The 1st and 3rd Monday of each month, you can hop along from one blog to the next gathering all kinds of inspiration for one Stampin' Up! stamp set. Please note the blog doesn't officially start until Monday July 7 so some of the links may not work.
I so excited for the fun to start!! We have a great group of talented stampers for this hop!! If you arrived from Jilll's Blog you are in the right place If I am the first stop on the blog hop your good to go! Just follow the links to complete the hop. It goes full circle. We are all featuring Summer Silhouettes Stamp Set from the Stampin' Up! Catalog.
If you visit my blog you all know how much I love this set!! This set works for anytime of the year!! It is the most versatile set that I have ever owned. Have I said how much I love it?? lol You might have noticed that there are no christmas sets in the Stampin' Up! Catalog and this years Holiday Catalog is being released later. Some of you maybe in a panic if your like me and send out a ton of Christmas cards you need to start in July. No worries I got your back jack :) and to also show you how versatile the Summer Silhouettes Set is I created a card for Christmas!!!
Here is the front of my card using the Summer Silhouettes Stamp Set. I paired it with the Hardwood Background Stamp of course had to work that one in some how :) and I also used More Merry Messages which will be retiring July 31st!! My colors are Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake and Pistachio Pudding (I love this color). I added some Jewel Basic Pearls, 1/2 Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding, and Venetian Crochet Trim. Look how pretty and easy it is to create a Christmas card with this set!!
I of course decorated the inside too a card just isn't finished until the inside is done! I used the Summer Silhouettes Stamp Set again to add color to the inside. I used some more of that pretty Venetian Crochet Trim too!
I hope you liked my card!! I had a lot of fun creating it! I will be sharing the details on this card on Saturday so be sure to stop back. Now you'll want to head on over to Dawn Tidd's Blog, Tiddbits from Dawn and see her fabulous creation!
