Happy Labor Day!!! Postage Due Card Share

Morning everyone!

I hope you all are enjoying the 3 day weekend! On Friday we had to make a trip out of town to get my cruise control fixed. My cruise control got stuck back when I lost my transmission it was  a pretty scary experience and turned out a month later there was a recall on it. Then on saturday had a family emergency so we ended up not getting home until late that night. Yesterday dh and I didn't do a hole lot we were both shot from the week and weekend so we got a day to rest. lol

Today I am sharing another card I created to play along with a color challenge in my Fresh Cuts On-line Class. It uses the stamp set called Postage Due. I love this set a lot.

My base is Marina Mist card stock. I cut a piece of Crumb Cake card stock and ran it through the Big Shot with the Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder. I then used the Brayer; inked in Crumb Cake and rolled it across the Crumb Cake card stock. I cut a piece of First Edition Designer Series Paper and glued it to the left side of the Crumb Cake card stock. I cut a piece of Pretty in Pink card stock ran it through the Big Shot with the Delicate Designer Folders. I then glued it to over lap the Frist Edition Designer Series Paper. I cut a piece of Very Vanilla card stock; sponged the edges with Crumb Cake. I cut a piece of Natural Composition Specialty Paper and glued it to the Very Vanilla card stock. I cut another piece of  Very Vanilla card stock. I took the stamp from Postage Due Stamp Set; inked in Marina Mist and stamped onto the Very Vanilla card stock. I sponged the edges with Crumb Cake ink. I then glued it to the layers of paper. I cut a piece of 5/8 Victoria Crochet Trim and wrapped it around the card stock. I glued the layers of card stock to the front of the Marina Mist card. I cut another piece of 5/8 Victoria Crochet Trim and made a loop. I attached to the other piece of ribbon. I then took the stamp from Postage Due Stamp Set; inked in Pretty in Pink and stamped it onto Very Vanilla card stock. I punched it out with the Postage Stamp Punch and attached to the front of the card with a Stampin' Dimensional. I then added some Jewels Basic Pearls to finish it off.
