There is so much to this page that I am sharing this in two parts. The Beyond the Garden DSP rocked for this page!!! The colors in one of the DSP papers is perfect for little boys!!! This is a picture of my cousin's little boy, he was in Hawaii and for some reason was just taken by dirt in the pots. lol

My base is 12 x 12 Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of Wild Wasabi card stock down to fit the Whisper White card stock; I took the White Gel Pen and added fake stitching around the edges. I cut a piece of Pacific Point card stock. I took the stamp from Fabulous Florets Stamp Set; inked in Pacific Point and stamped all over the Pacific Point card stock.

Tip~ Create your own custom background paper using stamps.

I cut a piece of Beyond the Garden DSP. I layered a piece of Vellum Paper, Pacific Point card stock, and a piece of Wild Wasabi card stock that I punched out with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch on top of the Beyond the Garden DSP. I also wrapped a piece of Baker's Twine White around the center.

Tip~ Want to tone down a piece of DSP consider placing a piece of Vellum Paper over it.

Since I only put one picture on the page I printed it out to a 5 x7. I mounted the picture onto a piece Pacific Point and Wild Wasabi card stock.

Tip~ Only want 1 picture on your page but can't get it to balance out. Consider printing your picture a larger size.

I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock for my journaling block. Using the 3/16 Corner Rounder Punch, I rounded the two bottom corners. I took the Wild Wasabi Stampin' Write Marker and drew more fake stitching around the edges. I wrote the name and year in with the Pacific Point Stampin' Write Maker. I cut another piece of Whisper White card stock, rounded the corners again with the 3/16 Corner Rounder Punch. I drew fake stitching with the Pacific Point Stampin' Write Marker. I wrote "The World of" using the Wild Wasabi Stampin' Write Marker.

Tip~ To balance out your page with fake stitching consider adding fake stitching to your journaling blocks to tie it all together in the end.

Be sure to stop back next friday for the rest of the details and tips on this page!!!! Leave a comment today and come back next friday and leave a comment on that post and I will draw for a prize giveaway!!! One lucky winner will receive an assortment of supplies I used to create this page!!!!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!!!
