Rubber Redneck Quick Shots:

• Cut a piece of 8 1/2" x 11" Bermuda Bay card stock into 4 pieces. With this style of invite you can get 4 per sheet of card stock.
  
• Ink the stamp from Confetti Celebration Stamp Set in Bermuda Bay and stamp onto the Bermuda Bay card stock.
• Print out your info onto a piece of Whisper White card stock.
• Ink the stamps from Confetti Celebration Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and Bermuda Bay Ink and stamp onto the Whisper White card stock.
• I stamped the stars in Bermuda Bay Ink onto Whisper White card stock and punched them out using the Medium Star Punch. Then popped them up with Stampin' Dimensionals.
• To finish I added some Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Happy Friday Peeps!!!

I am for one VERY glad Friday is here! This week has been one CRAZY BUSY week! lol Today I am sharing my Project Life Daily Journal for 2016 better late than never right? If you want to see all of what I shared so far on this you can click on the categories daily journal on the left side of my blog and it will pull up all the post's I've done so far on this. I shared my cover page below way back in Jan and wanted to touch on it quick here.

This is the cover page for our 2016 Album. We decided to do the Daily Journal again dh thought it was cool to document each day even if it's a work day. hahaha I honestly think I've created a monster I never thought he would be this into it. lol I wanted to focus on one word this year and we decided to pick NEW. So this year's album focus on that. I was inspired by Ali Edwards One Little Word.

Definition of New: not existing before; made, introduced, or discovered recently or now for the first time.

Originally we just were going to do 1 new thing but instead decided to make it into a year of New things. Our NEW will focus on: trying new things, new adventures, new arrivals, new items and etc. Our cover page focused on the NEW Year and our NEW goals as a family. There are so many ways to look at the word New.

Today's layout I am using the retired Memories in the Making Project Life from last year's Occasion's Catalog. Right now this kit is in the Clearance Rack and available to purchase at a major discount. SCORE it's an awesome kit!! It

On the backside of the cover page we each made out our New Goals for this year and documented what we want our album to focus on this year. Hubby of course had to work in his humor too. lol I mainly used the Memories in the Making Project Life Kit. I did use the Metallic Foil Doilies and Rhinestone Basic Jewels to step up my layout a little more. The top left corner card is my favorite thing we came up with and really fits the word NEW.

Who knew the word NEW could have so many meanings!! It's pretty amazing really when you start thinking about it. So far it's been a wild year for us and little did we know what NEW adventures we would be on this year.....to be continued :)

Big News + Jar of Haunts

Happy Thursday peeps!!

It continues to be wild here for us but we are doing great! It's really been insane; work, work, work, wedding, family events and pretty much cutting and hauling firewood nonstop! This is our only source of heat and the clock is ticking here before winter arrives with it's -40 below weather, so hubby and I pretty much have been eating, breathing and sleeping firewood! lol  But I am very happy to say we are half ways finally!!!

Now for my Big News this past weekend my baby brother got engaged to his girlfriend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our family couldn't be more thrilled!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She said YES!! The happy couple :)

WOW right? Happy that my brother found someone to love him as much as we do!

Life has been a whirlwind for sure!

I am still playing catch up here and I know ever time lately I say I will have lots to share then life gets in the way. lol But seriously I am trying to get back into the swing of things. With my disease working like we have been really takes a toll on me and I can't push my body it just won't let me. When my body says nope you need to sleep and rest now it's what has to happen or I end up having a seriously bad attack. It's one of the really frustrating things about this stuff.

You may have seen this card already. I created this for the Stamp Review Crew Jar of Haunts Hop as promised here are the details. My card is using the Jar of Haunts Photopolymer Stamp Set item #142247  and I also paired it with Ghoulish Grunge Stamp Set (W) item #142238 (C) item #142241 from the Holiday Catalog.

This set is a lot of fun and perfect for Halloween. Did you know it coordinates with Everyday Jar Framelits? Sweet another set to go with the framelits!

Rubber Redneck Quick Shots:

• Zip the Basic Black card stock through the Big Shot with the Brick Wall Embossing Folder.
• Ink the stamp from Ghoulish Grunge Stamp Set in Pumpkin Pie Ink and stamp onto the Pumpkin Pie card stock. Stamp little spiders onto the web from Jar of Haunts Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
• Add some Halloween Night Specialty Designer Series Paper and tied some Halloween Night Baker's Twine around the layers.
• In the top right corner I frayed some of the 3/8 Glitter Ribbon and attached in the corner to look like spider web with a Halloween Night Enamel Shape.
• I stamped the jar from Jar of Haunts Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto Whisper White card stock then zipped it through the Big Shot with the Everyday Jar Framelits. Then stamped the greeting in Pumpkin Pie and added a spider. I attached some 3/8 Glitter Ribbon and Basic Black Metallic Thread behind the jar.

I kept it simple on the inside I added some Halloween Night Designer Washi Tape to the Whisper White card stock.

The Stamp Review Crew; Acorny Thank You

Welcome to another The Stamp Review Crew Hop!! We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who will be bringing you lots of ideas for one particular stamp set twice a month!! If you are following the hop in order you just arrived from Heidi's BLOG where she showed you all something fabulous! We are featuring the Acorny Thank You Photopolymer Stamp Set item #139718 (pg. 36) from the main Stampin'Up! catalog. It also has a coordinating punch called Acorn Builder item #139681. This stamp set came out last year and is one of my favorite fall stamp sets so I was delighted that it made it into the main catalog this year! I just LOVE fall! Are you ready for my gorgeous fun card?

See AWESOME SAUCE!! The Acorny Thank You Stamp Set is defiantly one of my top 10 favorite fall items! Tanya our blog hop leader always makes fabulous watercolor backgrounds; I have been really wanting to try it out and FINALLY did!! lol Best part one of my new years resolutions is something new. I used the stamp from You've Got This Stamp Set to create the background image. Is it not cool? I think it is!! I will be doing a video on it soon! I also used one of my favorite embossing folders called Woodland creating perfect backgrounds on this project! Added a few fun new items from the Holiday Catalog that are perfect for fall and stamped those adorable acorns and kaboom gorgeous fall card!!

Inside I kept it simple again added some Very Vanilla card stock and strip of Halloween Night Designer Washi Tape.

• Zip the Dapper Denim card stock through the Big Shot with the Seaside Embossing Folder. Love the texture to this folder!
• The By the Shore Designer Series Paper adds a beautiful accent to this card.
• I stamped the greeting from Seaside Shore Stamp Set in Mint Macaron onto Very Vanilla card stock.
• Zip the stamped Very Vanilla and Calypso Coral card stock through the Big Shot with the Layering Squares Framelits.
• I added Very Vanilla Thick Baker's Twine, Dapper Denim banner and a Rhinestone Basic Jewel to finish off this card.

Inside is clean and simple. I added a piece of Very Vanilla card stock and in the bottom right corner I stamped a fish in Dapper Denim.

Perfect Halloween Color Combo for you all! These are such spooky and fun colors together.

• Ink the ghosts from Spooky Fun Stamp Set in Smoky Slate Ink and stamp onto Smoky Slate card stock. Ink the witch in Basic Gray onto Basic Gray card stock.
• Add two different patterns of Halloween Night Specialty Designer Series Paper.
• Tie some Solid Basic Black Baker's Twine around the layers.
• Die cut out Basic Black, Old Olive and Whisper White card stock using the Big Shot and Layering Squares Framelits.
• Stamp happy halloween and spider from the Spooky Fun Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto the Whisper White square.
• Stamp the pumpkins from Spooky Fun Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto Whisper White card stock. Zip it through the Big Shot with the Halloween Scenes Edgelits die cutting them out. Color the pumpkin's in using the Blender Pen and Pumpkin Pie Ink Pad. Color the spider in using the Blender Pen and Basic Gray Ink Pad.
• Finish by adding a Halloween Night Enamel Dots.

Jar of Haunts Sudsol Pinterest Challenge #138 + Big News

Morning Peeps!

I am finally over this crud whoo hoo!! Boy was that stuff bad I wouldn't wish that on anyone. This past weekend my brother came home to help us at my parents house and we FINALLY made some progress. THANK GOD!!!

We finished up all the trim in her craft room but a nameless hubby put a hole in a wall that we have to fix. Hahaha that's the way this entire project went. We finished and installed my mom's new cabinet, we just need to finish the doors. While routing out for the hardware we broke the bit. Of course. lol It looks awesome though and mom loves it!!

Friday was another 15 hour day for us, we ripped out old carpet and finished up the trim around the windows in the living room and bedroom after many trips to menards for my dad. Of course it's about an 1 hour away one way. Hahaha My dog Gizmo once again wants to be in the middle of everything and annoyed my brother (I might have planned that) :)Then we prepped for Saturday.

Saturday was a 13 hour installing the new carpet that we finally got right but after a huge debate that it was the wrong color. ROFL It was a pretty big project and ummm interesting. We decided when it's time to do the carpet in our house that will be hired out. lol  Looks awesome though!! Parents love it and our happy so that's really all that matters. We still have quite a bit to finish up but now things can be moved back into place and not look like a bomb went off. It's been quite the adventure; lots of; frustration, bruises, cuts, WOWS, SERIOUSLY, laughs, quality time spent together as a family and best of all Mom's cooking. :)

By Sunday Dh and I were tired but both finally felt good enough to start cutting our firewood. Ekkk the clock is ticking here. So we put in another 15 hour day but made very good progress. HOORAY

My Dad's new way for us to cut firewood with his new toy. Hubby loved it no more bending over. lol Pretty busy weekend.

My other big news is I have been selected to be the Pinterest Challenge Coordinator for Sudsol. What is Sudsol? An awesome site for Stampin' Up! Demonstrator to share ideas, updates and etc. If you are a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator I recommend you check it out if you have not. Every week I will post a new challenge for them plus share my creation here with you for inspiration :)

You may have seen this card already. I created this for the Stamp Review Crew Jar of Haunts Hop and since I had not time to stamp this weekend this card is doing double duty! My card is using the Jar of Haunts Photopolymer Stamp Set item #142247 from the Holiday Catalog.

This set is a lot of fun and perfect for Halloween. Did you know it coordinates with Everyday Jar Framelits? Sweet another set to go with the framelits!

Rubber Redneck Quick Shots

• Stamp the eyes from Jar of Haunts Stamp Set in Old Olive ink onto the Old Olive card stock.
• Add some Halloween Night Specialty Designer Series Paper and Halloween Night Designer Washi Tape.
• Stamp the Jar, Eyes and Slime onto Whisper White card stock in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
• Zip the Jar image through the Big Shot with the Everyday Jars Framelits.
• Color in the image using the Old Olive Stampin' Write Marker.

Biggest Birthday Ever Card

Today's share is really cute birthday card using the Bundle Biggest Birthday Ever + Wish Big Framelits (pg. 21) from the Main Stampin' Up! Catalog. This was one of the projects from my Rubber Redneck Creative Sparks HERE. This set is a lot of fun to work with!

Rubber Redneck Quick Shots:

• Cut the Bermuda Bay card base at 4 1/4" x 8 1/2". Once scored it will be 4 1/4". I just love this size!
• Cut a piece of Crushed Curry card stock, Cucumber Crush, and Bermuda Bay. Stamp the images from Biggest Birthday Ever Stamp Set in coordinating ink on each piece of card stock.
• Stamp the "happy birthday" from Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto the Cucumber Crush card stock.
• Add a piece of Brights Designer Series Paper (Melon Mambo) and some 1/8 Bermuda Bay Stitched Ribbon.
• Die cut out a piece of Whisper White card stock using the Big Shot and Layering Circle Framelits.
• Stamp the candles from Biggest Birthday Ever Stamp Set in Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, Cucumber Crush and Crushed Curry. Zip each candle through the Big Shot with the Wish Big Framelits die cutting out those adorable candles.
• Finish with some Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

On the inside I continued the party :) I cut some Crushed Curry and Whisper White card stock. At the top I stamped the image from Biggest Birthday Ever in Melon Mambo across the top of the Whisper White card stock.

How about a jar of slime? Makes me think of the Ghost-busters. lol Perfect for Halloween! I created background paper by just stamping the eyes on the card stock. You can't see it in the picture but I made the slim shinny.

On the inside I kept it simple. I stamped the eyes in the bottom right corner.

Spiders EEEKKKKKK I HATE spiders but they made this card cute :) I made some custom cobweb for fun! Lots of fun things going on with this card.

Another simple and easy inside :) Just added Halloween Night Designer Washi Tape and done.

Update, Stampin' Up! Promotions + Card Share

Morning Peeps!

Sorry I have been missing in action the last 3 weeks have been not fun here and has been a real struggle. Since my last post a lot has happened around here! We did finish painting and got the floor in my mom's craft room and then  over the weekend of Sept. 17-18 while doing all of this I ended up getting very sick with a second infection and bronchitis. I learned that secondary infections are a VERY bad thing to have. lol I had a 100-103 fever for 6 days and pretty much just slept. Hubby came down with my cold and our dog also got pretty sick too. Everything came to a screeching halt at my parents house and here. I am better than I was but still haven't gotten completely over this crud so taking it one day at a time. This past week has been quite the week we've had 5 deaths and 2 of them were family members :( So that's whats been happening around here.

Thanks for the emails and texts! I feel so blessed to have so many wonderful people in my life! I will be responding to all of you over the next 3 days getting caught up :) I'll also be posting twice a day on my blog too; to get caught up and wrap up my commitments for September :) Thanks for your patience, understanding and support!

I just love the greeting in this and think it's perfect to send to anyone it will be sure to put a smile on the recipient's face.

Rubber Redneck Quick Shots:

• Cut a piece of Soft Sky and Mint Macaron card stock. Ink the images from Seaside Shore Stamp Set in the coordinating colors to give it a tone on tone look when you stamp onto the card stock pieces.
• Stamp the greeting in Calypso Coral ink onto Very Vanilla card stock. Zip it and a piece of Dapper Denim card stock through the Big Shot with the Scallop Circle Framelits die cutting them out.
• Ink the fishes in Dapper Denim onto Very Vanilla card stock. Cut them out and attach to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
• Finish by adding Rhinestone Basic Jewels. So much cuteness with this card!

On the inside I kept it simple. I inked the bubbles in Soft Sky and stamped off before stamping onto the Very Vanilla card stock. Then I stamped one starfish in Calypso Coral.
