Directions~

1. Cut 6 3/4" x 5" Spice Cake Designer Series Paper. Stack the DSP on-top of each other and using the Crop-a-Dile punch holes on each end of the Spice Cake Designer Series Paper. Run some 3/8 Soft Suede Taffeta Ribbon through the holes, pull the ribbon as tight as you would like. Tie double knots on each end of the 3/8 Soft Suede Taffeta Ribbon. Pull the Spice Cake DSP apart to make a pumpkin shape.

2. Die Cut 2 Leaves out using the Big Shot and the Leaves #2 Die. I die cut mine out of Pool Party and More Mustard card stock. I then ran the leaves through the Big Shot with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. I sponged the edges with Soft Suede ink and sponged the embossed card stock with Soft Suede ink. I then applied glue with the 2-way Glue Pen to the raised embossed card stock. I poured Dazzling Diamonds over the leaves and tapped off the excess. I then attached the leaves to the Pumpkin with Glue Dots.

3. Cut 1 piece of Very Vanilla card stock 1/4" x 4". Then cut the piece in half length wise. Sponge the edges with Soft Suede ink. Use the Bone Folder to create the curls. Then attach under the leaves for the little vines on the pumpkin.

I started out with the Great Day Simply Sent Kit. The card stock is already prescored and they have the circles and flowers already on the front of the card for you!! I took the self adhesive accents, placed some Stampin' Dimensionals on the back and attached to the card over the circles that were there already!! I added the self adhesive accent on the bottom but made sure to leave some room so I could stamp. I then tied the ribbon that comes in the kit around the card. I added one of the Whisper White small flowers to one of the accents.

Stepping up the card~

1. I took the stamp from Circle Circus Stamp Set; inked in Rose Red and stamped it onto Whisper White card stock. I cut it out and attached to the front of the card with a Stampin' Dimensional. I then added a Jewels Basic Rhinestone to the center.

2. I took the stamp from Curly Cute Stamp Set; inked in Old Olive and stamped on the bottom right hand corner. I then added a Jewels Basic Rhinestone behind the thank you.

This card took me less than 5 min to put together!!!

Scrapbook Saddle Up Friday; 6 x 6 Halloween Page

Happy Friday!!

Wow 2 posts in a roll I know don't faint! lol Yesterday I worked at my parents farm all day and I got to paint T-posts again, that beautiful John Deer Green color too. lol I will highly recommend not painting when it's supper windy out!! lol

Every Friday I will be hosting the Scrapbook Saddle Up with y'all!! It will feature a scrapbook layout to a scrapbooking album ideas along with tips, techniques and etc!! Some of you may have already got to see this page!! I made this for a color challenge in my Fall Fest On-line Class!! Quiet a few people said they didn't like the Frightful Sight Designer Series Paper to me so I took that as a challenge!! lol I gotta say I really like the paper a lot!!!

Stampin' Up! Supplies to create this project!!!

Scaredy Cat Clear Stamp Set item #122655

Netting Background Stamp Set item #122655
Frightful Sight DSP item #122351
Scallop Edge Border Punch item #119882
1/8 Basic Black Taffeta Ribbon item #119959
Designer Buttons Neutrals item #119743
Mat Pack item #105826
Paper-Piercing Tool item #116631

DSC06920

My base is a piece of Cajun Craze card stock cut 6" x 6". I cut a piece of Basic Gray card stock. I took the Netting Background Stamp; inked in Basic Gray and stamped onto the Basic Gray card stock. The Netting Background Stamp looks great for Halloween; it kinda looks like a web!!! I took the stamp from Scaredy Cat Stamp Set; inked in Cajun Craze and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock.

Tip~ This set really works better when using the Stamp-a-ma-jig.

I snailed it to the Basic Gray card stock, then cut a piece of Cajun Craze card stock for my photo mat. I cut a piece of Basic Black card stock punched one side with the Scallop Edge Border Punch. I then took the Mat Pack and Paper-Piercing Tool and punched holes in each scallop. I cut a piece of Frightful Sight DSP. I then wrapped a piece of 1/8 Basic Black Taffeta Ribbon around the DSP and added a Designer Button Neutrals to the left of the page. I also tied a piece of 1/8 Taffeta Ribbon through the button.

Tip~ I didn't do a lot to this page overall, when scrapbooking it's the little details that added the wow effect overall. For example just by pricing holes through each scallop it dresses the page up a lot. Add a button to the page, tie some ribbon through to finish it off.

It's a very simple page to create, not into Halloween simply change out the colors and stamps to suit your need!!

Supplies Used~
Stamps~ Scaredy Cat, Netting Background Stamp
Ink~ Basic Gray, Cajun Craze
Paper~ Cajun Craze, Basic Gray, Basic Black, Whisper White, Frightful Sight DSP
Acc.~ Scallop Edge Border Punch, 1/8 Basic Black Taffeta, Neutrals Designer Buttons, Mat Pack, Paper Piercing Tool, Glue Dots

Directions~
1. Using the Big Shot and the Petal Cone Die; die cut out 1 petal cone in Basic Black card stock. Then trim off the 1/4" flap on one side and cut down the center of the Petal Cone Die on the scored line so you have 2 pieces. Cut 1 of the 1/2 Circle off one of the petal cones. Take the spider stamp from Scaredy Cat Stamp Set; ink it in Basic Black and stamp on the Basic Black card stock.

2. Cut 2 Fightful Sight Designer Series Paper 1" x 3" in two different patterns. Snail to one of the petal cone fronts leaving a 1/4 gap between the two pieces of DSP. Wrap a piece of 1/4 Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon around the petal cone between the DSP gaps. On the bottom wrap another piece of 1/4 Old Olive Grosgrain and add a bow with a Glimmer Brad Basic. Then snail the two pieces of the petal cone together.

3. Using the Big Shot and the Scallop Circle Die; die cut 1 Scallop Circle out in Basic Black card stock. This will be for the bottom part of the hat. Run the scallop circle through the Big Shot with the Perfect Details Texture Plate. Fold the 1/2 Circle on the petal cone backwards and snail to the Scallop Circle.

4. Cut 1 piece of Frightful Sight DSP 1" x 4". Wrap around two Hershey Nuggets and snail them to the back of the Witches Hat!!
