Biggest Birthday Ever Stamp Set in coordinating ink on each piece of card stock.
• Stamp the "happy birthday" from Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto the Cucumber Crush card stock.
• Add a piece of Brights Designer Series Paper (Melon Mambo) and some 1/8 Bermuda Bay Stitched Ribbon.
• Die cut out a piece of Whisper White card stock using the Big Shot and Layering Circle Framelits.
• Stamp the candles from Biggest Birthday Ever Stamp Set in Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, Cucumber Crush and Crushed Curry. Zip each candle through the Big Shot with the Wish Big Framelits die cutting out those adorable candles.
• Finish with some Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

On the inside I continued the party :) I cut some Crushed Curry and Whisper White card stock. At the top I stamped the image from Biggest Birthday Ever in Melon Mambo across the top of the Whisper White card stock.

Update, Stampin' Up! Promotions + Card Share

Morning Peeps!

Sorry I have been missing in action the last 3 weeks have been not fun here and has been a real struggle. Since my last post a lot has happened around here! We did finish painting and got the floor in my mom's craft room and then  over the weekend of Sept. 17-18 while doing all of this I ended up getting very sick with a second infection and bronchitis. I learned that secondary infections are a VERY bad thing to have. lol I had a 100-103 fever for 6 days and pretty much just slept. Hubby came down with my cold and our dog also got pretty sick too. Everything came to a screeching halt at my parents house and here. I am better than I was but still haven't gotten completely over this crud so taking it one day at a time. This past week has been quite the week we've had 5 deaths and 2 of them were family members :( So that's whats been happening around here.

Thanks for the emails and texts! I feel so blessed to have so many wonderful people in my life! I will be responding to all of you over the next 3 days getting caught up :) I'll also be posting twice a day on my blog too; to get caught up and wrap up my commitments for September :) Thanks for your patience, understanding and support!

Rubber Redneck Quick Shots:

• Cut a piece of Soft Sky and Mint Macaron card stock. Ink the images from Seaside Shore Stamp Set in the coordinating colors to give it a tone on tone look when you stamp onto the card stock pieces.
• Stamp the greeting in Calypso Coral ink onto Very Vanilla card stock. Zip it and a piece of Dapper Denim card stock through the Big Shot with the Scallop Circle Framelits die cutting them out.
• Ink the fishes in Dapper Denim onto Very Vanilla card stock. Cut them out and attach to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
• Finish by adding Rhinestone Basic Jewels. So much cuteness with this card!

On the inside I kept it simple. I inked the bubbles in Soft Sky and stamped off before stamping onto the Very Vanilla card stock. Then I stamped one starfish in Calypso Coral.

This set is perfect for documenting your strawberry picking! I know strawberry season has come and gone but you can get a jump start for next year! I love to go strawberry picking it's so much fun and brings back memories of strawberry picking with my grandpa.

Rubber Redneck Quick Shots:

• My base is 6 x 6 Cucumber Crush card stock.

Tip: I find the 6 x 6 size is perfect for highlighting a small event. Especially if you don't have a lot of pictures.

• I took the stamp from Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set; inked it in Watermelon Wonder and stamped onto the Watermelon Wonder card stock.
• At the top I added a piece of Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper with the strawberry pattern on it. Perfect for strawberry picking!
• On the bottom is a piece of Whisper White Thick Baker's Twine.
• I inked the stamps from Fresh Fruit Stamp Set in Watermelon Wonder and Cucumber Crush. I stamped my strawberries onto Whisper White card stock then cut them out and attached them to the page with Stampin' Dimensionals.
• On the bottom right corner I stamped the saying from Fresh Fruit Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

Rubber Redneck Quick Shots:

• Zip the Elegant Eggplant card stock through the Big Shot with the Petal Burst Embossing Folder.
• Add a piece of Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper.
• Ink the little flower from Fresh Fruit Stamp Set in Sweet Sugarplum and stamp onto the Whisper White card stock.
• Add part of a Delicate White Doily, 5/8 Burlap Ribbon, Old Olive and Elegant Eggplant card stock.
• Ink the Love You More in Old Olive and stamp onto a piece of Whisper White card stock.
• Zip the stamped Whisper White and Daffodil Delight card stock through the Big Shot with the Layering Squares Framelits. Attach them to the front of the card.
• Ink the flowers in Sweet Sugarplum and stamp onto Whisper White card stock. Ink the outline image in Elegant Eggplant and stamp on top of the Sweet Sugarplum images. Stamp the flower center in Daffodil Delight.
• Stamp the leaves in Old Olive. Cut out the leaves and flowers attach them together and add little pieces of 5/8 Burlap Ribbon. Place onto the front of the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

On the inside I kept it simple. I added a piece of Elegant Eggplant card stock. I stamped the little flower again in Sweet Sugarplum onto the Whisper White card stock. I added a piece of Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper.

The Pop of Paradise Stamp Set is a great set for card making but it is AWESOME for scrapbooking!!! It's perfect for documenting all your tropical trips, zoo visits and etc. In 2013 my mom and I visited Las Vegas before heading to the Stampin' Up! Convention. There is so much to do in Las Vegas that you can never visit it all in one trip; it's really amazing all the stuff to do and see. One of my favorite places to go is the Flamingo Lagoon. I never tire looking at these birds in person.

Rubber Redneck Quick Shots:

• Ink the pineapple from Pop of Paradise Stamp Set in Melon Mambo. Stamp onto the Whisper White page base in the top left corner.
• Cut a piece of Always Artichoke card stock and stamp the leaves in Always Artichoke creating a tone on tone look.
• Add some different patterns of Pop of Pink Specialty Designer Series Paper and Gold Foil Sheet.
• Place you pictures onto the base page.
• Wrap some Melon Mambo Thick Baker's Twine and Basic Black Baker's Twine around the layers.
• To create my journal area I just cut another piece of Whisper White card stock and wrote the details on it. It's important to add the date to your pages too the Project Life Journal Pen works great for writing you story and notes on you layouts!!

Handmade Embellishments:

• I stamped the large leaf from Pop of Paradise Stamp Set in VersaMark onto Whisper White card stock. Poured Gold Embossing Powder over the image. Tapped off the excess and heat set with the Heat Tool. I cut out the leaves by hand.
• The other leaf was stamped in Always Artichoke and stamp onto Whisper White card stock then cut out by hand.
• Ink the flamingo in Melon Mambo and stamp onto Whisper White card stock. Cut out the flamingo's.
• Layer together with a bit of Gold Metallic Thread behind and you've created custom handmade embellishments!
• Ink the "words" in VersaMark and pour Gold Embossing Powder over the images. Tap off excess powder and heat set with the Heat Tool. Zip the Whisper White and Basic Black card stock through the Big Shot with the Tags & Labels Framelits die cutting out the card stock and creating a tag.
• Finish off the page by adding some Metallic Enamel Shapes and Regal Enamel Shapes.

Happy Labor Day!! Confetti Celebration Card

Happy Labor Day Peeps!! Jamie and I have spent this weekend Laboring :) at my parents place and man have we been busy!! My parents house has had a lot of damage done to it this summer from all the storms we've gotten. We had a lot we are trying to get done too and what an adventure this has been! We were supposed to install new carpet too. WERE being the big word there. lol

Thursday we spent the day replacing the sky light. That was not a fun project had a lot of problems. I hope to never have to install another one! lol We thought it would be done in 4 hours at the most. Yeah right!! lol We spent a good chunk of Friday finishing that nightmare project. Then we shingled the back entry, that was interesting as we ran out of shingles and had to do some in the dark with a flashlight since we were behind in schedule. ROFL But we found out you can do it and still have it look good. lol

Saturday we started on the inside of the house. The front door leaked bad with our first big nasty storm this summer. Wrecked the sheet rock and carpet. However when we took the sheet rock off we found a very nasty surprise mold had started growing on the other wall in another room. Yikes so we had to clean out the corner in that room which happens to be my mom's craft room.

When we moved out the cabinet we found a VERY bad surprise the carpet in the corner was soaked, the cabinet had mold growing up the back and two walls were damaged. I CRUMBA!! Not good peeps!! So now we have more work to do; we have to tape that room, paint, build mom a new cabinet hers is ruined and figure out what were going to do with the flooring in there.

We also had to rip out the front door and check everything and figure out where it was leaking. That is the only project so far that went well and on schedule. lol

At 8:30 pm Saturday night we got the front door back in and it works better than before!! Success!! We were supposed to install the carpet yesterday but the carpet has been a NIGHTMARE. It was ordered 2 months ago from Menhards and it took 2 months to get it in due to screw ups. When my parents went to pick it up someone had ran the fork through a roll damaging so it had to be all reordered again so the pieces matched the same die lot. Lets see if it takes another 2 months! lol ] What an adventure this has been and it sure hasn't been dull! lol We won't be done with this project this weekend as planned which isn't great because in 3 weeks we have company coming to stay with my parents so my Stampin' Up! newsletter and my promotions will be late this month since I will have to work this into our schedule now. I know some of you have been asking me about it along with classes and right now I am not sure what will be happening we have to get this done asap.

Rubber Redneck Quick Shots:

• Zip the Delightful Dijon card stock through the Big Shot with the Lucky Stars Embossing Folder.
• Add a piece of Brights Designer Series Paper (Real Red).
• Wrap some 3/8 Dapper Denim Ruched Ribbon and 1/8 Gold Ribbon around.
• Ink the "lets celebrate" from the Confetti Celebration Stamp Set in VersaMark then in Delightful Dijon and stamp onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. Pour Clear Embossing Powder over it and Heat Set with the Heat Tool.
• Zip The Whisper White and Basic Gray card stock through the Big Shot with the Layering Circles Framelits die cutting it out.
• Ink the "Yay"from the Confetti Celebration Stamp Set in VersaMark then in Dapper Denim onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. Pour Clear Embossing Powder over it and Heat Set with the Heat Tool. Punch out the image using the Medium Star Punch.
• Add a Metallic Enamel Shape to finish it.

Rubber Redneck Quick Shots:

• Create your box out of Peekaboo Peach card stock.
• Create a lid out of a Window Sheet for the box.
• Pinch the Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper around the Peekaboo Peach card stock and adhere the ends together to create a belly band. Be sure to make it lose so it can slide off and on the box.
• Punch out one end of the Watermelon Wonder card stock with the Banner Triple Punch.
• Zip the Cucumber Crush card stock through the Big Shot with the Layering Circle Framelits to die cut it out. Then zip the circle through the Big Shot with the Sparkle Embossing Folder.
• Stamp your peaches from Fresh Fruit Stamp Set in Peekaboo Peach and Cucumber Crush Ink onto the Whisper White card stock. Use the Stampin’ Pierce Mat to achieve crisp clean images.
• Create your title using the Labeler Alphabet Stamp Set; ink it in Tuxedo Black and stamp onto the peaches.

• Ink the stamp from Seaside Shore Stamp Set in Mint Macaron and stamp onto the Mint Macaron card stock.
  
• Add two different patterns of the By the Shore Designer Series Paper to the card.
• Wrap some Very Vanilla Thick Baker's Twine around the layers.
• Ink the stamps from Seaside Shore Stamp Set in Mint Macaron, Calypso Coral, and Soft Sky. Stamp onto Very Vanilla card stock.
• Finish the card by adding some Pearl Basic Jewels.

I kept it simple on the inside. I add a piece of Very Vanilla card stock that I stamped the shell in the bottom right corner.
