The 1st and 3rd Monday of each month, you can hop along from one blog to the next gathering all kinds of inspiration for one Stampin' Up! stamp set. Please note the blog doesn't officially start until Monday March 3 so some of the links may not work.
I so excited for the fun to start!! We have a great group of talented stampers for this hop!! If you are following the hop in order you just arrived from Bronwyn Eastley blog addINKtivedesigns where she made some fabulous projects!!! We are featuring the Sheltering Tree Stamp Set from the Occasion Catalog.
This set is AWESOME and if you don't have it what are you waiting for! lol This set has so much potential for so many different things. The other day I was sharing some one layer cards due to some requests and as you may know I struggle with making them. This set is PERFECT for one layer cards it's so stink-in easy to make one with this set. I really recommend this set just for that purpose. lol
Here is my first project. One-layer card using the Sheltering Tree Set. I made a small sized card cause I thought it would be cute! Literally took about 5 min to whip this baby up! To dress this card up I used some Pearl Basic Jewels. I pulled some of the Baked Brown Sugar Thick Baker's Twine apart to tie around the bottom. Then I added little buds to the tips of the branches. Stop back Thursday and I will have a video tutorial on how I did the little buds and this card.

Next up how about some project life custom cards! Some of you may have seen my project life daily journal that I have been sharing. I made these cards for February 10th. We got a snow storm that day here so I wanted to incorporate that into my layout. The Sheltering Tree Stamp Set is perfect to use for project life if you want to make custom cards and it will work for many different times of the year. LOVE that about this set!!!
