Today's card is the card I created for The Stamp Review Crew Hop HERE. A lot of you asked how I did the snow covered roses so below I have a tutorial + a Video Tutorial as well!! My card uses the Picture Perfect Photopolymer Stamp Set item #1405206 (pg. 140) from the Stampin'Up! catalog.

Rubber Redneck Quick Shots:

• Ink the stamps from Timeless Textures Stamp Set in Marina Mist and Tempting Turquoise. Before stamping onto the Whisper White card stock, stamp off onto a piece of Grid Paper then stamp onto the Whisper White card stock.
• Add half of a Delicate White Doily to the Whisper White card stock. Glue little strips of Silver Glimmer Paper to the sides of the Whisper White card stock.
• Create some loops out of the Basic Black Metallic Thread.
• Place some Rhinestone Basic Jewels randomly to finish off the card.

Creating those Gorgeous Snow Covered Roses

As easy as that anyone can do it!!

Paisleys & Posies Thanksgiving Card

 It's FINALLY here!! I wait and fast for this holiday all year :) because I know there will be awesome food and APPLE PIE!!! Apple Pie is my favorite and I only get it once a year......not sure why I don't get it on my birthday, every holiday or just randomly through out the year...cough..cough :) My mom make's the best apple pie!  I  am thankful for all of you; your continued support in my business and following my blog. I feel blessed to have made so many wonderful friends I hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Today's card is from the Stamp Review Crew Hop HERE. It uses the the Paisleys & Posies Photopolymer Stamp Set item #142196 (pg. 46) from the Holiday Stampin'Up! catalog. It also has a coordinating Paisley Framelits Dies item #141849.

Purchase those two items together in a Bundle item #143515 and save 10%. I am not a big Paisley fan but I really liked how more modern this stamp set looked and having the coordinating framelits pretty much sold me on this bundle :)

• Ink the stamp from Paisleys & Posies Stamp Set in Delightful Dijon and stamp onto the Delightful Dijon card stock.
• Add two different patterns of Petals & Paisleys Specialty Designer Series Paper.
• Ink the stamp from Paisleys & Posies Stamp Set in Mint Macaron and stamp onto the Mint Macaron card stock.
• I stamped the greeting in Rich Razzleberry onto Very Vanilla card stock.
• Using the Big Shot and the Paisley Framelits I die cut out a piece of Copper Foil Sheet.
• Pearl Basic Jewels, Classy Designer Buttons, Linen Thread and 3/8 Ribbon Trio Pack finish off the card.

Last week I was in technical nightmare you know what...it was sooo frustrating had all kinds of stuff ready to post and the tech gods were literally against me from computer issues to no internet. • Zip the Garden Green card stock through the Big Shot with the Cable Knit Embossing Folder.
• Add a couple different patterns of Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Paper.
• Add some Warmth & Cheer Designer Washi Tape, 5/8 Burlap Ribbon and Baker’s Twine Trio to the card base.
• Ink the stamp from Wrapped in Warmth Stamp Set in Cherry Cobbler Ink and stamp onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. Zip the stamped image through the Big Shot with the Ovals Framelits die cutting it out.

The Stamp Review Crew; Picture Perfect

 

Welcome to another The Stamp Review Crew Hop!! We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who will be bringing you lots of ideas for one particular stamp set twice a month!! The 1st and 3rd Monday of each month, you can hop along from one blog to the next gathering all kinds of inspiration for one Stampin' Up! stamp set. If you are following the hop in order you just arrived from Kelly's BLOG where she showed you all something fabulous! We are featuring the Picture Perfect Photopolymer Stamp Set item #1405206 (pg. 140) from the Stampin'Up! catalog. This set is a lot of fun to create with however I had to laugh that this was the set we had for this weekend. Why, well because on Friday here in MN we got quite the snow storm!! We got about a 1' of snow here. I was on my way home from the Mayo from my check up with my specialist and drove home in it. It's normally a 5 hour drive but it took me 8 hours to get home....fist 2 1/2 hours were great then I hit the storm.....

Literally a Blizzard out!! It was really pretty even if you couldn't see to drive. lol

Snow was so deep the tow trucks were stuck it was hilarious.... well probably not for my mom since she was with me :)

The farther north I drove the worse it got. We actually were stuck on the freeway for 45 min because 3 semi's were jack knifed in the road...the snow in that area was about 18" deep. YIKES at one point I was starting to wonder if we were spending the night in the vehicle (it was the only time I thought WOW this was maybe not a good idea). lol There were lots of vehicles in the ditches, I myself went into the ditch but was able to get out, super slow going and it was one VERY long day. Would I do it again..... (yes mom I would) it was worth sleeping in my bed that night and it's another adventure I had ;)

So as you can see this was pretty funny for me to use this set and at first I struggled because after that I just couldn't come up with something summer at all. lol Then the light bulb went off....

How about snow covered roses? The blizzard and ice from my windshield actually inspired this card. lol So thanks for bearing with my story and anything really can be inspiration!! Not to easy to see in the picture but I stamped white craft ink onto the roses and leaves. This set make gorgeous roses, I used 3 different blues: Pacific Point, Marina Mist and Tempting Turquoise. I also paired it with the Timeless Textures Stamp Set.

Inside I stamped the images from Timeless Textures then added some Silver Glimmer Paper.

I finally finished last years December Daily 2015 album a couple of weeks ago! If you would like to see more of the album just click on the Daily December 2015 Tag on the left side bar. Some of the products I used on these pages you can no longer purchase, but I promised people I would finish showing this album. I am using the Project Life Hello December 2015 Bundle from last years Holiday Catalog and I have paired with some other products of ours.

 

Day 25: Christmas Day has arrived!! Our family was due to our house at noon and what a crazy morning, life is never dull with my family. lol I had lots to do yet; get the food started, finish setting up the tables and then the phone calls started....What a WILD morning and little did I know what would happen. One of the kids woke up sick and because of me and my dad's health that's really not good for us to be around. After many phone calls and texts back and forth I decided lets do it because of everything dh and I went through getting ready for Christmas it was happening no matter what! haha. So Christmas was back on. My parent's T.V. died so as a family we decided to get my dad a new T.V. To get dad out of the house we told him he need to come help me set up and help with the food so while he was here my brother and hubby could install the new T.V. and surprise my dad.....that was the plan. Of course of all the days of the year one of the cows decided to get it's head stuck in the bale feeder. UNREAL my mom told my dad he HAD to go because I needed help. Dad calls and wants me to come help of course I can't leave because I am in the middle of making dinner, hubby wasn't home and my brother is still an hour out from my place. Dad runs to the neighbor to get a tool and he tells mom she has to go without me. Mom is like now what? Lots of phone calls back and forth between my mom, brother and I trying to hatch a plan. BOY nothing goes as planned EVER. The family has started to arrive and we are trying to figure out how to sneak the T.V. into my house without the kids seeing it and spilling the beans because of course it was not wrapped. ROFL By now my brother are really cracking up over it cause really this is the norm for our family... Dad in the mean time went back out and the cow got out on it's own....UNBELIEVABLE. Dad arrived with just enough time for my brother and hubby to set up the T.V. before our meal. Another story for the book that I will write some day about life with the farmer :) After our meal it was time to open gifts!

 

The boys were excited about there Christmas gifts and were happy it was our little guy's first Christmas. I wrote on the card and decorated with the washi tape and sequins that came in last years kit.

 

My cousin and brother checking out the Memory Keepsake Cookbook of my Grandma. My Aunt's Gag gift from the Christmas Elves hehe you can read about that HERE. I stamped onto a piece of Mint Macaron card stock and added a journal card to one side.

 

 

Family tradition of ours is to play games!! Then my Aunt brought of the Gingerbread houses....OH BOY lesson learned. ROFL Hunter's collapsed and he had it EVER WHERE. Hayden blazed his own path creating his. That's my boy! My Aunt wanted the chicken from her gag gift in the picture. lol I decorated another card that came in the kit.

 

 

 

Afterwards it was time for snack time and to figure out what game to play. Was an AWESOME day. Lots of laughs and truly not dull. I have day 26 left to share that I will share in a couple days.

The coordinating Petals and Paisleys Specialty Designer Series Paper item #142017 features rich fallish colors to die for! I love these colors together. I also really like the big greeting in this set too! I mixed up the patterns and also created my own by using the stamps creating this fun and gorgeous fall card. I added some copper accents by using the framelits and the Copper Foil Sheets.

The inside I stamped the paisley image and added a piece of Petals and Paisleys Specialty Designer Series Paper.
