Today's project use two new products of the upcoming 2019-2020 Stampin' Up! Catalog! If you don't want to see any of the new goodies yet then stop the bus right there and don't go down any farther, however you really want to see the new stuff! If you would like the new Stampin' Up Catalog find out how to get your copy from me HERE.
My project used the new In Color Terracotta Tile. I am in love with the new In Colors they are right up my alley and you are going to LOVE them too! I attended Onstage in Minneapolis in April and was so lucky to see some of the new product and it is FABULOUS! You will be able to order from the new Stampin' Up! Catalog on June 4, 2019.
Today's project is a gift I made for our mom's and aunt for Mother's Day. I love making 3 x 3 cards they are just perfect to go with any gift. I used the soon to be retired Banners for You Photopolymer Stamp Set item #141710 and the Itty Bitty Greetings Stamp Set available in Wood Mount (W) item #14664 or Clear Mount (C) item #146667 to create my 3 x 3 card.
Make your message stand out by putting it on a banner. This set has greetings to cover most occasions, big and small. This is a Two-Step Stampin’ set. Combine individual stamps to build the final image you want in the colors you want. This Stamp Set is retiring so be sure to get it before it is gone! Check out the Last Chance Here.
I cut a piece of Whisper White Thick card stock 3" x 6" and scored it at 3" with the Simply Scored Scoring Tool. Using the images from the Banners for You Stamp Set I stamped the flowers in the following colors; Tranquil Tide, Pineapple Punch, Soft Seafoam and Terracotta Tile. I then took the "happy mother's day" from Itty Bitty Greetings Stamp Set; inked in Tuxedo Black and stamped onto the 3 x 3 card. To finish I wrapped some Linen Thread around the card.
This is one of my main go to stamp sets that I own. It has greeting for any occasion and simply is a must have!
On the inside I kept it simple. Stamped a leaf image in Trangquil Tide and the flower in Terracotta Tile. I used the the images from the Banners for You Stamp Set.
The next part of the gift I created was some Terracotta Pots so fitting to go with the new In Color Terracotta Tile. lol I cut out some white vinyl with my e cutter and placed onto the pots. Then place a flower inside and packaged up. I created a cute little tag using the Stitched Nested Label item #149638 another awesome new product in the Stampin' Up! 2019-2020 catalog that you will be able to order June 4, 2019! I created the tags using the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine and zipping the Whisper White Thick card stock through with the Stitched Nested Label; die cutting out a tag. I used the images from Banners for You Stamp Set and inked them in Soft Seafoam, Terracotta Tile and Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I attached the tag with Linen Thread. The little pots were so fun to create! I have made up some more and have them listed in my Etsy Store.
For my mother in-law hubby wanted to make this for his mom so we did. lol I think I have really rubbed off on him, since that is definitely something I would say to my mom. lol This too is available in our Etsy Shop!
This is another gift we created for our family members and is part of the "Year Gift" we made. If you would like to see more info about this awesome project we created and what I've shared so far click on the little tag on the left side of my blog labeled Year of Gifts or visit HERE or visit my pinterest board Rubber Redneck Year Gifts to see them all in one spot.
At the beginning of each month; each family had a box to open on the first of the month besides the random days we picked out of each month. In this month box is a fact sheet we put together about the month it includes the following: the history of the month's name, historical things that happened for the month on select dates, and what the month is know for. (It's pretty cool as I am a huge history buff so I love these sheets we created!) Each month is also know for a lot of things so we just picked a few things that we thought would be fun to learn about. February Box features the following; National Cherry Month, American Heart Month and Canned Food Month.
National Cherry Month was a bit hard to do because it is winter here and no cherries lol so I used some retired cherry paper and wrapped around some cherry tic tacs we found. Then for American Heart Month we picked up cheerios since those are supposed to be good for you and printed out Eat Healthy then die cut out a heart in Whisper White card stock. Canned food month I created a tag using the Banners For You Stamp Set and attached it to the can of corn. I use this set a lot to create tags.
