Take your scissors and trim off the excess card stock using the Heart Treat Cup edge as a guide. Then take your Sanding Block and sand the edges to give it a finished look.

2. Take the Crop-a-dile and punch a hole at the top in the valley of the heart, through the Treat Cup and card stock. Take 1/8 Real Red Taffeta Ribbon and 1/2 Seam Binding Rose Red and run through the hole. Secure by tying 2 knots.

This picture is of some of my ancestors, this one has been a very intriguing one for me. I've spent the last 5 years trying to figure out who these ladies are. You see we have lots of twins and triplets born in our family around the same time so I am not sure which set they are! lol I love this photo and the outfits they are wearing!!

I started out with a piece of 12 x 12 Early Espresso card stock. On the left side I then cut a piece of 12 x 12 Old Olive cad stock, on the side I used the Scallop Trim Border Punch. I took the En Francais Background Stamp; inked in Old Olive and then stamped onto Old Olive card stock.

Tip~ The En Francais Background Stamp works wonderfully for giving you projects that vintage look and feel!!!

I then took the stamp from Nature Walk Stamp Set; inked in Very Vanilla Craft and stamped all over the Old Olive card stock. I sponged the edges with Old Olive ink.

Tip~ Using neutral colored Craft Inks, gives the project a subtle soft look and feel, when using craft inks you can either heat set with the Heat Tool or lay that piece of to the side and attach it to your project once the Craft Ink dries so it won't smear.

I cut two different patterns of Botanical Gazette DSP. I glued the dark brown piece over the top of the Old Olive card stock. I took the Scallop Trim Border Punch to one side of the other piece. I then sponged the edge with Early Espresso ink.

Tip~To keep with the flow of the layout I made sure to face the punched edge the same way as the punched edge on the Old Olive piece.

I cut a piece of Old Olive card stock. I took the En Francais Background Stamp; inked it in Old Olive and stamped around the edges. I took the stamp from the Nature Walk Stamp Set; inked it Very Vanilla Craft Ink and stamped aorund the edges. Once dry I sponged the edges in Old Olive.

I cut a piece of Frist Editon DSP. I took the stamp from Nature Walk Stamp Set and colored it with the Stampin Write Markers Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive. I then stamped onto the First Edition DSP. I took the bird from the Nature Walk Stamp Set; inked in Early Espresso and stamped it in the bottom left hand corner. I took the no. 147 stamp from the Nature Walk Stamp set; inked it in Early Espresso and stamped around the edges. I sponged the edge with Early Espresso ink. I then over lapped the border on the left hand side with this paper. I cut a piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock, I punched out the edge with the Scallop Trim Border Punch. I then sponged the edge with Early Espresso ink. I slid it under the First Edition DSP and had the punched border facing the opposite way of the others to tie the page together.

Tip~ Create your own background paper with the supplies you have on hand, this is a great cost effective way to scrapbook!!!

I printed my picture out in a darker brown setting so it would stand out more on this page. I made a photo mat for it using Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive card stock. I then made sure to leave room at the bottom to add there names when I find them out. I wrapped Crochet Trim 1/2 Chantilly around the bottom of the picture, on top I wrapped Natural Hemp Twine. I then placed an Antique Brad off the right and popped it up with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Now comes all the little details!! I love the ruffle on there dresses so to tie it in I took the 1/2 Seam Binding Cherry Cobbler and created my own ruffle down the left hand side. I thenn added Jewesl Basic Pearls to the ribbon and layout. I made a bow out of the 1/8 Early Espresso Taffeta Ribbon and Natural Hemp and added that to the left. I then added a Trinket Crown to it. These are another great little item for vintage stuff!!! I took the Big Shot and Timeless Type Junior Alphabet and die cut Sisters out in Early Espresso card stock. I know the picture was taken around the 1800's so I created a little tag using the Decorative Label Punch and a piece of Natural Ivory card stock. I sponged the edge with Early Espresso ink.

Tip~ To help with your scrapbooking pull little details from your pictures like the ruffle, buttons, fringe and etc. and incorporate it into your layout.

Wowzier! There sure was a lot to this page!! lol Hope you enjoyed this layout and tips!

Supplies Used~

Stamps~ Nature Walk, En Francais
Ink~ Very Vanilla Craft, Old Olive, Early Espresso

I picked up this bucket at Target in the $1 Spot last Summer. I knew I would eventually use it! lol I took some Sticky Strip and ran it across the bucket about half ways down. I then took 1 1/4 Real Red Stripped Grosgrain Ribbon, cut one side and frayed it. I then worked it as a ruffled across the tin on the Sticky Strip. I took the Crystal Effects and ran it across the bottom of the ribbon. I then poured Glass Glitter Silver across it. I cut a bunch of little squares out of Love Letter DSP and glued them across the top of the ribbon. I took the Big Shot and the Northern Frost Decorative Strip and die cut snowflakes out in Real Red, Basic Black and Shimmery White card stock. I added Jewels Basic Rhinestones to them and Designer Buttons Neutral. On one end I tied bows out of 5/8 Basic Black Satin Ribbon, 5/8 Whisper White Organza Ribbon, and the left over piece of 1 1/4 Real Red Stripped Grosgrain Ribbon. I added another die cut snowflake to the center and a Neutral Designer Button. This was supper easy and fun to make!!!

Supplies Used~
Paper~Real Red, Basic Black, Shimmery White, Love Letters DSP
Acc.~Big Shot, Northern Frost Decorative Strip, 5/8 Basic Black Satin Ribbon, 5/8 Whisper White Organza Ribbon, 1 1/4 Real Red Stripped Grosgrain Ribbon, Neutral Designer Buttons, Jewels Basic Rhinestones, Glass Glitter, Crystal Effects, Glue Dots, Stampin' Dimensionals, Sticky Strip

My base is a piece of 12 x 12 Night of Navy card stock. I cut a piece of 12 x 12 Real Red card stock down, on the left side I punched out the edge with the Pinking Hearts Border Punch.

Tip~ By punching out the left side of the Real Red card stock you would be keeping the flow of the layout to match the 6 x 6 Page.

I took a piece of 12 x 12 Crumb Cake, cut it down to fit the Real Red card stock. I took the stamp from Filled With Love Stamp Set; inked it in Crumb Cake and stamped all over the card stock. I took the Stampin' Write Navy Marker and drew fake stitching around the edges of the Crumb Cake card stock.

Tip
~ Use a ruler to keep your lines straight.

I die cut out the title Cutie in Night of Navy with my Big Shot and Timeless Type Junior Alphabet Sizzlits. I then glued them going down the left hand side. I took the Heart to Heart Punch, and punched out 2 small hearts in Real Red. I took the Stampin' Write Marker Night of Navy and drew a fake stitching line on them. In the 4 corners I added Jewels Basic Rhinestones.

I took a piece of 8 1/2 x 11 Night of Navy card stock and cut it down to fit on the 12 x12 Crumb Cake piece. I then cut a piece of Crumb Cake card stock. I took the stamp from Filled With Love Stamp Set; inked it in Crumb Cake and stamped randomly all over. I took the Stampin' Write Night of Navy Marker and again drew fake stitching around the edges. I cut a strip of Real Red card stock and glued it to the Night of Navy card stock. I then wrapped 1/4 Night of Navy Grosgrain Ribbon around hiding the edge.

Tip~ Keep with the same layout basics of your 6 x 6 page this will help balance out the page and make your eyes follow along.

I then glued my 6 x 6 Page to the center. I took the Full Heart Punch and punched out a piece in Real Red card stock. I die cut out my godson's name in Night of Navy. I slightly overlapped the name onto the heart to tie it in better. I punched out a heart in Real Red with the Heart to Heart Punch, and drew fake stitching on the heart. I added a Jewels Basic Rhinestone in the upper left hand corner of the heart. To finish off the page I punched out 4 hearts in Night of Navy using the Heart to Heart Punch. I placed then in the 4 corners, angling them so they look like there pointing to the main image. I popped them up with Stampin' Dimensionals and then added Jewels Basic Rhinestones to the center of each heart.

This completes the layout! Hope you like it!! Again your Valentine Stuff can used for many different events in life!!!

Supplies Used~
Stamps~Filled With Love
Ink~Crumb Cake
Paper~Night of Navy, Crumb Cake, Real Red
Acc.~ Big Shot, Timeless Type Junior Alphabet Sizzlits, Full Heart Punch, Pinking Hearts Border Punch, Heart to Heart Punch, Jewels Basic Rhinestones, 1/4 Night of Navy Grosgrain, Night of Navy Stampin' Write Marker, Stampin' Dimensionals, Glue Dots.
