Welcome to another The Stamp Review Crew Hop!! We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who will be bringing you lots of ideas for one particular stamp set twice a month!! I used this set in a completely different way. April around here is a TON of birthdays and I've been making so much birthday stuff that I am burned out on balloons. lol So I thought hmm light bulb moment... why not use it for a project life layout and I am behind on my project life daily journal. PERFECT!!! I also kinda jumped ahead on sharing so it's a little out of order for dates if you've been following along on my blog. Here is another glimpse into our life! I am documenting March 1, 2015. Hubby and I had to clean a job in the morning then afterwards went to the local Chinese place for lunch. Then home to work some more then later watched the season finale of Downtown Abby (one of my favorite shows) and I am heart broken its done!!!

Rubber Redneck Quick Shots:

• Some of the words in the Balloon Celebration Stamp Set worked perfect for this layout. Top right corner of the card I stamped "let us celebrate" in Pacific Point above moments on the card from (Project Life Moments Like These Card Collection). I also stamped the stars in Crushed Curry onto the card too. I punched out a piece of Brights Designer Series Paper with the Sweetheart Punch. I used the Medium Star Punch to punch out a piece of Neutrals Designer Series Paper.
  
• Bottom left corner card stamped the stars in Sahara Sand onto the card. Punched out a piece of It's My Party Designer Series Paper (Crushed Curry Pattern) with the Medium Star Punch. Used the Sweetheart Punch to punch out a piece of Brights Designer Series Paper (Pacific Point Pattern). I stamped the saying from Balloon Celebrations "come let us sit together and drink" in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I cut off the and drink then punched out each end using the Banner Punch. I punched a staple at the top of the card.
• Center card I added some Silver Metallic Thread, a piece of It's My Party Designer Series Paper and another star. I also stamped the stars from Balloon Celebration in Sahara Sand onto the card. Then stapled our fortunes to the card.
• The last card I stamped "and eat cookies" in Crushed Curry onto Whisper White card stock. Punched one end out with the Banner Punch creating a banner. Added the Silver Metallic Thread, Star (It's My Party Designer Series Paper), and the little heart from Project Life Moments Like These Accessory Pack.
  
• I placed Rhinestone Basic Jewels randomly all over the cards to finish.

My husband is one of those guys that always forgets to buy a gift when the holidays roll around. lol So you can about imagine my surprise and shock when he gave me a necklace last year for valentines day. He was quite proud of himself too. lol Not only did he do that but he spent the day helping me set up my cameo and we played around with it most of the day too!! Not to many guys will do that so I don't mind not getting gifts. lol

Rubber Redneck  Quick Shots:

• I used Project Life Memories in the Making Bundle. I love the cards in this kit perfect for a lot of things!
• Across the top of the first card I inked the stamp from Memories in the Making Stamp Set in Daffodil Delight and created a border of "Happy".
• I stamped Saturday from the Day to Day Project Life Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tempting Turquoise onto the top of one the cards.
• Journaling on the cards was done with the Project Life Journal Pens, Many Marvelous Markers, and 2015-2017 In Color Markers.
• I decorated the cards using It's My Party Designer Washi Tape, Rhinestones, Handheld Stapler and the Memories in the Making Project Life Accessory Pack.

Here is the second half of the layout. We made shrimp K bobs on the grill one of our favorite meals. Then made dh's favorite desert which I dropped on the floor but we got lucky it stayed right side up. hahaha

• I worked in the Memories in the Making Project Life Specialty Cards from Sale-A-Bration. They go with the Memories in the Making Project Life Bundle.
• I decorated the cards using It's My Party Designer Washi Tape, Rhinestones, Handheld Stapler and the Memories in the Making Project Life Accessory Pack.

Updates, New Weekly Deals, New Clearance Rack Items

Morning Peeps!

I am back this week with lots to share after deciding last minute to take some time off from social media and blogging. Hubby and I have been pretty busy around here. Finishing up those blasted taxes, jury duty, wrapping things up with the architect and getting ready for a really big event.

This past weekend was the 15th Annual Basketball Tournament in Memory of my cousin Tonia. Every year my family has this big basketball tournament to raise money for her scholarship fund. My cousin loved basketball and loved helping people. This year my husband and I created a website in her memory and another way for people to donate to her scholarship fund. If you would like to see the website and read about her story you can visit toniasfund.com This year was the 15th Anniversary of when she was killed. Tonia was the youngest of us 5 grand-kids on my mom's side. I was fortunate to be able to grow up with my cousins and see them almost everyday so where more like siblings than cousins. Even though its been 15 years there is a hole there. We had an amazing awesome turnout at the tournament and had a lot of fun! Thank you to everyone who came and supported our family, means so much! Here is a few pictures from the tournament.

All ages can play but we really focus on the little kids, working with them and teaching them how to play basketball.

This picture is my cousins boy, Tonia would have been his Aunt. When he signed up for basketball in his town and he got Tonia's basketball number by per chance, his coach didn't even know. This will be his number all through his school years too. The crazy part it was all of our numbers too when we were kids, we went to different schools and didn't plan it.
