Fabulous Florets Stamp Set; Wedding Card

Morning everyone!!

In 11 days I leave for convention!! I am supper excited but at the same time I am spazing out!! I have so much to do before I leave!!! Today this lucky girl gets to go to my parents farm and set 100 T-posts and then paint them. Yep paint them that has got to be a first for me. ROTFL There not green and dad wants them green. Of course Dad picks the hot-est day this week to do this. lol Think dad has too much time on his hands?? ROTFL I will admit that one threw me for a loop and cracked me up. Life sure gets interesting as your parents get order that is for sure! For the most part I think he has adjusted well to retirement but I do think he is a little bored, I would be too if I couldn't do much on my own either.

Today's share is a card I made to play along with a color challenge for my "Summer Fun" Class!!! I am not a big fan of yellow but this card actually just came together supper easy for some reason. lol I used the following supplies to create this~

I wrapped a piece of 5/8 Whisper White Organza Ribbon around the center of the Presto Pattern DSP. Using the Big Shot and the Little Leaves die I die cut out two leaves in Daffodil Delight. I took the stamp from Fabulous Florets Stamp Set; inked in Daffodil Delight and stamped onto Whisper White card stock. I then cut it out and placed it on the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. I took the stamp from Happy Greetings Stamp Set, inked in Daffodil Delight and stamped onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. Monday's 3D Challenge, 4th July Party Favor!!!

Morning everyone!!

I slept in a little this morning and it was nice! Last night we had some storms here again so with all the loud thunder I didn't get much sleep. Today it is still raining I may need to build an Ark soon! lol That is ok now I can just work on swaps all day today!! Convention is getting closer and closer!!! I am so excited and can't wait!!

Today's share is 3D Challenge I posted over on Stampin' Addicts website! If you never been check it out, it is geared towards Stampin' Up! if your a demo be sure to sign up for the demo forums and then give a shout out to me catrules! The challenge is to make a party favor using a toilet paper roll!! I had a blast making this little favor this would work great for any occasion or event!!! I used the following supplies to create this~

Snow Swirled Stamp Set item #111690
Regals Patterns DSP item #117154
Big Shot item #113439
Billboard Sizzlit Strip item #114510
1 3/8 x 5/8 Oval Punch item #119863
2 3/8 Scallop Circle Punch item #118874
Glass Stampin' Glitter Silver item #120995
Bakers Twine White item #124262

If you would like to purchase the supplies I used to make this project or place an order  shop ONLINE HERE, email or call me too!! Just click on the Shop Now button when on my Stampin' Up! Website.

DSC03442
Directions~

1. Cut 1 Toilet Paper Roll in half, mine was 2" tall once cut in half. This way you can get two party favors out of 1.

2. Cut 1 piece of Regals Patterns DSP (Night of Navy) 1 1/2" x 6". Now hows this for thinking outside of the box. Take the stamp from Snow Swirled Stamp Set; ink it in Night of Navy and stamp onto the DSP. I think the little snowflake looks like fireworks. Apply adhesive to the back and wrap around the bottom of the toilet paper roll.

3. Cut 1 piece of Regals Patterns DSP (Cherry Cobbler) 1" x 6". Apply snail to the back and wrap around the upper half of the toilet paper roll over lapping the other piece of DSP on the bottom.

4. Punch 1 Whisper White Scallop Circle out with the 2 3/8 Scallop Circle Punch. Set aside this will be for the bottom.

5. Cut 4 pieces of card stock any color 1/2" x 1 1/2". Fold in half, apply sticky strip on one side only on each end. Then attache one end inside the toliet paper roll and the other end to the punched scallop piece of Whisper White. This now gives you a bottom on the toilet paper roll.

Decorating~

I wrapped some Bakers Twine White around the toliet paper roll in the center. I then punched a piece of Night of Navy card stock out with the 1 3/8 x 5/8 Oval Punch. Using the Big Shot and Billboard Sizzlit I die cut out USA in Whisper White card stock. I then applied Tombo Multipurpose Glue to each letter and poured Glass Stampin' Glitter Silver over the letters. I attached the letters to the Night of Navy oval with Stampin' Dimensionals. I took strips of Cherry Cobbler card stock; wrapped them around a pencil and spiraled them out. I then attached them to the back of the oval. I attached the oval to the front of my favor with Stampin' Dimensionals.

This is very easy and fun to make!!!! Great way to recycle as well!! Since this was pretty simple I didn't do a tutorial video for this project. If you have questions please feel free to email me for help!

Supplies Used~
Stamp~ Snow Swirled
Ink~ Night of Navy
Paper~ Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Night of Navy, Regals Patterns DSP
Acc.~ Big Shot, Billboard Sizzlit, Glass Stampin' Glitter Silver, 2 3/8 Circle Punch, 1 3/8 x 5/8 Oval Punch, Bakers Twine White, Stampin' Dimensionals

This is a picture of my cousin and her husband. I really wanted the page to have shimmer to it to match her head piece!!

My base is a piece of Basic Black 12 x12. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock to fit the Basic Black. I took the stamp from Always Stamp Set; inked in Basic Black and stamped around the sides and across the top. I took the stamp from Always Stamp Set; inked in Basic Gray and stamped the saying in the bottom right hand corner. I took the 2-Way Glue Pen added glue to the images and then poured Dazzling Diamonds over the glue. I sponged the edges of the Whisper White card stock with Shimmer Paint Platinum.

Tip~ Creating a wedding or prom page consider adding glitter, shimmer paint or smooch spritz to the card stock to make it more shimmery.

I cut a piece of Presto Patterns DSP, using the Brayer I brayed Basic Black ink over it. I love this DSP!!! It is a lot of fun to work with and adds so much to your project!!!

Tip~ When braying with Basic Black ink it may take many covers to achieve how dark you want it. With the Presto Patterns DSP it will take many coats of ink to get the image to pop.

I cut some Brushed Silver card stock. I ran it through the Big Shot with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. I then rounded the bottom corner on each side with the 3/16 Small Corner Punch.  I then wrapped a piece of 5/8 Organza Whisper White Ribbon above the top of the Brushed Silver card stock. I cut a piece of Basic Black card stock to go behind the photo. I then glued it to the center of the page. My photo was a Black and White one already.

Tip~ For an elegant looking page consider printing one or more photos out in Black and White.

I took some Jewels Basic Rhinestones and created a pattern with them in the upper right hand corner. I took the stamp "everything" from Always Stamp Set; inked in Basic Black and stamped onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. I rounded just the two corners with the 3/16 Corner Small Punch. I then sponged some Shimmer Paint Platinum to the tag and placed it on the left side of the picture. I folded a piece of 5/8 Organza Whisper White Ribbon and attached it behind the page. I then added some Jewels Basic Rhinestones to ribbon and tag. I took the "bird" stamp from Always Stamp Set; inked in Basic Black and stamped onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. I cut the bird image out and then I added some Dazzling Diamonds to the image with the 2-way glue pen. I also added some Jewels Basic Rhinestones to the bird and popped it up on a Stampin' Dimensional. I then added a bow on the right side made from 5/8 Organza Whisper White Ribbon. Then last I did my journaling onto a piece of White Vellum Paper.

Tip~ To create your own swirls with the Jewels Basic Rhinestones, draw your design onto a piece of Vellum Paper then place on your project and lightly pierce tiny holes through the Vellum Paper with the Paper-Piercing Tool. Then cover the holes with Jewels Basic Rhinestones.

Supplies Used~

Stamp~Always
Ink~ Basic Black
Paper~ Basic Black, Whisper White, Brushed Silver, Presto Patterns DSP, White Vellum Paper
Acc. ~ Big Shot, Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder, Brayer, Shimmer Paint Platinum, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, 2-Way Glue Pen, 3 1/16 Corner Small Punch, 5/8 Organza Whisper White Ribbon, Jewels Basic Rhinestones, Stampin' Dimensionals, Glue Dots

Monday's 3D Challenge; Wedding Gift Box Using Always

Morning everyone!

The winner of the Flag Day Giveaway is........ Shirley Pumpkin!! Congrats Shirley you won the FREE Pass to my upcoming "Fresh Cuts" On-Line Class!!! I will be emailing you soon!!!

I hope you all had a great Father's Day Weekend!! My brother came home this weekend and we took my Dad fishing. For the first time in history I out fished my Dad and Brother!!!! It was AWESOME! Growing up my dad would take me and my brother fishing and of course being siblings it always was a competition with us. lol My dad did a lot of fishing and naturally was pretty good at it. For some reason the fish never wanted to eat my bait so after awhile I naturally would get pretty razzed about it. So I am pretty happy that I finally out fished both of them!!! lol

Thank you all who have stopped by and to those that left comments here!! Didn't the gals do a great job featuring those retired stamp sets!!! I appreciate all of your comments!! Tomorrow I will be posting the Blog Hop Candy Winner so be sure to stop back!

Directions~

1. Cut 1 piece of Basic Black card stock 4 1/4" x 5 3/8". Score 1" in on all 4 sides, cut on the scored lines in the corners to create tabs. I then ran it through the Big Shot with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. Apply Sticky Strip to the tabs and assemble. This piece is the bottom of the box.

2. Cut 1 piece of Basic Black card stock 3 1/2" x 4 1/2" score 1/2" on all 4 sides, cut on the scored lines in the corners to created tabs. I then ran it through the Big Shot with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. Apply Sticky Strip to the tabs and assemble. This piece is the top of the box.

3. Cut 1 piece of Brushed Silver card stock 2 1/4" x 3 1/4".

4. Cut 1 piece of Whisper White card stock 2" x 3". Take the stamp from Always Stamp Set; ink it in Basic Black and stamp onto the Whisper White card stock. I took the 2-Way Glue Pen added glue to the bird and then added some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. I placed some Jewels Basic Rhinestones on the bird. I sponged the edges with Shimmer Paint Platinum and then snailed the Whisper White card stock to the Brushed Silver card stock. I placed Stampin' Dimensionals on the back and attached to the center of the lid. I took scraps of Whisper White card stock, punched them out with the Scallop Trim Border Punch and snailed them to the lid to just dress it up more.

To create the banner~

I took the stamp from Always Stamp Set; inked in Basic Black and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. I cut the image apart and used only the bottom half. I added Stampin' Dimensionals to the back and attached just below the bird. I then wrapped some 5/8 Organza Whisper White Ribbon around one sided. I added some Jewels Basic Rhinestones to the ribbon.
