* Zip the Coastal Cabana card stock through the Big Shot with the Honeycomb Embossing Folder.

* Stamp the images from Crazy About You Stamp Set onto some Whisper White card stock. I stamped onto Whisper White card stock to make them stand out a little more.

* I used the Rotary Remember Stamp to stamp the date randomly all over the card stock to incorporate the date into my layout.

* Zip the Crumb Cake card stock through the Big Shot with the Happy Hearts Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

* I used the Big Shot and Hello You Thinlits to show what I was thinking on my layout when I picked up my husband from the airport.

Here is the layout I created using the cards I created. My husband is always being funny and of course when I picked him up from the airport he was definitely no different than normal. lol It was Jan. 26 and felt like spring that day which is so not normal for MN winters so I had to make my layout floral just to reflect that. lol Once we got home I was shot so we just vegged and hung out on the couch. Of course we had to watch the Interview after everything went on with the movie and HAD to document it.

* Stamp onto the Wild Wasabi card stock using the Painted Petals Stamp Set; inked in Wild Wasabi down the right side and across the bottom.

* Zip the Wild Wasabi card stock through the Big Shot with the Honeycomb Embossing Folder.

* Cut out the center of the Wild Wasabi card stock measuring in 3/4" around the edge.

* Ink the Dictionary Background Stamp in Daffodil Delight. Stamp off onto a piece of scratch paper and then stamp onto the Whisper White card stock.

Where have I been?. After the hop I started having problems with my blog all week. We broke my blog from the hop! lol It looks like things are back up and running! The Stamp Review Crew: Painted Petals

Welcome to another The Stamp Review Crew Hop!! We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who will be bringing you lots of ideas for one particular stamp set twice a month!!  The 1st and 3rd Monday of each month, you can hop along from one blog to the next gathering all kinds of inspiration for one Stampin' Up! stamp set. Please note the blog doesn't officially start until Monday April 6 so some of the links may not work.

I so excited for the fun to start!! We have a great group of talented stampers for this hop!!  If you are following the hop in order you just arrived from Cindy Beach's blog Stamps, Paper and Ink where she made some fabulous projects!!! We are featuring the Painted Petals Stamp Set from the Occasion Catalog.

This is another great and fun set to work with! What I love the most about this set is that even if you are not a water coloring expert this set allows you to achieve that same great look! I've used this set a LOT! 

My first project up is this soft beautiful looking card. I must confess I am not a pastel gal but these colors I just love together!! I will be missing my Pistachio Pudding and Crisp Cantaloupe. Just the two flowers alone are perfect from the Painted Petals Stamp Set and I just absolutely LOVE the saying!! I used the matching embossing folder Spring Flowers.

Next up is a REALLY fun project idea. I was trying to come up with something to make for spring to send out to friends and family. A few minutes before I had gotten a text from my step mother in law asking for a new picture of us. So all the sudden a light bulb went off and this idea was born. lol I created a picture frame from card stock. Stamped my flower images from the Painted Petals Stamp Set. This set is perfect to create artwork with!! I did combine it with the Dictionary Background Stamps. Stop back Thursday and I will have a video tutorial and directions on how to create this!

Scrapbook Saddle Up Friday; Baby Page

Morning peeps,

Every Friday I will be hosting the Scrapbook Saddle Up with y'all!! It will feature a scrapbook layout to a scrapbooking album ideas along with tips, techniques and etc!!

This past year I made baby albums for a christmas gift for my husband's side. Our niece turned 1 and is the first grandchild for his immediate family. So I wanted to highlight her first year and thought what a great christmas gift idea it would be. The first page I created was her name, date she was born, where she was born, how much she weighed and etc. That I won't be sharing as it as a lot information on it I am not sure they would want that info posted. But I just printed it out onto Whisper White card stock and decorated it with the Little Moments Accessory Pack Project Life.

This is the first page for when she was born. We got the call that my sister in-law was going in and for us to go to the hospital. But she was actually born before we got to the hospital she wasted no time. lol Very impatient and still is. lol But I got to take pictures of her being weighed and measured. It was pretty cool!

Rubber Redneck Quick Shots:

* For my colors I pulled the idea from the Little Moments Card Collections Project Life.

* For top picture I mounted to some So Saffron card stock that I decorated with images from Something to Say Stamp Set and the Sweet Dreams Designer Paper.

* The left square is one of the Little Moments Card Collections Project Life. I decorated it with the Sweet Dreams Designer Series Paper again. A pictured attaches to that square.

* The right square is another Little Moments Card Collections Project Life. I decorated it using the Little Moments Accessory Pack Project Life, Big Shot and Banner Framelits. The funny part is the saying is exactly what my husband said to her.

I made 5 albums and I used MDS and purchased the digital downloads for the Little Moments Collections that way I could just print them out and keep them the same. I also use the 6 x 8 Espresso Project Life Album it worked slick to highlight all the special moments of her first year!

Update 9 Days of Spring Class Date Changed!!!

Sorry I have been missing in action! Last few day's here have been pretty busy for us. It was decided last minute to do Easter with our family at our home this year. Everyone wanted to do one last hora here before we start building our new home. So we have been scrambling to say the least; we are in the middle of taxes (that it's self is a nightmare) and cleaning up my mess since of course I am also in the middle of many projects along with sorting and condensing my craft room down. lol In fact I even have a picture to share of the one disaster. lol

This is what happens when you pull out the stuff in a closet....there's a reason they call it a closet. ROFL My husband wanted to know if I was ready to get help :) We also are working on changing my wood stamps over to the cling. I am proud of myself I have manged to part with some so wait till you see the stamps I will have for sale. So with this all going on of course I am not getting my rest and had a pretty bad flair up. Which leads to the next update.......

Update 2: In order to keep my sanity and my husband's I decided to push back the 9 Day Spring Class. When I planned this class I thought it wouldn't be that big of deal when it was originally supposed to start because I wasn't going to host Easter. lol Along with the fact the one of the sets I was going to use for the class now can't be ordered at all due to the dock strike mess. So I had a few projects I need to remake and not enough time to prep for the kits. The  new class details are below. So those of you asking me about still purchasing the paper kit you can!!
