Betsy's Blossom Card

Yep I know can you believe I am posting?? Were still working away here on projects and the list is still pretty long. I am happy to say all of our firewood is cut and stacked! Woo hoo now I will be warm this winter. lol I've missed blogging and chatting with all my stamp friends. Hopefully now I can keep up with my blog again in between everything. lol

Today I am sharing a card I created to play along with a color challenge in my Fresh Cuts On-line Class. It uses the set called Betsy's Blossom. Love this set!

My base is Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of Island Indigo card stock then took the stamp from Betsy's Blossom Stamp Set; inked in Island Indigo and stamped onto the Island Indigo card stock. I cut a piece of Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper (Real Red) and glued that to the Island Indigo card stock. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Sweet Essentials Stamp Set; inked in Island Indigo and stamped in the bottom right hand corner of the Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Betsy's Blossom Stamp Set; inked in Daffodil Delight and stamped all over the Whisper White card stock. I then glued the Whisper White card stock to the Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper.

I cut two different patterns of the Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper and glued them down the left side over lapping the Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of 1/4 Real Red Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon and wrapped it around the Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper. I placed Stampin' Dimensonals onto the back of the Island Indigo card stock and attached to the front of the Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Betsy's Blossom Stamp Set; inked in Real Red and stamped 3 flowers onto Whisper White card stock. I cut each flower out and added a Jewels Basic Rhinestone to the center of the flowers. I then attached the flowers to the front of the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. To finish off the card I added a bow made from the 1/4 Real Red Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon and a Neutrals Designer Button in the center of the bow.

I cut two different patterns of the Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper and glued them down the left side of the Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of 1/4 Real Red Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon and placed Glue Dots on each end of the ribbon and attached to the Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper.
