Family Updates: Prayers Needed

Hello all,

I've been missing in action again. I have great news and not such great news. Life the last few years sure has been wild and not dull at all. I really feel I should write a book. lol This past week hubby's grandpa had a stroke :( it did effect his right side. The day of his stroke he gained some mobility back in his right leg and arm. It didn't effect his mind sharp as ever. lol His speech is a little slurred. We are so thankful as this could have been way worse!! My own grandma years ago suffered a VERY bad stroke and nearly died from it, so I was expecting it to be very bad since I have already gone through something like this on my side. However the next day he lost what had came back; since then he has gotten some mobility back in his leg. Today he will be accessed to see if he can be transferred to a rehab facility or not. He needs help with the walker and of course he is 85 so they may just transfer him to the nursing home where he will only get physical therapy once a week instead of everyday. For me that is frustrating because after my grandma in my opinion hubby's grandpa has a real chance to recovering enough from this to eventually go home. Just maddening and so stupid in my opinion I understand he needs more help than other's but seriously come on! Give the man a chance!! (ok off my soap box) Please pray that they take him to the rehab place.

Since I last posted my dad's infection got way worse. Pretty scary. They put in a pic line so everyday he gets a bag of liquid antibiotic that my mom does. He had a check up yesterday and I am happy to say the infection is looking better!! The hole/pocket has gotten a little smaller which is fantastic news it means it's healing. So hopefully it continues on that path but it will be a awhile before it's completely healed.

Monday and Tuesday we got a nasty ice/snow storm. I can't tell you how fun that was. lol The week before in the high 50's grass was getting green and then this. lol

We've had lots of babies starting to be born. Our first one came on Easter and Dad even got one born on his birthday. lol Yesterday 3 were born. Yay!! I am fine if they want to do that! lol Means the sooner calving is over! lol It was hard to get a picture since it was starting to warm up and be nice yesterday they were running all over and playing.

I know I have not been able to keep up and I just want to say a huge thank you to all of you for understanding and still selecting me as your demo. I am so exhausted by the end of the day that my body just can't keep going. I can't even begin to tell you all how much I appreciate your support!
