Quick Family Update; My Dad
Happy Friday! April has arrived! Wow when did that happen?
Thank you all for the emails, texts and prayers the last few weeks it truly means a lot to me and I am so grateful for the wonderful friendships I have made over the years.
Life continues to be WILD here nothing new; this seems to be the new norm for us. lol What the heck we been up to? I can't even tell ya that's how busy we've been. ROFL So much going on around here it's literally insane. Lot's of running, client work, prepping and creating for the next wave of parties and events, (wait till you see all the AWESOME stuff I've been making too), bachelor and bachelorette party, annual Memorial Basketball Tournament in my cousin's honor, 1st Birthday Party, 40th Birthday Party, working on parents house, and a sudden death in the family. If this wasn't enough to have going on; my Dad had to go in for surgery on March 28. He was supposed to go in this week but it got pushed up to last week. So lots of last min scrambling to get some stuff done.... I am sure my blood pressure is sky high. lol
We spent 9 hours at the hospital; it was a pretty long day and at one point I felt I should clock in and work. lol Dad's surgery took about 3 hours and it went great! They operated on the rota-tor cuff and tied off the bicep tendon that was not healing. He has a 12 weeks recovery so it's official now; calving season is all mine. (Oh joy) lol The cocktail they gave him messed him up pretty good so it was highly entertaining.
Hubby and I have been taken turns being sick, I also had another batch of tests to go through and this week we ended back in the ER with Dad as he got a post op infection. This week REALLY hasn't gone as planned. lol Like I said CRA-CRA-CRAZY. This weekend we head off to the cities for ONSTAGE!! So excited about that and I will have things to share! I also get to see the new Stampin' Up! Catalog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am going to TRY my best to start blogging again here we'll see how it goes. lol There is just a LOT on our plate right now and really not enough time in the day to get it all done.
Thank you again for your continued support and prayers for us.
