This year we made a lot of Christmas gifts for a handmade holiday theme. All of our sister in-laws received a basket of gifts from us and one of the gifts they received is a sign block we created just for them. I of course had to put the block in a package and decorate it. lol I combined the Swirly Frames Stamp Set item #150503 with the Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set item #151143 from the Holiday Catalog to create the tag.

Here is a close up. I used the Swirly Frames Stamp Set to create a background image behind all the trees and deer. It was the perfect little touch for the background.

I then decorated a little kraft box I picked up at Hobby Lobby. I love how these turned out!

A lot of our gifts this year are handmade and one fun idea that is great for neighbors, co-workers, customers and etc. is to decorate hot chocolate packets! The hot chocolate packets are flavored these are so fun to give and very well received. I kept them easy as we had to make 50 of these.

Rubber Redneck Quick Shots:

  • Cut 1 piece of Shaded Spruce card stock 1 1/2 x 8 1/2. Ink the stamp from Cup of Christmas Stamp Set in Shaded Spruce Ink and stamp onto the card stock until you have the desired effect you would like. Wrap around the packet and glue the ends together. If you want the wrapper to show more then just adjust how wide you would like it cut.
  • Ink the cups from Cup of Christmas Stamp Set in Granny Apple Green and Shaded Spruce Ink. Stamp the cups onto Whisper White card stock. Zip them through you die cut machine with the Cup of Cheer Dies. You'll notice the handles are on opposite sides this is the reversible stamps. AWESOME!!
  • Ink the greeting from Cup of Cheer Stamp Set in Poppy Parade Ink and stamp onto some Whisper White card stock. Zip the stamped image through your die cut machine with the Stitched Shape Dies to cut it out.
  • Using the dies from Cup of Cheer Dies; die cut a candy cane out in Poppy Parade card stock. Then die cut out the leaves in Granny Apple Green card stock.

Create galaxies of projects that dazzle like the cosmos. Create various custom die-cut stars with faux stitching and more in record time using the Stitched Stars Dies.

RRSoManyStarsGiftBox

This is a fun gift box I decorated for a Christmas Gift. This summer I was seeing decorated boxes all over pinterest so I decided I wanted to do some for Christmas gifts this year. I picked up the gift box from the dollar store.

Rubber Redneck Quick Tips:

  • Trace the outline of the box onto some Petal Pink card stock and then cut out the card stock. I inked the stamp from So Many Stars Stamp Set in Petal Pink ink and stamped onto the card stock. I then adhered all the pieces to the box.
  • Cut 1 piece of Woven Threads Designer Series Paper. Ink the stamp from So Many Stars Stamp Set in Sahara Sand ink and stamp onto the dsp over and over until you have the desired effect. Adhere to the Petal Pink card stock.
  • Cut 1 piece of Copper Foil Sheet. Adhere to the Woven Threads Designer Series Paper.
  • Add a piece of Woven Threads Trim across the front. Wrap some Mint Macaron 1/4 Textile Ribbon around the box.

RRSoManyStarsGiftBox1

  • Die cut out stars in Mint Macaron, Petal Pink, Copper Foil and Vellum card stock using the Stitched Stars Dies. I decorated each star by stamping on them.
  • Ink the stamp from So Many Stars Stamp Set in Mint Macaron ink and stamp onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. Cut out Christmas Wishes to create a banner and adhere across the stars. Finish by adding some Brightly Gleaming Foil Elements and  Star Designer Elements.
