CRU #76; using Betsy's Blossom

Morning everyone!

I am posting this a day late this week. We had a pretty busy day yesterday and we started it off by over sleeping. lol Today's card is a fun simple birthday card. It uses the set called Betsy's Blossom. This is a new set out of the catalog.

Every Wednesday I will be posting a new Color Round Up Color Challenge!!! All color challenges will be based on Stampin' Up! color families. I am a Stampin' Up! Demo so all my samples will only use SU product.

My base is Pool Party card stock. I took the Distressed Dots Background Stamp; inked in Pool Party and stamped onto the Pool Party card stock. I cut a piece of Rich Razzleberry, Lucky Limeade and Whisper White card stock. I took the stamps form Betsy's Blossom Stamp Set; inked them in Rich Razzleberry, Pool Party and Lucky Limeade. I stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of Pool Party card stock then punched it with the Scallop Trim Border Punch. I glued it to the Whisper White card stock. I then wrapped Pool Party Baker's Twine around the layers of card stock. I glued the Rich Razzleberry to the front of the Pool Party card. I used the Big Shot and Apothecary Accents Framelits to die cut out a piece of Soft Suede card stock. I then used the Paper-Piercing Tool, Stampin' Pierce Mat and the Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack to pierce holes around the Soft Suede Label. I took the stamp from Petite Pairs Stamp Set; inked in Soft Suede and stamped onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. I punched it out with the Large Oval Punch and then glued it to the Soft Suede label. I attached it to the card front with a Stampin' Dimensional. I then added some Jewels Basic Rhinestones, Brights Designer Button  and a bow made from the Pool Party Baker's Twine.

Today I am sharing a fun cute little card! I recently got the Bootiful Occasions Stamp Set!! It is definitely a set that you need!! I love it! You can purchase this set through me or through my online store!

My base is Lucky Limeade card stock. I cut a piece of Whisper White and Pacific Point card stock. I used the Paper-Piercing Tool, Stampin Pierce Mat and Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack to pierce a row of holes across the bottom of the Pacific Point card stock. I glued the Pacific Point card stock to the left side of the Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of Incolor 2011-2013 Designer Series Paper Stack (Lucky Limeade color) and a piece of Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper (Real Red).

I wrapped a piece of 1/4 Pacific Point Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon around the layers of card stock. I placed Stampin' Dimensionals onto the back of the Whisper White card stock and attached to the Lucky Limeade card stock. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Bootiful Occasions Stamp Set; inked in Lucky Limeade and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. I then used the Real Red Stampin' Write Marker to outline the clouds on the boot. I then placed Stampin' Dimensionals onto the back of the Whisper White card stock and attached to the front of the card. To finish it off I added some Jewels Basic Rhinestones.

The Open Sea Card

Morning everyone!

I hope you all had a great weekend! Dh is on vacation this week so we have a busy week ahead of us a lot of projects that we hope to get finished! Today I am sharing a card I created to play along with a color challenge for my Summer Fun On-line Class. This card uses the set called The Open Sea.

My base is Baja Breeze card stock. I cut a piece of Chocolate Chip and More Mustard card stock. I used the 3/16 Corner Punch to round the two corners on the right side. I then ran the More Mustard card stock through the Big Shot with the Houndstooth Embossing Folder. I cut a piece of Crumb Cake card stock. I took the stamp from The Open Sea Stamp Set; inked in Crumb Cake and stamped onto the Crumb Cake card stock. I took the stamp from Family Reunion Stamp Set; inked in Chocolate Chip and stamped in the bottom right hand corner of the Crumb Cake card stock. I glued the 3 pieces of card stock together. I then cut a piece of First Edition Designer Series Paper and a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I notched out one end to create a banner and then glued them to the Crumb Cake card stock.

I cut a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I took the stamp from The Open Sea Stamp Set; inked in Baja Breeze and stamped onto the Very Vanilla card stock. I glued the Very Vanilla card stock to the layers and then set 3 Regals Brads down the right side of the Crumb Cake card stock. I then wraped some Linen Thread around the card stock layers on the left side and added a Neutrals Designer Button. I placed Stampin' Dimensionals onto the back of the Chocolate Chip card stock and attached to the Baja Breeze card front.

Another Mixed Bunch Card

My base is Not Quite Navy card stock. I took the Distressed Background Stamp; inked in Not Quite Navy and stamped onto the Not Quite Navy card front. I cut a piece of Pink Pirouette and Old Olive card stock. I ran the Old Olive card stock through the Big Shot with the Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder. I glued these two pieces together. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Mixed Bunch Stamp Set; inked in Pink Pirouette and stamped all over the Whisper White card stock. I used the 3/16 Corner Punch in the upper right hand corner to round the Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Curly Cute Stamp Set; inked in Not Quite Navy and stamped it in the upper right hand corner. I used the Paper-Piercing Tool, Stampin' Pierce Mat and Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack to add a row of pierced holes across the bottom.

I glued the Whisper White card stock to the Old Olive. I cut a piece of Not Quite Navy card stock; punched with the Scallop Trim Border Punch. I glued that across the card stock. I then wrapped some 1/2 Old Olive Scallop Dots ribbon just below the punched Not Quite Navy card stock. I attached all the layers to the front of the Not Quite Navy card stock with Stampin' Dimensionals. I used the Blossom Punch to punch out a piece of Pink Pirouette card stock. I attached that with Stampin' Dimensionals. I took the stamp from Mixed Bunch Stamp Set; inked in Not Quite Navy and stamped onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. I then cut out the flower and attached it to the other flower with Stampin' Dimensionals. In the center I added a Brights Designer Button and some Jewels Basic Rhinestones.

On the inside I cut a piece of Pink Pirouette, Old Olive and Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Mixed Bunch Stamp Set; inked in Pink Pirouette and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock across the bottom and right side. I cut a piece of Not Quite Navy card stock and punched it out with the Scallop Trim Border Punch. I then wrapped some 1/2 Old Olive Scallop Dots ribbon around the card stock. I then glued everything to the inside of the card.

 My base is Crumb Cake card stock. I then cut a piece of Whisper White card stock. I used the Stampin' Pierce Mat, Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack and Paper-Piercing Tool to add a row of pierced holes down the left side. I cut a piece of Subtles Pattern Designer Series Paper Stack (Bashful Blue) for the center of the Whisper White card stock. I then cut a piece of Wild Wasabi, Bashful Blue and Brights Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack (Tangerine Tango). I took the Distressed Dots Background Stamp inked in Bashful Blue and stamped it onto the Bashful Blue card stock. I ran the Wild Wasabi card stock through the Big Shot with the Houndstooth Embossing Folder. I then placed each strip on the left side of the Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of Crumb Cake and Whisper White card stock.

I took the stamp from the Thoughts and Prayers Stamp Set; inked in Wild Wasabi and stamped it onto the Whisper White card stock. I then wrapped some Linen Thread around all the layers of the card stock. I took the stamp from Family Reunion Stamp Set; inked in Tangerine Tango and stamped it onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. I cut it into a banner then popped it up with Stampin' Dimensionals on the card front.

Fabulous Florets Card and Video Tutorial

Hello all!

My other announcement is I have stepped down from the challenges over on Stampin' Addicts Site. Lately it's been a real challenge for me to try to find the time for the challenges. My father's health is declining so between our business and helping with my parents farm I don't get too much time to stamp. Right now I am putting the Monday 3D Challenges on my blog on hold for the summer as well. I will try to post video's here and there as my time allows me too. My base is Calypso Coral card stock. I cut a piece of Lucky Limeade card stock and ran it through the Big Shot with the Houndstooth Embossing Folder. I cut a piece of Soft Suede card stock and ran that through the Big Shot with the Flower Garden Embossing Folder. I cut a piece of First Edition Designer Series Paper. I took the stamp from Fabulous Florets Stamp Set; inked in Lucky Limeade and stamped onto the First Edition Designer Series Paper. I took the stamp from Family Reunion Stamp Set; inked in Lucky Limeade and stamped onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I punched it out using the Decorative Label Punch. I then glued it to the back side of the First Edition Designer Series Paper. I took the stamp from Fabulous Florets Stamp Set; inked in Calypso Coral and stamped onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I did two of them and cut each flower out. I then attached the with Stampin' Dimensionals. I wrapped some 3/8 Soft Suede Taffeta Ribbon and 1/8 Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon around the card stock. I then placed Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of the Lucky Limeade card stock and attach to the front of the card. To finish the front off I added some Jewels Basic Rhinestones to the flowers.

I cut a piece of Lucky Limeade card stock and ran it through the Big Shot with the Houndstooth Embossing Folder. I cut a piece of Soft Suede card stock and ran that through the Big Shot with the Flower Garden Embossing Folder. I cut a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I took the stamp from Fabulous Florets Stamp Set; inked in Calypso Coral and stamped it down the left side of the Very Vanilla card stock. I cut a piece of First Edition Designer Series Paper for across the bottom.
