My base is Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of Early Espresso card stock next. I cut two pieces of Frostwood Designer Series Paper in different patterns. I cut a piece of Early Espresso and Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Plant Hope Stamp Set; inked in Early Espresso and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. I cut another piece of Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Four the Holidays Stamp Set; inked in Early Espresso and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. Using the 3/16 Corner Punch I rounded the two corners on the left side. I snailed it to the back of the Early Espresso card stock. I wrapped a piece of Early Espresso/White Bakers Twine around the bottom. I then added 3 Neutrals brads on the bottom and pierced a row of holes down the right side towards the top. I then snailed the layers to the Early Espresso card stock on the front of the card.

I kept the inside real simple I took the stamp from Plant Hope Stamp Set; inked in Early Espresso and stamped on the bottom right hand corner.

Scrapbook Saddle Up Friday; 8 x 8 Christmas Page

Morning everyone!

Every Friday I will be hosting the Scrapbook Saddle Up with y'all!! It will feature a scrapbook layout to a scrapbooking album ideas along with tips, techniques and etc!!Today I am sharing a 8 x 8 Page layout. I made this to play along with a Color Challenge for my Winter Wonderland On-line Class.

This is a supper fast idea and sketch to recreate. You could easily adapt it for any time of the year or event! The base is Wild Wasabi card stock. I took the Distressed Dots Background Stamp; inked it in Wild Wasabi and stamped it down the left side of the Wild Wasabi card stock. I cut a piece of Real Red card stock and snailed it to the left side of the page. I cut a piece of Glimmer Paper Silver; using the 3/16 Corner Punch I rounded the two corners on the left side.

Tip~ Added some shine to your layout by simply using some Glimmer Paper.

I cut a piece of Blushing Bride card stock. I took the stamp from Delightful Decorations Stamp Set; inked in Blushing Bride and stamped onto the Blushing Bride card stock. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock for the Photo Mat. I took the stamps from Delightful Decorations Stamp Set; inked them in Real Red and stamped onto some Whisper White card stock. I set one Glimmer Brad In Color through the ornament. I then cut out the images and attached some 1/4 Garden Green Grosgrain Ribbon. I then hung the ornaments down the right side of the page.I added two Glimmer Brads In Color on the left side of the page.

Tip~ I wanted my page to have hanging ornaments on it the  Delightful Decorations Stamp Set is perfect to achieve this look!

Come to Bethlehem Card 2

Morning everyone!

Sorry I didn't get the Color Round Up challenge posted yesterday. It's been a busy week here running my dad around to all of his doc. appointments and taking care of things at there farm haven't had too much time to stamp. Dad is doing really good, they took the stitches out this week. Thanks for the emails and support we appreciate it! I still have a few Christmas things to share with you all. Today's card is another card I created to play along with a color challenge for my last On-line Class Winter Wonderland.

My base is Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of Bravo Burgundy and Crumb Cake card stock. I ran the Crumb Cake card stock through the Big Shot with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. I cut a piece of Regals Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack (Bravo Burgundy). I wrapped a piece of 5/8 Whisper White Organza Ribbon around the center of the paper. I then took 1/2 Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding and ruffled it and placed it above the 5/8 Whisper White Organza Ribbon. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Come to Bethlehem Stamp Set; inked in Crumb Cake and stamped it onto the Whisper White card stock. I applied the Multipurpose Glue and poured Glass Stampin' Glitter Champagne over the bottom of the Whisper White card stock. I finished it off with a bow and some Jewels Basic Pearls.

On the inside I took the stamp from Come to Bethlehem Stamp Set; inked in Crumb Cake and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. I then cut a piece of Regals Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack (Bravo Burgundy) and snailed it to the bottom of the Whisper White card stock.

Season of Joy Card

Morning everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!! Normally today is Monday's 3D Challenge but we took off for the month of Dec over on Stampin' Addicts so today instead I have one of my favorite cards I made this year! The challenges will be back in January!! I created this to play along with a color challenge for my last On-line class!! My base is Poppy Parade card stock. I cut a piece of Pear Pizzazz card stock; ran it through the Big Shot with the Snow Burst Embossing Folder. I cut a piece of Early Espresso and Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Four the Holidays Stamp Set; inked in Early Espresso and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. I used the 3/16 Corner Punch to round the bottom corners. I then a  piece of Pocketful of Posies Designer Series Paper. I cut a piece of Daffodil Delight card stock and punched one side out with the Scallop Trim Border Punch. I cut a piece of Early Espresso card stock and a piece of Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Season of Joy Stamp Set; inked in Pear Pizzazz and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. I punched a piece of Poppy Parade card stock out with the Curly Label Punch. Using the Mat Pack and Paper Piercing Tool I pierced 3 holes into the Curly Label Punch. I wrapped some Baker's Twine around the bottom twice. I placed Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of the Pear Pizzazz card stock and attached to the front of the Poppy Parade card.  To finish off the front I tied a bow through a Brights Designer Button and added some Jewels Basic Rhinestones.

My base is Early Espresso card stock. I cut a piece of More Mustard card stock. I took the Wonderfully Worn Background Stamp; inked in More Mustard and stamped onto the More Mustard card stock. I sponged the edges with More Mustard Ink. I cut a pice of Pool Party card stock and ran it through the Big Shot with the Petals-A-Plenty Embossing Folder. I cut a piece of Spice Cake Designer Series Paper. I cut a piece of Early Espresso card stock; punched one side out with the Scallop Trim Border Punch. I wrapped a piece of 3/8 Twill Tape around the center. I cut a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I took the Dasher Stamp; inked in More Mustard and stamped onto the Very Vanilla card stock. I took the Noel Stamp from Many Merry Messages Stamp Set; inked in Pool Party and stamped across the bottom of the Very Vanilla card stock. I punched a piece of More Mustard card stock out with the Curly Label Punch and snailed it to the back of the Very Vanilla card stock. I placed Stampin' Dimensionals onto the back and attached to the center of the card. I colored some Jewels Basic Pearls with a Sponged Dauber and added them to the card front.

This little page could be used for Christmas or anything in December. You could also turn this into a Progressive Scrapbook Page. The base is Real Red card stock. I cut a piece of Wild Wasabi card stock. I took the stamp from Serene Snowflakes Stamp Set; inked it in Wild Wasabi and stamped onto the Wild Wasabi card stock. I cut a piece of Early Espresso card stock and placed it in the center towards the top of the Wild Wasabi card stock. I punched a piece of Very Vanilla card stock out with the Curly Label Punch. I then slid that under the Early Espresso card stock towards the bottom on the right side. I used the Stampin' Write Marker Wild Wasabi and wrote the year on the tag.

Tip~ Covering most of your card stock with another piece then just stamp along the edges.

I cut a piece of Glimmer Paper Red a little smaller in length than the piece of Early Espresso card stock. I punched one side out with the Scallop Trim Border Punch. I glued it to the Wild Wasabi card stock towards the bottom. I cut a piece of Holly Berry Designer Series Paper, I slightly over lapped the Early Espresso card stock and the Glimmer Paper Red. I then wrapped a piece of 3/8 So Saffron Taffeta Ribbon around the top of the Holly Berry Designer Series Paper. To create the Poinsettia I used the 5-Petal Flower Punch. I punched the flower out in Wild Wasabi card stock. I cut 3 leaves out of the flower. I then punched 2 flowers out in Glimmer Paper Red. I offset the flowers and then added the green petals to the right side. I popped it up with Stampin' Dimensionals. I added a Subtles Designer Button to the center of the flower.

Another card using The Sounding Joy

Morning everyone!

Thanks for your emails  and prayers about my dad. I really appreciate it!! It was a pretty long day yesterday and things didn't go good. They ended up having to basically almost do the entire surgery over that they had done back in January. My dad had a lot of pain afterwards. I did get to bring him home late yesterday so hopefully the worst of this is behind us.

Today I am sharing another card made using The Sounding Joy Stamp Set. I made this card to play along in a color challenge for my last on-line class Winter Wonderland. Earlier in this week I also upload some more stuff for sale in my Etsy Store. You can visit it HERE.

My base is Early Espresso card stock. I cut a piece of Marina Mist card stock ran it through the Big Shot with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. I cut a piece of Old Olive card stock and punched one side with the Eyelet Border Punch. I cut a piece of Letters to Santa Designer Series Paper. I used the Bone Folder to distress the edges slightly. I sponged the edges with Early Espresso ink and then snailed it to the Marina Mist card stock. I cut a piece of Early Espresso card stock, snailed it to the center of the Marina Mist card stock butting up the edge with the Letters to Santa Designer Series Paper. I wrapped some 5/8 Old Olive Satin Ribbon around the center and created a ruffle on the left side with it. I wrapped a piece of 1/8 Early Espresso Taffeta in the center of the 5/8 Old Olive Satin Ribbon. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock. I took the stamps from The Sounding Joy Stamp Set; inked them in Old Olive and Early Espresso and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. I used the Bone Folder to distress the edges on the Whisper White card stock. I sponged the edges with Early Espresso ink and placed Stampin' Dimensionals on the back then attached to the center of the card. I added some Jewels Basic Pearls to the card and a bow made from the 1/8 Early Espresso Taffeta Ribbon.

I cut a piece of Old Olive card stock; punched one side out with the Eyelet Border Punch. I cut a piece of Letters to Santa Designer Series Paper and sponged the edges with Early Espresso. I wrapped a piece of 1/8 Early Espresso Taffeta Ribbon around the Old Olive and Letters to Santa Designer Series Paper.

Color Round Up #57 using The Sounding Joy

Morning everyone!

This week isn't going like what I planned at all or for my parents. lol Today I am taking my dad in for in/out patient for surgery. They are going to fix some stuff from the last surgery he had in January. Hopefully this will take care of the problems. This was unexpected and not planned for at all; so the card I am using for this weeks color round up some of you may have already seen! lol I didn't want to not post this weeks color challenge. My new moto is just roll with the flow. lol

Every Wednesday I will be posting a new Color Round Up Color Challenge!!! All color challenges will be based on Stampin' Up! color families. I am a Stampin' Up! Demo so all my samples will only use SU product.

My base is Cherry Cobbler card stock. I cut a piece of Wild Wasabi card stock. I took the stamp from Season of Joy Stamp Set; I inked it in Very Vanilla Craft and stamped randomly all over the Wild Wasabi card stock. I cut a piece of Crumb Cake card stock; ran it through the Big Shot with the Snow Burst Embossing Folder. I then wrapped a piece of 3/8 Early Espresso Quilted Satin Ribbon around the center. Using the Big Shot and the 3" Cirlce Die; I die cut out a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I took the stamp from The Sounding Joy Stamp Set; inked in Wild Wasabi and stamped onto the Very Vanilla circle. I then placed Stampin' Dimensionals on the back and attached to the center of the Crumb Cake card stock.I took the stamp from Season of Joy Stamp Set; inked in Cherry Cobbler and stamped onto some Very Vanilla card stock. I cut 3 flowers out; then placed Stampin' Dimensionals on the back and placed then around the circle. I then added a bow from the 3/8 Early Espresso Quilted Satin Ribbon. I placed a Holly Berry Bouquet Designer Button to the center and some Jewels Basic Pearls. I placed Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of the Wild Wasabi card stock and attached to the Cherry Cobbler card stock.
