Easy Events Card

Morning everyone!

I have some exciting news to share!! Today is officially my hubby's last day at his current job!! He got a really great job offer working for another place here in town. He will have better hours and every weekend off!!! Hooray!!! We are so excited for this new chapter in our life!

Today I am sharing a card I created this to play along with a challenge for my Frosty Kisses On-line Class. It uses the stamp set called Your are Loved. The class officially ended today but it's not you can still purchase the class and get 14 fabulous and cute projects with step by step photos in a downloadble PDF along with Video Tutorials!

My base is Chocolate Chip card stock. I cut  a piece of Whisper White card stock. I took the Paper-Piercing Tool, Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack and Stampin' Pierce Mat to pierce a row of holes around the edge of the Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of Lucky Limeade card stock. I took the stamp from Easy Events Stamp Set; inked in Chocolate Chip and stamped onto the Lucky Limeade card stock. I used the Paper-Piercing Tool, Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack and Stampin' Pierce Mat to pierce a row of holes on the Old Olive card stock below the stamped saying and then in the upper right hand corner. I cut a piece of Subtles Color Collection Designer Series Paper Stack and glued it to the center of the Lucky Limeade card stock. I cut a piece of 2011-2013 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack and glued it to the other piece of Designer Series Paper. I wrapped a piece of 1/2 Chocolate Chip Scallop Dots Ribbon around the center of the card stock. I placed Stampin' Dimensionals onto the back of the Whisper White card stock and attached to the front of the Chocolate Chip card. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Easy Events Stamp Set; inked in Jet Black Stazon and stamped onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. I used the 2011-2013 In Color Stampin' Write Markers and colored in the images. I attached the Whisper White card stock to the front of the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. I then added a Subtles Designer Button with some Lucky Limeade Baker's Twine. I placed some Rhinestone Basic Jewels across the top to finish it off.

You are Loved Card

Morning everyone,

I hope you had a good weekend!! I have a couple of things to share first the upcoming Spring Time Edition 2013 Class has been cancelled due to family emergencies. I will let you all know when the Summer Fun Class will be in a few weeks. I hope to be able to work the dates so that I can still use the Oh, Hello Bundle in the Summer Fun Class. Thank you all for understanding.

My base is Chocolate Chip card stock. I cut a piece of Wisteria Wonder card stock and ran it through the Big Shot with the Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder. I cut a piece of Calypso Coral card stock and ran it through the Big Shot with the Adorning Accents Folders. I wrapped some 1/2 Chocolate Chip Scallop Dots Ribbon around the center of the card stock. I wrapped some Wisteria Wonder Baker's Twine around the center on top. I placed Stampin' Dimensionals onto the back of the Wisteria Wonder card stock and attached it to the front of the Chocolate Chip card. I cut a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I took the stamp from You are Loved Stamp Set; inked in Wisteria Wonder and stamped onto the Very Vanilla card stock. I glued the Very Vanilla card stock to the center of the card. I cut a piece of Calypso Coral card stock and notched out the right side and glued it across the stamped heart.

I used the Big Shot and the Heart of Hearts Embosslit to die cut and emboss a heart in Chocolate Chip card stock. I attached with a Stampin' Dimensional. I took the stamp from Hearts a Flutter Stamp Set; inked in Wisteria Wonder and stamped it onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I then ran the stamped card stock through the Big Shot with the Hearts a Flutter Framelits. I placed a Stampin' Dimensional onto the back of the heart and attached to the card. I took the stamp from You are Loved Stamp Set; inked in Calypso Coral and stamped onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I notched out one side and attached it across the hearts. I created a double bow out of the Wisteria Wonder Baker's Twine and wrapped a 3/8 Printed In Color Brad around the  bow and attached it to the card. I then placed some Pearls Basic Jewels onto the card.

Scrapbook Saddle Up Friday; Snow Swirled 8 x 8 Page

Morning all and Happy Friday!!

I wanted to share something special with you all today!!! Recently another demo and fellow friend Mary Ann emailed me a very kind and heart warming message about scrapbooking and how much it was a struggle for her. She recently made a beautiful page of her special dog that has passed away. I HAD to share the link to her blog The Joy of Stamping because she did a beautiful job!!! Every Friday I will be hosting the Scrapbook Saddle Up with y'all!! It will feature a scrapbook layout to a scrapbooking album ideas along with tips, techniques and etc!! Today I am sharing a 8 x 8 page layout!  This page uses the Stamp Set Snow Swirled. My base is Crumb Cake card stock. I cut a piece of Pool Party card stock. I took the stamp from Snow Swirled Stamp Set; inked in Pool Party and stamped onto the top half of the Pool Party card stock. I took the Paper-Piercing Tool and Stampin' Pierce Mat and added some paper-piercing in the bottom corners on the Pool Party card stock. I glued the Pool Party card stock to the Crumb Cake card stock.

Tip~ Leave a 1/2" border around your next layer of card stock to help make the page look like it has more depth.

I cut a piece of 2011-2013 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack (Lucky Limeade) and glued it across the page. Using the Scallop Oval Punch I punched out a piece of So Saffron card stock. I then used the Crumb Cake Stampin' Write Marker to write on the punched So Saffron card stock. I cut two piece of Very Vanilla card stock for my photo mats. I glued them at an angle onto the Pool Party card stock.

Tip~ angle your photo mats to create an interesting layout. You can also use one photo mat as the journaling area too!!!

I cut a piece of Subtles Color Collection Designer Series Paper Stack (So Saffron). I used the 3/16 corner punch to round the upper corners. I then glued it to the Pool Party card stock over lapping the photo mats. I took the stamp from Fabulous Phrases Stamp Set; inked in Pool Party and stamped onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I used the 3 1/16 Corner Punch to round the bottom corners on the Very Vanilla card stock.

Tip~ Use the 3/16 Corner Punch to create a tag effect to your card stock.

I cut a piece of 7/8 Natural Cotton Ribbon. I took the stamps from Snow Swirled Stamp Set; inked them in Pool Party, and Lucky Limeade and stamped onto the ribbon. I punched a piece of Crumb Cake card stock out with the 2 3/8 Scallop Circle Punch. I used the Paper-Piercing Tool and Stampin' Pierce Mat to add holes to each scallop. I took the stamp from Snow Swirled Stamp Set; inked in Pool Party and stamped onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I then punched it out with the 1 3/4" Scallop Circle Punch. I placed a Builder Brad in the center. I took the stamp from Snow Swirled Stamp Set; inked in Lucky Limeade and stamped onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I then punched it out with the 3/4" Circle Punch.  I attached to the Builder Brad with a Glue Dot. I attached all the scallop circles to the page with Stampin' Dimensionals. I then finished it off by placing some Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the layout.

I wrapped a piece of 1/2 Chocolate Chip Scallop Dots Ribbon around the card stock. I placed Stampin' Dimensionals onto the back of the Pool Party card stock and attached it to the front of the Chocoalte Chip card stock. Using the Big Shot and the Labels Collection Framelits I die cut out a piece of Primrose Petals card stock. I used the Paper-Piercing Tool, Festive Paper-Piercing Pack and Stampin' Pierce Mat to pierce holes around the edge of the Primrose Petals card stock. I attached it to the front of the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Using the Big Shot and the Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslit I die cut out a piece of Chocolate Chip card stock. I attached the heart with a Stampin' Dimensional to the card. I took the stamp from Seasonal Sayings Stamp Set; inked in Real Red and stamped onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I then ran it through the Big Shot with the Scallop Rectangle Clearits to die cut it out. I attached it to the front of the card with a Stampin' Dimensional. I then added a Brights Designer Button (Real Red) with Pool Party Baker's Twine bows to the button. To finish it off I added some Pearls Basic Jewels to the front of the card.

3 x 3 Valentine

Morning everyone!

Valentine's Day is over but since I was behind with the Christmas stuff I am of course behind sharing my valentine card's as well too. lol On the bright side if you see one you really like you can at least purchase still purchase the stuff if you want too! My base is Whisper White card stock. I cut for a 3 x 3 card then cut about 1/4" off one side so the front would be shorter than the back part of the card.  I took the stamp from Seasonal Sayings Stamp Set; inked in Real Red and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock in the upper left corner. I cut a piece of Basic Black card stock. I punched one side with the Scallop Trim Border Punch. I took the Paper-Piercing Tool and Stampin' Pierce Mat and pierced a hole in each scallop. I glued the Basic Black card stock to the Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper and over lapped the Basic Black card stock. I then wrapped a piece of 3/8 Primrose Petals Stitched Satin Ribbon around the card stock. I added a Bitty Button with a Pool Party Baker's Twine bow to the center. I then added some Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the front as well.

On the inside I just added a strip of More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper towards the bottom. When you close the card then the More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper shows. Very simple but fun and cute card!!

I am finally sharing my last Christmas card too and I saved the best for last :) I created this to play along with a challenge for my Winter Wonderland On-line Class. My base is Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of Lucky Limeade card stock. I took the Hello, Doily Stamp; inked in Lucky Limeade and stamped onto the Lucky Limeade card stock towards the top. I cut a piece of Crumb Cake card stock. I ran the Crumb Cake card stock through the Big Shot with the Petals-a-Plenty Embossing Folder. I cut a piece of Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper Stack and glued above the Crumb Cake card stock. I cut a piece of Glimmer Paper Silver. I ran the Glimmer Paper Silver through the Big Shot with the Finishing Touches Edgelits and glued it above the Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper. I wrapped a piece of 1/2 Baja Breeze Seam Binding Ribbon around the center of the Glimmer Paper Silver and Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper. I cut a piece of Snow Festival Designer Series Paper and glued it to the left side. I cut a piece of Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper Stack. I glued that on the left side.

I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock. I took the stamps from Summer Silhouettes Stamp Set; ink them in Crumb Cake, Baja Breeze, Lucky Limeade, and Cherry Cobbler. I stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Greeting of Season Stamp Set; inked in Early Espresso and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock in the upper right hand corner. I wrapped some Early Espresso Baker's Twine around the left side of the layers. I placed Stampin' Dimensionals onto the back of the Lucky Limeade card stock and attached to the front of the Whisper White card. I added a Vintage Faceted Designer Button with Early Espresso Baker's Twine Bows. On the right side I added some Rhinestone Basic Jewels in the upper corner.

My base is Early Espresso card stock. I cut a piece of Lucky Limeade card stock. I ran the Lucky Limeade card stock through the Big Shot with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder part ways. I took the Paper-Piercing Tool, Stampin' Pierce Mat and Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack and pierced a row of holes across the bottom of the Lucky Limeade card stock. I cut a piece of Summer Starfruit card stock. I took the Woodgrain Background Stamp; inked in Summer Starfruit and stamped it onto the Summer Starfruit card stock. I took the stamp from Greetings of the Season Stamp Set; inked in Early Espresso and stamped it onto the Summer Starfruit card stock. I cut a piece of Real Red card stock. I ran the Real Red card stock through the Big Shot with the Petals-a-Plenty Embossing Folder.

I cut two different patterns of the Candlelight Christmas Designer Series Paper. I punched one of the pieces with the Scallop Trim Border Punch. I wrapped some 3/8 Summer Starfruit Stitched Satin Ribbon around the center of the Candlelight Christmas Designer Series Paper. I placed 2 Metallic Brads on the bottom left side. I then placed Stampin' Dimensionals onto the back of the Lucky Limeade card stock and attached it to the front of the Early Espresso card. I cut a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I took the Christmas Deer Stamp; inked in Early Espresso and stamped it onto the Very Vanilla card stock. I attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. I then added a Naturals Designer Button with double bow of Linen Thread.

Boy am I very glad Friday is here!!! We are still cleaning up the mess from the snow strom here it's getting there though!!

Every Friday I will be hosting the Scrapbook Saddle Up with y'all!! It will feature a scrapbook layout to a scrapbooking album ideas along with tips, techniques and etc!! Today I am sharing a 6 x 6 page layout!  This page uses the Stamp Set No Peeking. My base is Basic Gray card stock. I cut a piece of Wisteria Wonder card stock. I took the Background Stamp Distressed Dots; inked in Wisteria Wonder and stamped on the Wisteria Wonder card stock.

Tip~ Used  a dotted stamp to create a "snow like" background on your paper.

I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock. I used the 3/16 Corner Punch to round the upper left corner. I used the Paper-Piercing Tool, Stampin' Pierce Mat and Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack to add a row of paper piercing across the bottom of the Whisper White card stock. I cut a  piece of 2011-2013 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack (Lucky Limeade). I cut a piece of Glimmer Paper Silver and notched out the left side. I then wrapped some Wisteria Wonder Baker's Twine around the page. I punched out a piece of Basic Gray card stock with the Decorative Label Punch. I used the Paper-Piercing Tool and Stampin' Pierce Mat to pierce holes around the edge of the Basic Gray card stock on the left side.

Tip~ Add a little paper piercing to any where on your page will add some subtle detail.

I took the stamp from No Peeking Stamp Set; inked in Jet Black Stazon and stamped onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. I punched out the image with the Extra-Large Oval Punch. I colored the image in with the 2011-2013 In Color Stampin' Write Markers. I added some Silver Sparkle Dazzling Details to the hat. I attached the pieces of card stock to the page with Stampin' Dimensionals. I then added a Neutrals Designer Button with a 3/8 Designer Printed In Color Brad. I then placed 2 Rhinestone Basic Jewels on the left side of the Whisper White card stock.

Happy Valentine's Day!! Hearts a Flutter Card

Happy Valentine's Day Peeps!! I hope your special someone is good to you today :) hehehe Valentine's Day is a very special day here for us it was also my grandpa's birthday even though he is gone now I always think about grandpa on this day :) It's one birthday I never forgot! lol

Since it's Valentine's Day I thought I would share a valentine card! lol I created this to play along with a challenge for my Frosty Kisses On-line Class. My base is Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of Real Red card stock. I ran the Real Red card stock through the Big Shot with the Chevron Embossing Folder. I cut a piece of Lucky Limeade card stock. I ran the Lucky Limeade card stock through the Big Shot with the Honeycomb Embossing Folder. I cut a piece of Subtles Color Collection Designer Series Paper Stack (Pretty in Pink). I took the stamp from Hearts a Flutter Stamp Set; inked in Real Red and stamped all over the Designer Series Paper. I cut  a piece of Whisper White card stock then punched out one side with the Scallop Trim Border Punch. I wrapped some Lucky Limeade Baker's Twine around the card stock. I placed Stampin' Dimensionals onto the back of the Real Red card stock and attached it to the front of the Whisper White card.

I took the stamp from Hearts a Flutter Stamp Set; inked in Pretty in Pink and stamped onto some Whisper White card stock. I then cut the banner image out and attached it to the card with a Stampin' Dimensional. I took the stamp from Hearts a Flutter Stamp Set; inked in Real Red and stamped it onto the Whisper White card stock. Using the Big Shot and Hearts a Flutter Framelits I die cut out the stamped heart image. I punched out a piece of Real Red card stock using the Full Heart Punch. I then ran the heart through the Big Shot with the Chevron Embossing Folder. I took the stamp from Seasonal Sayings Stamp Set; inked in Lucky Limeade and stamped onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. I punched it out using the Extra-Large Oval Punch. I took the little heart stamp from Hearts a Flutter Stamp Set; inked in Pretty in Pink and stamped onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. I cut out the image and attached all of them with Stampin' Dimensionals. To finish it off I added a Vintage Faceted Designer Button with a Lucky Limeade Baker's Twine Bow and some Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Make a Mitten 4 x 4 Card

Morning all!

Today's share is another christmas card but you could change it out to just be for winter! I created this to play along with a challenge for my Winter Wonderland On-line Class. This card uses the stamp set called Make a Mitten it was in the Holiday Catalog and one of the sets I had to have!! lol

My base is Gumball Green card stock I cut a piece of Soft Suede card stock. I ran it through the Big Shot with the Argyle Embossing Folder. I cut  a piece of Primrose Petals card stock. I took the Paper-Piercing Tool, Stampin' Pierce Mat and Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack and pierced a row of holes onto the Primrose Petals card stock. I then used the White Gel Pen to create "fake stitching". I cut a piece of Snow Festival Designer Series Paper and glued it to the left side of the Primrose Petals card stock. I cut a piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock. I took the stamp from Make a Mitten Stamp Set; inked in Cherry Cobbler and stamped onto the Cherry Cobbler card stock. I then notched out one end and glued it to the Snow Festival Designer Series Paper. I cut another piece of Snow Festival Designer Series Paper and notched out one end. I then wrapped some White Baker's Twine around the left side of the layers of card stock. I placed Stampin' Dimensionals onto the back of the Soft Suede card stock and attached to the front of the Gumball Green card.

Using the Big Shot and Labels Collection Framelits I die cut out a piece of Baja Breeze and Whisper White card stock. I used the Paper-Piercing Tool, Stampin' Pierce Mat and Festive Paper-Piercing Pack to pierce holes around the the Baja Breeze and Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from More Merry Messages Stamp Set; inked in Versa Mark and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. I then poured Gumball Green Embossing Powder over the image and heat set it. I added 3 Rhinestone Basic Jewels below the "Merry Christmas" and attached the labels with Stampin' Dimensionals. I then took the stamp from Make a Mitten Stamp Set; inked in Primrose Petals and stamped onto Whisper White card stock. I cut out the mitten images and attached with Stampin' Dimensionals. I took the Mitten Builder Punch and punched out the ends of the mittens in Cherry Cobbler card stock. I took the stamp from Make a Mitten Stamp Set; inked in Cherry Cobbler and stamped onto the Cherry Cobbler Mitten ends. I used the White Gel Pen to draw around the mitten ends. I then added some 1/4 Gumball Green Sweater Trim to the top of the mittens.
