Scrapbook Saddle Up Friday; 6 x 6 Page Designer Kit

Morning everyone!!

Every Friday I will be hosting the Scrapbook Saddle Up with y'all!! It will feature a scrapbook layout to a scrapbooking album ideas along with tips, techniques and etc!! Today I am sharing a 6 x 6 page layout!  This page uses the the Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit from the Spring Catalog. I wanted to show another way to use this fun little kit and how easy it can be by paring it with a few other items from the catalog!! I made the fun page under 10 min.

My base is a piece of 6 x 6 Pool Party card stock. I took the embossed paper tag from the Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit and glued it to the left side of the page. I cut a piece of Very Vanilla card stock and glued it to the Pool Party card stock. I cut a piece of Crumb Cake card stock and punched one side out with the Scallop Trim Border Punch.

Tip~ I didn't want to the piece of Crumb Cake card stock to go all the way across the page. This is a fun way to added just a little bit of border to your page.

I glued the punched Crumb Cake card stock to the bottom of the Very Vanilla card stock; lining up the edge with the right side of the Pool Party card stock. I placed a piece of the Vanilla Baker's Twine from the Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit onto the punched Crumb Cake card stock. It is the perfect length for a 6 x 6 page. I then added the paper flowers that come in the Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit with Stampin' Dimensionals onto the left corner of the page. I also added one of the fun fabric covered brads that comes in the kit!! I took the stamp Just for You that comes exclusive to the kit; inked in Crumb Cake and stamped onto a piece of Crumb Cake card stock. I punched out the saying with the Large Oval Punch. I attached it in the upper right hand corner of the page.

Tip~ If you don't have a picture handy place a Stampin' Dimensional onto the back of the oval so the picture can still slide under it.

Then to finish off the page I just added some Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the layout. See how easy and fun it is to use the Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit!! This kit works great for cards, 3D items or even to create scrapbook pages!!

Bootiful Occasions Card

Morning all!

I hope you had a great weekend! We had a pretty busy week and weekend here. I took my dad for some tests on his heart and I am happy to say they came back good!! He still has to have a few more tests to figure out what is going on but at least they don't think it's his heart!! Then we celebrated my dad and brother's birthday so it was another trip out of town. lol I can say I am tired but it was fun!!

Today I am sharing a card I created to play along with a challenge for my Frosty Kisses On-line Class. It uses the stamp set called Bootiful Occasions this is a fun and cute set to use!!! The class officially over but you can still purchase the class and get 14 fabulous and cute projects with step by step photos in a downloadble PDF along with Video Tutorials!

My base is Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of Island Indigo and Whisper White card stock next. I ran the Whisper White card stock through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. I cut a piece of the 2011-2013 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack (Island Indigo pattern). I glued it to the bottom of the Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of Bashful Blue card stock and ran it through the Big Shot with the Delicate Designs Embossing Folder. I punched out a piece of Glimmer Paper Silver with the 2 3/8 Scallop Circle Punch. I then wrapped some of the 5/8 Organza Ribbon around the center of the card stock. I added a loop of 5/8 Whisper White Organza Ribbon to the other piece of ribbon. I attached all the layers to the front of the Whisper White card with Stampin' Dimensionals. I cut a piece of Island Indigo and Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Bootiful Occasions Stamp Set; inked in Jet Black Stazon and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. I colored the boot in with Bashful Blue Stampin' Write Marker. I added some Dazzling Details Silver Sparkle to the boot. I glued the Whisper White card stock to the Island Indigo card stock. I attached the card stock with Stampin' Dimensionals. I then added a Subtles Designer Button with a Large Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the center. I finished it off by adding Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

This was supposed to post on Wed. but I apparently didn't schedule it to post! lol So it's a day late :) Yes the Color Round Up challenge is back!!! Today's card features the Sent with Love stamp set that is available until April 24!!! I know your probable thinking valentines day?? Nope I created a perfect "guy" birthday card!!!! This stamp set has a lot of possibilities!!!

Every Wednesday I will be posting a new Color Round Up Color Challenge!!! All color challenges will be based on Stampin' Up! color families. I am a Stampin' Up! Demo so if you would like to play along you can ONLY use SU product per Stampin' Up! Rules, thanks for understanding!

My base is Island Indigo card stock. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock and ran it through the Big Shot with the Chevron Embossing Folder. I then cut 3 different patterns of Sent With Love Designer Series Paper. I took the stamp from Made for You Stamp Set; inked in Island Indigo and stamped onto the "pool party" Sent with Love Designer Series Paper. I glued all the designer papers to the Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of Real Red card stock and punched one side of it with the Scallop Border Punch. I took the Paper-Piercing Tool and Stampin' Pierce Mat and pierced holes in each scallop. I cut two pieces of 1/8 Real Red Taffeta and wrapped it around the layer's of paper just above the "happy birthday".

I die cut a piece of Whisper White card stock using the Big Shot and the Window Frames Collection Framelits Dies. I took the stamp from Sent with Love Stamp Set; inked in Island Indigo and stamped onto the Whisper White die cut. I used the Festive Paper-Piercing Pack, Paper-Piercing Tool and Stampin' Pierce Mat and pierced holes around the edge of the Whisper White die cut. I then attached to the layers with Stampin' Dimensionals. I wrapped some Whisper White Baker's Twine around the left side. I attached all the layers of card stock to the front of the Island Indigo card. I added a Silver Basic Designer Button with some White Baker's Twine tied through it on the bottom left corner. I took the stamp from Sent with Love Stamp Set Stamp Set; inked in Island Indigo and stamped onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. I then cut out the image and attached over the other plane with Stampin' Dimensionals. I added a row of Rhinestone Basic Jewels in the bottom right hand corner of the Whisper White card stock.

My base is Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of Basic Gray card stock and glued it onto the left side of the card. I cut a piece of In Color 2011-2013 Designer Series Paper Stack (Pool Party) and glued that to the Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of Print Poetry Designer Series Paper Stack. I then wrapped some 1 1/4 Two-Tone Basic Gray/Basic Black Ribbon around the piece of Designer Series Paper. I wrapped a piece of 3/8 Midnight Muse Stitched Ribbon on top of the 1 1/4 Two-Tone Basic Gray/Basic Black Ribbon. I then glued all of this to the center of the card. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Snow Much Fun Stamp Set; inked in Jet Black Stazon and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. I then colored in the image using the Many Marvelous Markers, 2011-2013 In Color Stampin' Write Markers and 2012-2014 In Color Stampin' Write Markers. To do my shading on the snow man I used the Blender Pen and the Basic Gray Marker. I then glued the Whisper White card stock to the center of the card. I then added a 3/8 Midnight Muse Stitched Ribbon Bow with a Neutrals Designer Button. I placed a Large Rhinestone Jewel into the center of the button. I placed Rhinestone Jewels on the right side of the card.

More Mustard card

Morning everyone!!

Sorry I didn't post the last few days. We had a pretty busy weekend and on Sunday had an unplanned trip out of town and got home late. Monday I didn't feel good at all so I had to be a bum and yesterday was busy with jobs. lol Wasn't the hop awesome the gals always make great projects!!! Below is the details about my card I made for the hop. The re-inkers on some of the colors are already sold out so if you have things you want I suggest your order them asap! lol

My base is More Mustard card stock. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock and ran it through the Big Shot with the Honeycomb Embossing Folder. I cut a piece of More Mustard card stock. I took the En Francais Background Stamp; inked in More Mustard and stamped it onto the More Mustard card stock. I cut a piece of Regals Color Collection Designer Series Paper Stack. I cut a Paper Dollie in half. I then added some Delicate Details Lace Tape and placed it across the Designer Series Paper. I wrapped a piece of 1/2 More Mustard Scallop Dots Ribbon below the Delicate Details Lace Tape. I took the stamp from Friendly Phrases Stamp Set; inked in More Mustard and stamped onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. I then used the Big Shot and the Window Frames Collection Framelits to die cut out the saying. I used the Festive Paper-Piercing Pack, Paper-Piercing Tool and Stampin' Pierce Mat to pierce a row of holes around the edge of the the Whisper White die cut. I attached it to the front of the card with Stmapin' Dimensionals. I placed Stampin' Dimensionals onto the back of the Whisper White card stock and attached it to the front of the More Mustard card. I added a Vintage Faceted Designer Button with some Whisper White Baker's Twine on the left side. I added in some Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
