Scrapbook Saddle Up Friday; Hot Trivet using Raining Flowers

Morning everyone and Happy Friday!!!

Every Friday I will be hosting the Scrapbook Saddle Up with y'all!! It will feature a scrapbook layout to a scrapbooking album ideas along with tips, techniques and etc!! Today's share is a Hot Trivet I altered for a gift! I made this to play along with a color challenge for my Fresh Cuts On-line Class!!! It's not to late to still join in on the fun with us!! I used the following supplies to create this~

I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock. I took the stamps from Raining Flowers Stamp Set; inked them in Melon Mambo, Lucky Limeade and Tangerine Tango. I then stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of Lucky Limeade card stock and punched it out with the Lace Ribbon Border Punch. I cut a strip of Patterns DSP Brights.

Tip~ Use Sticky Strip to adhere the card stock and DSP to the cork. This will help it stick better.

I mounted the photo onto a piece of Melon Mambo card stock, I set two Mini Silver Brads in the upper right hand corner. I then placed Stampin' Dimensionals to back of the Melon Mambo card stock. I cut a piece of 3/8 Ruffled Lucky Limeade Ribbon and ran it across over the top of the photo. I took the stamps from Raining Flowers Stamp Set; inked them in Melon Mambo and Tangerine Tango and stamped onto Whisper White card stock. I then cut them out. I added a Mini Silver Brad to the center of the Melon Mambo flower and a Designer Button Neutrals to the center of the Tangerine Flower. I placed Stampin' Dimensionals on the back and attached to the picture. I then added a loop at the top on the back made out of 3/8 Ruffled Lucky Limeade Ribbon.

Tip~ Never use the original picture; be sure to back up pictures.
