Scrapbook Saddle Up Friday; Daily Project Life Journal

Happy Friday Peeps,

It's Friday Yay!! This is my favorite day of the week for me cause Fridays are my day off from one of our businesses and my weekend starts! It's a good thing I do to have today off as I am a little behind on some things here. I have some fun projects I am working on and will be sharing those next week with ya!

Friday is my scrapbook saddle up day here on my blog. Every Friday I will be hosting the Scrapbook Saddle Up with y'all!! It will feature a scrapbook layout to a scrapbooking album ideas along with tips, techniques and etc!! Today is a fun project idea that came from Pintrest last year. This year I wanted to try a daily journal but I wanted to incorporate scrapbooking into it since I am a scrapbooker. So I started a Daily Project Life Journal!! My twist to the original idea I saw. I am so excited about this project and can't wait to share it with you all!

Rubber Redneck Quick Shots:

* To hold my daily journal I used one of the Tag A Bag Gift Boxes. I decorated the front of  it using the Borderettes and Project Life Remember This Stamp Sets. I die cut out some card stock using the Big Shot and Chalk Talk Framelits.

* I tied some of the heavy twine around the box that came from the Tag A Bag Accessory Kit.

* Right now there is plenty of room in the Tag A Bag Gift Box but as this progresses I may have to glue several together to store it all.

* This is what the stack looks like so far when you pull it out.  I created a front divider using the Borderettes, Project Life Day to Day, Project Life Point & Click Photopolymer Stamp Sets.

* My title I printed out onto some Lost Lagoon card stock. The font I used is called Cinnamon Cake from dafont.com it's free to download. My title says....Blinks of Life New Adventures Here we come.

* I decorated the front using a few of these products; Happiness is Project Life Accessory Pack, Tea Lace Paper Doilies, Tag a Bag Accessory Kit, and 2014- 2016 In Color Clothespins.

* I colored some Whisper White Baker's Twine using the 2014-2016 In Color Markers (Lost Lagoon).

* Each month I will create a divider to put in front of the recipe cards. I used the Big Shot and File Tab Framelits to create this.  Very easy to do! I stamped the month "January" from Project Life Day to Day Photopolymer Stamp Set.

* I want each month to reflect a few things that do go on that month here. I decorated the top using the washi tape from Happiness is Project Life Accessory Pack. I stamped the image from Borderettes Photopolymer Stamp Set in Blackberry Bliss ink.

* I stamped Happy New Year from Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set.

* January here for us the beginning of winter so I stamped the image from Crazy About You and Project Life Day to Day Photopolymer Stamp Set.

Next week I will share a little more of this project with you all.  This will give you a little glimpse into our life :) It has been really fun to start this and I hope it inspires you to create your own! My husband has even been having fun with it too :)
