12 Days of Spooky; Day 5 Scrapbook Saddle Up Friday

Every Friday I will be hosting the Scrapbook Saddle Up with y'all!! It will feature a scrapbook layout to a scrapbooking album ideas along with tips, techniques and etc!! Today I am sharing a fun and cute 6 x 6 page! This page uses the set called Seasonal Sayings from the Holiday Catalog! I created this to play along with a challenge for my Fall Fest On-line Class. The class is officially over but you can still purchase the class and get 14 fabulous and cute projects with step by step photos in a downloadble PDF along with Video Tutorials!

My base is a 6 x 6 Basic Black card stock. I then cut a piece of Very Vanilla card stock and punched one side with the Scallop Trim Border Punch. I glued it to the Basic Black card stock on the left side. I cut a piece of Howlstooth & Scaringbone Designer Series Paper and glued it over lapping the Very Vanilla card stock. I cut a piece of So Saffron card stock and glued it across the center of the Basic Black card stock over lapping the Howlstooth & Scraingbone Designer Series Paper. I cut a piece of Basic Black card stock for the photo mat and glued it to the left side of the So Saffron card stock. I wrapped a piece of 1/8 Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon around the bottom of the So Saffron card stock. I used the Big Shot and Apothecary Accents Framelits to die cut out a piece of Very Vanilla card stock creating a label. I took the stamp from Seasonal Sayings Stamp Set; inked in Tangerine Tango and stamped onto the Very Vanilla label. I attached in the bottom right hand corner with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Tip~ If you don't have a picture to put onto your layout right away place the Stampin' Dimensionals onto the back of the label so you can slide your picture underneath later.

I then added a row of Rhinestones Basic Jewels under the Happy Halloween. To balance out the layout I added some more Rhinestone Basic Jewels in the upper right hand corner of the So Saffron card stock. I created a bow out of the 1/8 Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon.

Tip~ By placing the label in the bottom right hand corner you  then have a little journaling spot on the layout.
