The Stamp Review Crew: Magical Day
Welcome to another The Stamp Review Crew Hop!! We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who will be bringing you lots of ideas for one particular stamp set twice a month!! The 1st and 3rd Monday of each month, you can hop along from one blog to the next gathering all kinds of inspiration for one Stampin' Up! stamp set. Please note the blog hop doesn't officially start until Monday April 16, 2018 so some of the links may not work.
If you are following the hop in order you just arrived from Jay's BLOG where he showed you all something fabulous and inspiring!!
We are featuring the Magical Day Stamp Set (W) item #145854 or (C) item #145857 from the 2018 Occasions Catalog on page 37! This set is available in Wood Mount or Clear Mount. What could possible make this set any better, why the Magical Mates Framelits Dies. You can purchase these two items together as a bundle and save 10% Magical Day Bundle (W) item #145984 or (C) item #145985. Please note the framelits don't come on magnets this is how I store my dies :)
This set features a fanciful dragon, powerful wizard, fearless knight, dreaming mermaid, bubbly seahorse and my favorite a unique unicorn! Yes, the world is magical, and this stamp set proves it! With all of the nieces and nephews we have plus a husband who loves dragons I knew this set was a must have!
I made this for my special little niece who just turned 2 this month! Her birthday party is coming up soon and I had the privilege of making her party decorations and invites. The theme is rainbows this year. I wanted to use this set to create her birthday card cause it's stinkin cute so I worked the rainbows into the card too to tie to her party.
There is a lot of magical stuff happening with this card! I created a rainbow background, some glitter effects (that do not show in the picture ughh), water-coloring effects + more! I used our Watercolor Pencils, and Sponge Brayer to add all the color to this card.
Be sure to stop back Thursday I will be sharing all the details on this card plus a video on how I created all the techniques and did some special effects that you don't want to miss out on!
Now you'll want to head on over to Mike's BLOG and see what fabulous creation he has made to share with you all!
