Thankful Forest Friends Card

Hello Peeps!!

Where have I been? Things have been pretty busy and hectic around here for us!! My uncle and aunt came for a visit. We've been trying to wrap up projects before winter hits; hauling firewood, fixing our roof, putting new waterlines in for my parents barn and etc. So dh and I have been working around the clock which has not left much time for anything else!! My blog also has been down again :( and I just didn't have time to mess with getting it fixed.

Today's share is a card I made for a bonus idea for my Rubber Redneck 9 Days of Fall On-line Class. Class members get a sneak peek to some of my upcoming projects that will be posted on my blog! It uses the Thankful Forest Friends Stamp Set (W) item #139720 (C) item #139723 from the Holiday Catalog (pg. 43).

Rubber Redneck Quick Shots:

* Stamp the image from Thankful Forest Friends Stamp Set in Tangelo Twist on to a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. Sponge the edges with Early Espresso Ink.

* I added a few pieces of Farmers Market Designer Series Paper. I punch out one end using the Banner Triple Punch.

* Add a piece of Gold Glimmer Paper across the Farmers Market Designer Series Paper. Punch out the ends with the Banner Punch.

* Stamp the image form Thankful Forest Friends Stamp Set in Early Espresso onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. Zip the image through the Big Shot with the Oval Framelits.

* To finish off the card add a piece of Burlap Ribbon and a Brights candy Dot.

The Stamp Review Crew; Lighthearted Leaves

Welcome to another The Stamp Review Crew Hop!! We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who will be bringing you lots of ideas for one particular stamp set twice a month!!  The 1st and 3rd Monday of each month, you can hop along from one blog to the next gathering all kinds of inspiration for one Stampin' Up! stamp set. Please note the blog doesn't officially start until Monday November 2, 2015 so some of the links may not work.

I so excited for the fun to start!! We have a great group of talented stampers for this hop!!  If you are following the hop in order you just arrived from Linda's BLOG where she showed you all something fabulous!We are featuring the Lighthearted Leaves Photopolymer Stamp Set item #139712 (pg. 44) from the Holiday catalog. This is s a gorgeous and fun set!

Fall is my FAVORITE time of the year!! I love the colors, the crispness in the air, pumpkins, hot apple cider and etc. I could go on and on! So of course this was a must have set as a girl can NEVER have too many leave sets :)

I created a fun card using some really fun patterns from the chevron to the bohemian. My colors Cajun Craze, Old Olive, Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey and Early Espresso. Perfect fall colors! I paired the Lighthearted Leaves Stamp Set with the Leaflets Framelits. Love that the framelit fits this set. I popped up some of the leaves to make them stand out more.

The inside I kept pretty simple. I added some Very Vanilla card stock and a strip of the Bohemian Designer Series Paper.
