12 Days of Spooky; Day 1 Toxic Treat Candy Holder

Morning everyone!

Welcome to my 12 Days of SPOOKY!! Starting today I will be sharing on my blog the 12 Days of Spooky this year!! Each day I will be sharing a Halloween project (except on Sundays I don’t post to my blog). I also will have blog candy to give away at the end of this event!! Today's first project is a Halloween Candy Holder I created! Some of you may have already gotten a sneak peak of this project if you took part in The Rubber Redneck STAMPede "Fall Fest" On-line Class. This candy holder uses the stamp set called Toxic Treats from the Holiday Catalog.

Directions~

1. Cut 1 piece of Tangerine Tango card stock 3 1/2" x 8 1/2". Place it onto the Simply Scored horizontally and score at 3" and 3 1/2". Then run the Tangerine Tango card stock through the Big Shot with the Finishing Touches Edgelits to die cut the end of the Tangerine Tango card stock that is on the long side.

2. Cut 1 piece of Basic Black card stock 2 3/4" x 3 1/4". Run it through the Big Shot with the Chevron Embossing Folder. Glue it to the Tangerine Tango card stock on the 3 1/2" area.

3. Cut 1 piece of Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper (Rich Razzleberry Pattern) 2 1/2" x 2 1/2". Glue it to the left side of the Basic Black card stock.

4. Cut 1 piece of Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper (Lucky Limeade Pattern) 3/4" x 3 1/2". Glue it across the Basic Black card stock lining up the edges with the Tangerine Tango card stock.

5. Cut 1 piece of Whisper White card stock 2" x 2 1/4". Take the stamp from the Toxic Treats Stamp Set; ink it in Jet Black Stazon and stamp onto the Whisper White card stock. Then glue it to the Basic Black card stock.

6. Cut 1 piece of Whisper White card stock 1/2" x 3". Take the stamp from the Toxic Treats Stamp Set; ink it in Tangerine Tango and stamp onto the Whisper White card stock. Notch out the right side of the Whisper White card stock. Glue it across the stamped image and add a Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the "Trick or Treat".

7. Fold the Tangerine Tango card stock upwards then use the 1/16 Circle Handheld Punch and punch a hole on each side of the Tangerine Tango card stock. Tie some Lucky Limeade Baker's Twine through the holes creating a pocket. Use the Large Oval Punch to punch a hole at the top in the center and then slide the candy inside.

Mixed Bunch Card

Morning everyone!

I know don't faint I am actually having some time to post to my blog. lol Today I am sharing another fun card using the Mixed Bunch Stamp Set! I created this to play along with a challenge for my Fresh Cuts On-line Class. This color combo works great for summer or fall! Also at the bottom of the post I am sharing something fun I will be doing on my blog for 12 days starting on Monday!

My base is Old Olive card stock. I cut a piece of Real Red and Tangerine Tango card stock. I ran the Tangerine Tango card stock through the Big Shot with the Argyle Embossing Folder. I then used the 3/16 Corner Punch to round the corners on the left side of the Tangerine Tango card stock. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock. I took the stamps from Mixed Bunch Stamp Set; inked them in Daffodil Delight, and Old Olive. I stamped the flowers onto the Whisper White card stock. I glued the Whisper White card stock to the left side of the Tangerine Tango card stock. I then cut 2 different patterns of Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper and glued them onto the Whisper White card stock. I wrapped a piece of 1/2 Scallop Dots Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon around the Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper. I used the side of the ribbon without the dots. I then wrapped some White Baker's Twine around the 1/2 Scallop Dots Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon. I attached all the layers to the front of the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. I punched a piece of Whisper White card stock out with the Decorative Label Punch. I took the stamp from Petite Pairs Stamp Set; inked in Tangerine Tango and stamped onto the center of the Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Mixed Bunch Stamp Set; inked in Daffodil Delight and stamped onto the label around the edges. I attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals then added a Brights Designer Button with White Baker's Twine. I then added some Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the flowers.

I cut a piece of Real Red and Tangerine Tango card stock. I ran the Tangerine Tango card stock through the Big Shot with the Argyle Embossing Folder. I then used the 3/16 Corner Punch to round the corners on the right side of the Tangerine Tango card stock. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock. I then cut 2 different patterns of Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper and glued them onto the Tangerine Tango card stock. I wrapped a piece of 1/2 Scallop Dots Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon around the Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper. I used the side of the ribbon without the dots again. I then wrapped some White Baker's Twine around the 1/2 Scallop Dots Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon. I glued all the layers to the inside of the card.

Scrapbook Saddle Up Friday; 6 x 6 Raining Flowers Page

Happy Friday!

Every Friday I will be hosting the Scrapbook Saddle Up with y'all!! It will feature a scrapbook layout to a scrapbooking album ideas along with tips, techniques and etc!! Today I am sharing a fun 6 x 6 page. This page uses the set called Raining Flowers. I created this to play along with a challenge for my Fresh Cuts On-line Class.

My base is a 6 x 6 piece of Lucky Limeade card stock. I then cut a piece of Melon Mambo card stock. I cut a piece of Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper and glued it to the left side of the Melon Mambo card stock. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock and glued it to the page. I took the stamp from Summer Silhouettes Stamp Set; inked in Lucky Limeade and stamped onto Lucky Limeade card stock. I then used the 1 3/4" Circle Punch to punch out the stamped background. I used the 1 3/8 Circle Punch to punch out 2 circles in Melon Mambo card stock. I then ran them through the Big Shot with the Fancy Fan Embossing Folder. I glued the circles to the Whisper White card stock on the left side alternating them to create a fun border!

Tip~ Use circle punches to create a fun border on your layout. Dress them up by stamping on them or adding texture to them.

I cut a piece of Wisteria Wonder card stock and then punched one side with the Scallop Trim Border Punch. I glued that onto the circles. I cut another piece of Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper and glued that over lapping the punched Wisteria Wonder card stock.

Tip~ Balance out bright colors by adding the same pattern of Designer Series Paper onto the opposite side of the page.

I then wrapped some Lucky Limeade's Baker Twine around the layers of paper on the left side. I took the stamps from Raining Flowers Stamp Set; inked them in Wisteria Wonder and Daffodil Delight. I stamped onto some Whisper White card stock then cut out the flowers and attached them with Stampin' Dimensionals. In the center I added some Jewels Basic Rhinestones.

Betsy's Blossom Thank You Card

Morning everyone!

Today's card I am sharing with you uses the stamp set called Betsy's Blossom. It's a really bright card and perfect for today because it's snowing and raining here. lol We really needed the moisture we had a bit of scare here this week they had a bad fire north east of us about 60 miles from us; it burned 10,000 acres they had to evacuate people and some people lost there homes. I feel really bad for those people. Yesterday afternoon the wind changed and the smoke was so bad here for awhile we thought the fire had changed directions. Of course were we live there is quiet a few state forests around us. I myself have been fortunate to never experience anything like that before gotta say it was a little nerve racking and kind freaked my hubby and I out. They did get the fire contained thanks to all those fire fighters and there hard work. Ok on with my share!

My base is Melon Mambo card stock. I cut a piece of Lucky Limeade card stock and ran it through the Big Shot with the Argyle Embossing Folder. I cut a piece of Tangerine Tango card stock. I took the stamp from Betsy's Blossom Stamp Set; inked in Tangerine Tango and stamped onto the Tangerine Tango card stock. I glued the Tangerine Tango card stock to the left side of the Lucky Limeade card stock. I cut a piece of Floral District Designer Series Paper and glued that to the right side. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Curly Cute Stamp Set; inked in Lucky Limeade and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. I then notched out the tag. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock and another piece of Floral District Designer Series Paper and glued it to the center of the Whisper White card stock. Using the Paper-Piercing Tool, Stampin' Pierce Mat and the Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack I pierced a row of holes down the side of the Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Betsy's Blossom Stamp Set; inked in Melon Mambo and stamped two flowers onto Whisper White card stock. I then inked the flower in Tangerine Tango and stamped onto Whisper White card stock. Using the following Circle Punches; 2 1/2", 1 3/4" 1 3/8" I punched out the flowers. I then layered them together with Stampin' Dimensionals. To finish off the front I added a Brights Designer Button with some Lucky Limeade Baker's Twine. I then added some Jewels Basic Rhinestones to the Floral District Designer Series Paper on the right side.

I cut a piece of Lucky Limeade card stock and ran it through the Big Shot with the Argyle Embossing Folder. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock and glued it to the Lucky Limeade. I cut a piece of Tangerine Tango card stock. I took the stamp from Betsy's Blossom Stamp Set; inked in Tangerine Tango and stamped onto the Tangerine Tango card stock. I cut two different patterns of Floral District Designer Series Paper. I glued all of it to the bottom of the Whisper White card stock. I then wrapped some Lucky Limeade Baker's Twine around the bottom of the layers and glued it all to the inside of the Melon Mambo card.

Day of Gratitude Post-it Note Station Tutorial

Happy Monday morning peeps!

Wow another week went by with new posts :( but I am happy to say we finally finished the outside of my parents garage, got there house power washed, finished up sealing our siding on our house along with getting some of it stained too whoooo hooo!! It was a very loooooonnnnnnnngggggggg week. lol We are very happy to have gotten so much done the list is finally starting to look better. lol Ok enough blabbing about that. Today I am sharing this fun Post-it Note Station I created!! I used it for a color challenge in my Fall Fest On-line Class!! As promised here is the tutorial and directions!

Directions~

1. Cut 1 piece of Early Espresso card stock 4" x 9 3/4". Place it onto the Simply Scored horizontal and score it at 4" and 4 1/2". To see how it folds together please watch the Tutorial Video it'll make more sense then me trying to explain it.

2. Cut 1 piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock 3 3/4" x 4 1/2". Run the Cherry Cobbler card stock through the Big Shot with the Houndstooth Embossing Folder.

3. Cut 1 piece of So Saffron card stock 3" x 4". Take the stamp from Day of Gratitude Stamp Set; ink it in So Saffron and stamp onto the So Saffron card stock. Glue the So Saffron card stock to the Cherry Cobbler card stock. Then glue the layers to the top part of the Early Espresso card stock.

4. Cut 1 piece of Orchard Harvest Designer Series Paper (Lucky Limeade Pattern)  2" x 4" . Glue it across the center of the card stock on the Post-it Note Station. Then wrap some 3/8 So Saffron Taffeta Ribbon around the center of the card stock at the top and tie a bow on the right side.

5.Using the Big Shot and the Window Frames Collection Framelits; die cut a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. Take the stamp from Day of Gratitude Stamp Set; ink it in Early Espresso and stamp onto the center of the window frame. Take the stamp from Day of Gratitude Stamp Set; ink it in Lucky Limeade and stamp onto the right side of the Very Vanilla card stock. Do the technique I call shadow stamping to the leaves. Use the Paper-Piercing Tool, Stampin' Pierce Mat and the Festive Paper-Piercing Pack to add paper piercing around the edges of the Very Vanilla Window Frame. Attach it with 2 Stampin' Dimensionals. Place a Neutrals Designer Button in the center of the bow. Place some Jewels Basic Pearls on the left side of the Very Vanilla Window Frame. Take the stamp from Day of Gratitude Stamp Set; ink it in Cherry Cobbler and stamp 2 leaves onto Very Vanilla card stock. Clean the stamp then ink it in Pumpkin Pie and stamp 2 leaves onto Very Vanilla card stock. Cut the leaves out and attach underneath the button and onto the Post-it Note on the bottom with Stampin' Dimensionals.
