Big News!! Sweet Baby Boy

Posting late here today and wanted to share quick it was one of those crazy days but we had a big surprise this morning. Say hello to my new little cousin :) Harmon Taylor FINALLY!!!!

Isn't he sticking cute? I've had to wait way to long and he was 2 weeks early! lol Mama and baby are doing just fine. He weighed 7lbs 9oz.

* Die cut out a piece of Pacific Point card stock using the Mini Treat Bag Thinlit and Big Shot.

* Take the stamp from Perfect Pennants Stamp Set; ink it in Pacific Point and stamp all over the Pacific Point card stock.

* Add a piece of Brights Designer Series Paper from the stack. I added a piece of Gold Glimmer Paper that I die cut out using one of the dies that comes with the Mini Treat Bag Thinlit Die.

* I die cut out the star in Pacific Point card stock using the die that comes with the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits. I stamped the 4th all over it using the stamps from Project Life Day to Day Set.

* I added the Hello which is the stamp from Tin of Cards Stamp Set.

* Add a piece of 2014-2016 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack and 2015-2017 In Color Envelope Paper to the Whisper White card stock.

* Stamp the star from Tin of Cards Stamp Set in Watermelon Wonder Ink onto the Watermelon Wonder card stock.

* Take the hello stamp from Tin of Cards Stamp Set ink it in Hello Honey and stamp onto a piece of Whisper White card stock and punch it out using the 1 3/8 Circle Punch.

After I made this I had another idea and I REALLY wanted to make it so I did :) Here is a stepped up version of the card.

I just love my Washi Tapes soooo much so yep I used them on the card to replace the paper. I also made an adorable envelope to go with it too. So easy to do with the Envelope Punch Board.

Of course I decorated the front of the envelop to match the little note card. This is a card that I would hand deliver to someone of course. Pretty cute isn't it??

* Create a pocket out of the Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper Stack. Decorate the front of it using the 1 3/4 Scallop Circle Punch, 1 1/4 Scallop Circle Punch, and the Bitty Butterfly Punch.

* Create a pull out card. Stamp the images from Endless Birthday Wishes Stamp Set in Watermelon Wonder and Cucumber Crush onto the Whisper White card stock.

* Add some Cherry on Top Designer Series Washi Tape to the bottom.

* Punch a hole at the top and tie a piece of 1" Cucumber Crush Dotted Lace Trim.

Two of my favorite new products out of the catalog are the You've Got This Stamp Set and the Everyday Chic Designer Series Paper. I just LOVE these two items!!! The stamp set you can make simple and fun cards or you can make really elegant looking cards with it too!

* Create a card base out of Crumb Cake card stock. Add a piece of Everyday Chic Designer Series Paper to the bottom.

* Take the stamp from You've Got This; ink it in Crumb Cake and stamp onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. Take the flower image from You've Got This Stamp Set; ink it in Memento Ink Tuxedo Black and stamp over the Crumb Cake image. Take the saying from Tin of Cards Stamp Set; ink it in Pacific Point and stamp onto the Whisper White card stock.

* Wrap a piece of 3/8 Pacific Point Stitched Satin Ribbon and Silver Metallic Thread around the bottom.

* Finish off decorating the card using those trusty Rhinestone Basic Jewels :)

I filled the retired Polk-a-Dot Tag-a-Bag with some goodies for each person. :) Then I decorated it using the Hostess Set called A Whole Lot of Lovely Stamp Set. I LOVE this hostess set. The Tag a bags are perfect for whipping up little gifts.

* Add a piece of 2015-2017 In  Color Envelope Paper across the top. Cut a piece of Cherry On Top Designer Series Paper and notch out one end.

* Cut a piece of Gold Glimmer Paper and notch out each end. Then I wrapped some Linen Thread around the top.

* Take the stamp from A Whole Lot of Lovely Stamp Set; ink it in Watermelon Wonder and stamp onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. Punch out the image using the 2 1/2" Circle Punch.

* Ink the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set in Delightful Dijon, stamp onto the right side of the Whisper White panel. The Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set is perfect for creating a collage look.

* Add a piece of the 1" Watermelon Wonder Dotted Lace Trim. I scrunched it up. Add a piece of 1 1/4 White Jute Ribbon and some of the Silver Metallic Thread (this stuff is awesome).

* I cut a strip of 2015-2017 In Color Designer Series Paper and attached it across the 1" Watermelon Wonder Dotted Lace Trim with Stampin' Dimensionals.

* Ink the stamp from Tin of Cards Stamp Set in Memento Pad Tuxedo Black and stamp onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. Die cut it out using the Big Shot and the Tags & Labels Framelits.

* Ink the stamp from Petite Petals Stamp Set in Watermelon Wonder and stamp onto Whisper White card stock. Punch out the cute flowers using the Petite Petals Punch.

I just group all the different things together and pretty soon you have a nice little collage going on.

Paper Pumpkin Box meets Project Life

Morning all,

Sorry I have been missing; my brother came home and I took some time off to go fishing with him and my dad. Usually he comes home Father's Day weekend then is home all week but this year he got his dates mixed up so it was last min. lol Then I ended up having a bad flair up over the last few day's here so not been feeling too hot. I'll share the card from the hop next week I already have the post scheduled for the color round up next week to go so it will happen :)

I shared awhile ago that I finally got to the end of January with my Daily Project Life Journal and here is the picture of the box so far.

As you can see my box idea is pretty full, which I figured it would maybe hold 3 months but it just fits 1 month. lol So I needed to figure out what and how to store it because I wanted to wait till the end of the year to put it in my album. I want to see what it all looks like. So brain storming started....then the light bulb went off! I saved the Paper Pumpkin boxes because they work really good to store stuff in another plus for joining My Paper Pumpkin :)

I opened up the box and removed the lid using a box cutter. Really easy to do just follow the creased line.

I still have lots of the wrapping paper from the Holiday Catalog so I cut a piece big enough to wrap the box as I didn't want the red box.

I attached the Wrapping Paper to the ends of the box first so I cut slights on the sides.

I folded over the sides like your wrapping a present and creased the paper. I then cut on those creases and notched out the one corner, because I didn't want to make it look like a wrapped present I just wanted the edges to be flush for finished look.

I then folded over the sides and glued to the edges. I took my scissors and cut the excess wrapping paper off on the inside.

I wanted the inside to have a finished look since it will take a little while to fill it up. So I cut a piece of Crumb Cake card stock to fit inside the box.

I then pulled off the decoration from the other box that was on the front and attached it to the front of the Paper Pumpkin Box.

Here is the side view check out all that room baby! lol I think I will be able to get a total of 3-4 month's in this box so I will probably have 3 boxes at the end of the year but these will fit better on my designated shelf area. So there you go a mini tutorial for how to changed your paper pumpkin boxes into a storage box for your project life. :)
