Suite Sentiments Card
Happy Tuesday Peeps!
I am back up and running! When I posted on the 28th I thought the Typepad issue was figured out...it was apparently NOT. Short version Typepad was basically out in MN only something about security issue with one of their providers. I for one am very glad the problem is fixed!
It continues to be wild here for us. Boy oh Boy what a wild ride this year has been so far! Wedding invites done and out the door, 1st birthday party, bridal shower party stuff done! Another batch of successful parties were pulled off (some how). Kitchen cabinets for my parents ordered! Of course while this is all going on my cousin decided it was time to work on my parent's bathroom.... What a mess and nightmare they had more water damage then originally thought so new bathroom and new entry way will be happening. I crumba and if that wasn't enough my dad fell and got hurt very bad he tore a tendon in his shoulder and tore his rotator cuff. Ughh and yes he will be having surgery we don't know when yet but just in time for calving season. haha April I don't plan on sleeping at all. Haha Life is never dull for sure! I sure hope the rest of you have not had crazy stuff going on like us!
Did you know February 21 is National Card Reading Day? SWEET perfect for us card makers a holiday for us :) This card was doing double duty for February. I made this for the Year of Gifts or visit HERE to see all that I have shared so far. I also used it for Sudsol Challenge #156. It uses the stamp set from the Occasions Catalog called Suite Sentiments (W) item #142968 (C) item #142971 and that FABUOLOUSE Carried Away Designer Series Paper item #143608 from the Sale A Bration!
This is a fabulous greeting set! The fonts? Astounding. The statements? Endearing. The stamp set? Breathtaking. It is a must have!
Rubber Redneck Quick Shots:
- Create a base out of Whisper White Thick Card Stock. I use the thicker card stock when it's the base for a card stock since it is heaver.
- Cut a piece of Smoky Slate card stock. Cut the Carried Away Designer Series Paper into little squares using 4 different patterns. Glue to the Smoky Slate card stock. Reminds me of a quilt.
- Ink the stamp from Suite Sentiments Stamp Set in Night of Navy and stamp onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. Zip it through the Big Shot with the Stitched Shapes Framelits. I placed it in the center with Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Randomly place some Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
The inside I kept it simple I added little strips of Carried Away Designer Series Paper across the bottom and right side.
