The Stamp Review Crew Hop; Botanical Blooms

Botanical Blooms Banner

Welcome to another The Stamp Review Crew Hop!! We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who will be bringing you lots of ideas for one particular stamp set twice a month!! The 1st and 3rd Monday of each month, you can hop along from one blog to the next gathering all kinds of inspiration for one Stampin' Up! stamp set. Please note the blog doesn't officially start until Monday August 1, 2016 so some of the links may not work.

If you are following the hop in order you just arrived from Nikki's BLOG where she showed you all something fabulous! We are featuring the Botanical Blooms Photopolymer Stamp Set item #140757 (pg. 142) from the main Stampin'Up! catalog. It also has coordinating framelits to go with it. When I purchased it I wasn't too sure as it's not really my style but I saw soo many awesome things created with it so I took the plunge :) I found out it is a fabulous set with lots of possibilities!!

Botanical Blooms Set

See lots of great things! I kinda got started and couldn't stop the ideas.

First up how about a 1 layer card? I get a lot of requests for 1 layer cards; (which I think I am terrible at because I LOVE layers. lol) It focuses on using the stamp set only. The colors are bright and cheerful! I did pair it with the  Perfectly Wrapped Stamp Set and used the masking technique on it.

Supplies Used
Stamps: Botanical Blooms, Perfectly Wrapped
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Tangerine Tango, Watermelon Wonder
Paper: Whisper White
Acc.: Many Marvelous Markers, Whisper White Thick Baker's Twine, Brights Enamel Shapes

Next up layers baby layers!! :) This card also shows off those fun Botanical Builder Framelits! I wasn't too sure about this card because of the "PINK" lol but I got a wow from hubby so I guess I did good? The colors are so fun and scream summer to me. Even though I personal am not a fan of pink I LOVE that our products coordinate!! Lots of different patterns going on with it too. I paired it with the Crazy About You Stamp Set it needed a greeting on it.

Supplies Used
Stamps: Botanical Blooms, Crazy About You
Ink: Melon Mambo, Always Artichoke
Paper: Whisper White Thick card stock, Delightful Dijon, Always Artichoke, Gold Foil Sheets, Pop of Pink Specialty Designer Series Paper
Acc.: Big Shot, Botanicals Builder Framelits, Softly Falling Embossing Folder, Melon Mambo Thick Baker's Twine, Gold Metallic Thread, Metallic Enamel Shapes, Duet Banner Punch

Last but least a Christmas Card! When I was creating this card and everything was laying on my counter all the sudden it made me think of poinsettias and Christmas :) This set works great for creating pattern paper look in the background! Again I did the masking technique on this too. The greeting is from Oh, What Fun Stamp Set.

Supplies Used
Stamps: Botanical Blooms, Oh, What Fun
Ink: Calypso Coral, Cucumber Crush, Mint Macaron, Delightful Dijon, Crumb Cake, Tangerine Tango
Paper: Delightful Dijon, Crumb Cake, Whisper White, A Little Foxy Designer Series Paper Stack
Acc.: Big Shot, Botanical Builder Framelits, Sparkle Embossing Folder, Project Life Card & Labels Framelits, Linen Thread, Pearl Basic Jewels, White Perfect Accents, Stampin' Sponge

I hope you liked my projects they were a lot of fun to create! This set defiantly gets a thumbs up from me! I will be sharing the details on these projects over the course of the next few weeks. Now you'll want to head on over to Tanya's Blog where I know you will love her project!!
