I made this Mini Peppermint Holder for Stampin' Addicts Monday 3D Challenge. If you never been check it out, it is geared towards Stampin' Up! if your a demo be sure to sign up for the demo forums and then give a shout out to me catrules!! I got this idea when I made the Hot Cider Packet HERE. I didn't want to waste the part of envelope I cut off for that project. So you get 2 gifts from one envelope!! How awesome is that!

Directions~

1. You will need to cut 1 end off of a Medium Size envelope so it is 1 3/4" wide. Seal the flap then score it at 2", 2 1/2". Fold on the scored lines and this creates little pockets. Slide the mini peppermints into the little pockets. Wrap a piece of 3/8 So Saffron Taffeta Ribbon around the envelope part in the center.

2. Cut 1 piece of Always Artichoke card stock 1 1/2" x 1 1/2".

3. Cut 1 piece of Very Vanilla card stock 1 1/4" x 1 1/4". Take the stamp from Serene Snowflakes Stamp Set; ink it in Bravo Burgundy and stamp onto the Very Vanilla card stock. Run some Multipurpose Glue around the edge of the Very Vanilla card stock; the pour Glass Stampin' Glitter Champagne over the Glue. Tap off the excess Glass Glitter. Snail to the Always Aritchoke card stock. Place Stampin' Dimensionals on the back and attach to the front of the Envelope. Take the stamp from Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set; ink it in Always Artichoke and stamp onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. Cut it into a banner and sponge the edges with Crumb Cake ink. Place Stampin' Dimensionals on the back and attach to Very Vanilla card stock.

Wow it's Friday already this week sure flew by! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!! We did and ate way to much food! Welcome to my Scrapbook Saddle up Friday! Every Friday I will be hosting the Scrapbook Saddle Up with y'all!! It will feature a scrapbook layout to a scrapbooking album ideas along with tips, techniques and etc!!Today I am sharing Part 2 of a Mini Scrapbook Album that I created for Stampin' Addicts Scrapbook Challenge. In the second part of this I am gonna cover the pull out pages. Here is page 1!! Mini Albums are fantastic to highlight a certain event!!! They make fantastic gifts too!!!

1. Cut 1 piece of Early Espresso card stock 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".

2. Cut 1 piece of Whisper White card stock. Take the Wonderfully Worn Background Stamp; ink it in Early Espresso and stamp onto the Whisper White card stock.Take the stamps from Gently Falling Stamp Set; ink them in Old Olive and Tangerine Tango and stamp around  the edges of the Whisper White card stock.

3. Cut 1 piece of Spice Cake Designer Series Paper 1" x 3 3/4" glue it to the Whisper White card stock.

4. Cut 1 piece of Old Olive card stock 3 1/4" x 3 1/2". Glue it to the Whisper White card stock. Wrap a piece of 1/2 Tangerine Tango Scallop Dots Ribbon around the Whisper White card stock. Leave a little of the Old Olive card stock showing on the bottom. Using the Curly Label Punch; I punched a piece of More Mustard card stock out. I pierced 3 holes into the Curly Label Punch; then glued it to the back of the Whisper White card stock. I then glued the Whisper White card stock to the Early Espresso card stock. I added 3 Neutrals Brads to the layout.

Tip~ add a little paper piecing to the layout to dress it up a little more. This is a very inexpensive thing to do and makes wonderful use of your tools that you have on hand already!

Tip~ I love the 1/2 Scallop Dots Ribbon because it has 2 sides to it to use so your getting 2 ribbons for the price of one!!

My base is Rich Razzleberry card stock. I then ran a piece of Pear Pizzazz card stock through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. I sponged the edges with Pear Pizzazz ink. I cut a piece of Chocolate Chip and Peach Parfait card stock. I punched one side of the Peach Parfait card stock with the Scallop Trim Border Punch. I then inked the Bright Blessings Jumbo Wheel in Peach Parfait and ran it across the Peach Parfait card stock.  I cut a piece of Rich Razzleberry and Very Vanilla card stock. I took the Bright Blessings Jumbo Wheel; inked in Peach Parfait and wheeled it across the Very Vanilla card stock. I took the stamps from Falling Leaves Stamp Set; inked them in the following Pear Pizzazz and Rich Razzleberry. I stamped onto the Very Vanilla card stock. I then wrapped a piece of 1/2 Chocolate Chip Scallop Dots Ribbon around the bottom. I placed Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of the Pear Pizzazz card stock and attached to the Rich Razzleberry card. To finish it off I added a bow from the 1/2 Chocolate Chip Scallop Dots Ribbon and added some Jewels Basic Pearls to the card.

Directions~

1. Cut 1 piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock 3 3/4" x 6 1/4" Place the card stock horizontal onto the Simply Scored and score at 2 3/4" and 3 1/2" Now you will have a part in the center scored in that scored area you will need to cut a slit on each end 1/2"  in on both ends up to the scored lines. Take the stamp from Winter Post Stamp Set; ink it in Cherry Cobbler and stamp all over the Cherry Cobbler card stock. Slide the Candy Cane in through the slits. Wrap a piece of 1/4 Whisper White Grosgrain and Cherry Cobbler/White Baker's Twine around the holder and tie closed.

2. Cut 1 piece of Marina Mist card stock 2 1/2" x 3 1/2". Run the card stock through the Big Shot with the Perfect Details Texturz Plate.

3. Cut 1 piece of Frostwood Lodge Designer Series Paper 13/4" x  2 1/4". Snail to the bottom of the Marina Mist card stock.

4. Cut 1 piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock 1 3/4" x 2 3/4". Take the stamp from Winter Post Stamp Set; ink it in Cherry Cobbler and stamp onto the Cherry Cobbler card stock. Snail to the center of the Marina Mist card stock. Take the stamp from Grateful Greetings Stamp Set; ink it in Marina Mist and stamp onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. Punch out the saying with the Decorative Label Punch. Snail to the Cherry Cobbler card stock. Wrap some Cherry Cobbler/ White Baker's Twine around the saying and layers of card stock. Place Stampin' Dimensionals on the back and attach to the Cherry Cobbler Candy Holder. To finish it off add a Mini Library Clip and a Jewels Basic Rhinestone.

This week is my turn for the challenges!! Directions~

1. Cut the top off 1 Medium Size Envelope you want it to measure 3 3/4" Wide. Take the Wonderfully Worn Background Stamp; ink it in Early Espresso and stamp onto a Whisper White Envelope. Take the stamps from Gently Falling Stamp Set; ink them in Old Olive and Tangerine Tango and stamp around the edges.

2. Cut 1 piece of Old Olive card stock 1" x 5 1/2". Take the stamp from Gently Falling Stamp Set; ink it in Old Olive and stamp onto the Old Olive card stock. Snail the Old Olive card stock to the envelope.

3. Cut 1 piece of Whisper White card stock 3/4" x 2 3/4". Take the Wonderfully Worn Background Stamp; ink it in Early Espresso and stamp onto the Whisper White card stock. Take the stamp from Always Thankful Stamp Set; ink it in Tangerine Tango and stamp onto the Whisper White card stock. Use the 3/16 Corner Punch to round the top corners. Snail the Whisper White card stock to the Old Olive card stock. Take the Mat Pack and Paper-Piercing Tool to pierce holes around the side of the Whisper White card stock and a row across the Old Olive card stock.

4. Cut 1 piece of Spice Cake Designer Series Paper 1" x 5 3/4". Snail it to the bottom of the envelope.

5. Cut 1 piece of Tangerine Tango card stock 1/2" x 5 1/2". Use the Scallop Trim Border Punch to punch one side out. Snail it to the Spice Cake Designer Paper. Wrap a piece of 1/4 Whisper White Grosgrain Ribbon around the envelope above the Tangerine Tango card stock and tie a know. Add 1 Neutrals Designer Button to the envelope.

My base is Very Vanilla card stock. I took the Wonderfully Worn Background Stamp; inked in More Mustard and stamped onto the Very Vanilla card stock. I took the stamp from Gently Falling Stamp Set; inked in Pool Party and stamped around the edges. I sponged the edge with Soft Suede ink. I cut another piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I took the stamps from Gently Falling Stamp Set; inked them in More Mustard and Pool Party and stamped on the left side. I used the 3/16 Corner Punch and rounded the two corners on the right side. I took the stamp from Curly Cute Stamp Set; inked in Soft Suede and stamped in the bottom right hand corner. I sponged the edges with Soft Suede ink. I wrapped a piece of 3/8 Soft Suede Taffeta Ribbon around the left side. I added some Jewels Basic Rhinestones on the right side then placed Stampin' Dimensionals on the back and attached to the front of the card.

My base is Soft Suede card stock. I cut a piece of Cajun Craze card stock and used the Bone Folder to distress the edges. I cut a piece of Crumb Cake card stock; ran it through the Big Shot with the Perfect Details Texture Plate. I then used the Brayer and the Soft Suede ink pad and applied ink to the embossed card stock. Using the Big Shot and the Scallop Square Die; I die cut out a Scallop Square in Always Artichoke. I took the stamp from Gently Falling Stamp Set; inked in Always Artichoke and stamped all over the Scallop Square. I took the Mat Pack and Paper-Piercing Tool and punched holes into each scallop. I cut a piece of Crumb Cake card stock. I took the Brayer and Soft Suede Ink Pad and lightly brayered over the card stock. I cut a piece of Very Vanilla card stock and ran it through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. I used the Brayer and Soft Suede ink pad to brayer over the embossed Very Vanilla card stock. I used the Bone Folder again to distress the edges and then sponged the edges with Cajun Craze ink.

Using the Big Shot an d the Designer Frames Embossing Folder I embossed a piece of Crumb Cake card stock. I cut out the embossed image. I took the stamp from Grateful Greetings Stamp Set; inked in Soft Suede and stamped onto the embossed frame. I cut a piece of Soft Suede card stock; punched one side out with the Scallop Trim Border Punch. I took the stamp from Gently Falling Stamp Set; inked in Always Artichoke and stamped onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I then inked it in Cajun Craze and stamped onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I cut both leaves out; attached then to the Very Vanilla card stock. I set one Metallic Brad through the embossed designer frame. I then wrapped Natural Hemp Twine around the bottom. I pierced a row of holes below the Very Vanilla card stock. I place Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of the scallop square and attached it to the Cajun Craze card stock. I added a bow of Natural Hemp Twine and a Designer Button Neutrals.
