2 Simple Cards Perfect Pennants and Hooray It's Your Day

Morning everyone,

I had planned on posting these yesterday but we've had a rough 3 days here. My husband's father has had some serious medical problems due to his medications he is on; to sum it up he came close to dying. He is doing a little better thank goodness but will be in the hospital for at least 3 more days with follow up tests and to monitor him. Were both pretty exhausted and would like to hibernate for a month! lol

I'll have my scrapbook saddle up to share later today with you all. My dumb pictures didn't turn out. So once I have good light I will get new pictures :) So be sure to stop back later today. I get asked a lot about one layer cards. I really struggle making them because for me MORE is better. lol But I managed to create 2 different one's to share with you all. I hope this helps some of you that have been asking about them.

Rubber Redneck Quick Shots: Card 1

* I found creating a card base out of Very Vanilla or Whisper White is easier for me to do a one layer card.

* Stamp the images from Hooray It's Your Day Stamp Set in Rich Razzleberry, Tempting Turquoise, Pumpkin Pie, Curry.

* Stamp the birthday image from Four You Stamp Set in Old Olive Ink.

* Add some embellishments to it to finish it off.

Rubber Redneck Quick Shots Card 2:

* I stamped the images from Perfect Pennants Stamp Set in Daffodil Delight, Bermuda Bay and Memento Pad Tuxedo Black.

* I added a little bit of pattern to the Whisper White card stock using our Simply Scored Scoring Tool.

* Pull some sequins off the Bermuda Bay Sequin Trim to dress the card up.
