I will be sharing Day 23 and this day was pretty INSANE for us!!! lol So much left to do. Wrap more gifts, make something for the kids, create the gag gift and little did I know the christmas card photo would be arriving that day and be a MAJOR problem. lol Are we gonna be ready in time????

Day 23:Since the stalkings were a bust I needed to figure out something different to make for the kids to hold there stocking suffers and the time limit was a huge factor. lol So I decided to create bags out of the paper wrap I had from Stampin' Up! long time ago. Not as cool as the stocking idea but better than nothing. lol I used up some of my non SU Christmas Scrapbook paper to make tags and decorate the top of the bags. I punched out the paper using the tree punch and made a little special not to each kid on the tag. Then wrapped ribbon around the top and tied some starfuit candy canes to the bags. One of the kids favorites. I got one batch done that need to be mailed out.

I used all the items from Project Life Hello December 2015 Bundle and Oh What Fun Tag Project Kit. I also add one of the Snowflake Elements to it too. The kids loved the bags they thought it was pretty cool I took the time to make them paper bags. Who would have know they would be a hit. lol Plus they were quite happy to get there favorite candy canes. lol

Next up another Family tradition. Every year someone gets a gag gift. My grandmother actually started this. When my grandma asked what I wanted one time when I was a kid I of course replied a red truck like grandpa's (what all young kids want). lol So my grandma of course did get me a red truck.....well a little red toy truck. Only she put it in inside of a box, inside of a box and so on.  Of course my family thought this was quite funny. So this started the tradition. With my family there is always something bound to happen through the year to be an extremely funny moment that someone would like that moment to be forgotten. Of course since they all laughed that day a long time ago I won't let those moments be forgotten or slide by. hehehe Over the years there have been some pretty awesome gag gifts that I am quite proud of. :) So I felt it was important to document this years gag gift :) Only problem now is the bar is getting kinda high. So now a LOT of thought goes into this. The entire family worries about it all year what I am gonna do. hehehe

This years prank: My aunt had thanksgiving dinner the year before and while putting the turkey on the platter it slid off into the sink which wouldn't have been no big deal.......except it was full of dish water. My cousin and her where trying to rinse it off when I happen to come walking around the corner into the kitchen. I heard them at first whispering to hurry up before someone walked in and I heard my aunt say to my cousin don't say anything to anyone and nobody will ever know. Of course they didn't know I was standing right behind them at the time :) Just as I was about to announce my presence they almost dropped it onto the floor because it was covered in dish soap. I busted out laughing and of course made them jump and they almost dropped it again. Right away my aunt was oh great now your gonna prank me....so I had to let that sit for a year before doing anything. Hahaha So this year we made up a special recipe for a nice and juicy turkey, created a slip and slide, added a bottle of dish soap, and found a rubber chicken on-line to include in the kit along with a letter we created for her too. :) So documenting that!! We elves had a lot of fun and yes the elves are brats! :)

This got a hole page in the album too! I took the stamp from Project Life Hello December 2015 Bundle in Lost Lagoon and stamped it onto some Very Vanilla card stock. I also added some of the Season of Cheer Designer Series Paper. I used Oh What Fun Tag Project Kit and added a Snowflake Element onto the page too.

Later in the day our missing Christmas photo card finally showed up. I figured they were lost for good and we were gonna be sending out new year cards instead. lol However when they arrived hubby had made a mistake when sizing them instead of getting a 4" x 5 1/4" photo we got  something a hole lot smaller. lol Why not?? Not like anything was going as planned leading up to Christmas. So that night what where hubby and I doing till midnight?? Fixing the problem of course (roll my eyes). ROFL I had a lot of card stock to use up from other various company's which was my goal last year to use stuff up.The card stock happen to be the perfect color too. So we cut the card stock down to 4" x 5 1/4" and taped the picture to it. I thought they looked plain so we added washi tape  across the bottom; (which looked like a wood grain) I had in my stash of stuff to use. This is what we got.

Not to bad for flying by the seat of our pants. I think it's the best screw up in history! lol We got them all done that night and ready to be mailed out the next day. lol The elves had it in for us this year but we beat them at there game :)

Of course really the humor of this situation needed to be documented we thought. My husband said in the end they were pretty cool but I've been banned from doing this ever again. ROFL I thought it deserved a hole page in the book too. I stamped the snowflakes from  Project Life Hello December 2015 Bundle in Lost Lagoon. I glued a christmas card to the Very Vanilla card stock and stamped the image from Project Life Hello December 2015 Bundle in Mint Macaron. I stamped the Love from Holly Jolly Greetings Stamp Set in Basic Gray. Then added embellishments from the Project Life Hello December 2015 Bundle and added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel.

December so far has been quite the month to not to forget! Will we be ready for Christmas day???? Stay tuned :)
