Today's share is a Christmas card I made to play along in another color challenge that I did for my Winter Wonderland On-line Class. I used the following supplies to create this card~

My base is Old Olive card stock. I cut a piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock ran it through the Big Shot with the Petals-A-Plenty Embossing Folder. I cut a piece of Old Olive card stock and a piece of Jolly Holiday DSP, I snailed the two pieces together then attached to the bottom half of the card. I took a piece of 1/2 Very Vanilla Seam Binding and wrapped it around the center of the card. On top I wrapped a piece of 1/8 Old Olive Taffeta Ribbon. I cut a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I took the stamp from Snow Swirled Stamp Set; inked in Old Olive and stamped onto the Very Vanilla card stock. I cut a piece of Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive card stock to go behind the Very Vanilla card stock. I took Jewels Basic Rhinestones and added them into the stamped tree. I popped it up with a Stampin' Dimensional. I took the stamp from Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set; inked it in Old Olive and stamped onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I then punched it out with the Decorative Label Punch and slid it in under the tree piece. To finish of the card I added a Deck the Halls Big Designer Button with 1/8 Old Olive Taffeta.


Inside View~

I kept the inside very simple. I cut a piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock and Very Vanilla card stock. I snailed the two pieces together, then on the bottom I added a piece of Jolly Holiday DSP.

Today's share is the 3D Challenge I posted over on Stampin' Addicts website! If you never been check it out, it is geared towards Stampin' Up! if your a demo be sure to sign up for the demo forums and then give a shout out to me catrules! For the month of December we are doing a do over of past challenges shared for the year!! So th one I picked for today was the Fall Fancy Favor Box. You can view it HERE. I changed to fit the Christmas Season! This is supper fast and easy to recreate and perfect for the holidays!! I used the following supplies to create this~

Directions~

1. Die-cut out 1 Fancy Favor Box in Sahara Sand with your Big Shot. I then took the holly image from Bells and Boughs Stamp Set; ink it in Sahara Sand and stamped all over the box. Then assemble your box.

2. Cut 1 piece of Deck the Halls DSP 2" x 3".

3. Cut 1 piece of Deck the Halls Designer Series Paper 1 1/2" x 3". I snailed it to Step 2. I then took the Crochet Trim 1/2 Chantilly and made a ruffle across the center.

Decorating~

I took the Decorative Label Punch and punched out a piece in Always Artichoke. I took the image from Tags til Christmas Stamp Set; inked in Sahara Sand and stamped onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I then inked it in Cherry Cobbler and stamped onto Very Vanilla card stock. I cut both pieces out and layered onto the Always Artichoke card stock. I then placed a Stampin' Dimensional behind it and placed in the center of the box. To finish it off I added Jewels Basic Pearls to the front.

Today's share is a Scallop Christmas Tree I made!! I played along in one of the color challenges in my Winter Wonderland on-line class and this is what I came up with! I used the following supplies to create this~

 I took the Big Shot along with the Scallop Circle Die and die cut out 3 Scallop Circles in Wild Wasbi and 3 in Garden Green. I ran them through the Big Shot with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. I snailed them together and then cut off the end on one side. I then took the Big Shot along with the Scallop Circle Die #2 and die cut out 3 Scallops Circles in Wild Wasbi; 3 in Garden Green. I used the bigger Scallop on the die. I ran them through the Big Shot with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. I snailed them together then cut slits into each fold and worked it into the bottom part. I took the Big Shot along with the Scallop Circle Die #2 and die cut 3 Scallop Circles in Wild Wasbi; 3 in Garden Green. I used the smaller scallop for the top circles. I ran them through the Big Shot with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder, then snailed them together. I cut the slits in the folds and worked it into the piece below.

I sponged all the edges with Garden Green ink, I then added some Jewels Basic Rhinestones randomly all over the tree. At the top I added a bow made from 3/8 Whisper White Taffeta with a Jewels Basic Rhinestone in the center. I then took the Tinsel Trim Silver and wrapped it around the tree.

Color Round Up #13 using Tree Trimmings

Morning everyone!

Every Wednesday I will be posting a new Color Round Up Color Challenge!!! All color challenges will be based on Stampin' Up! color families. I am a Stampin' Up! Demo so all my samples will only use SU product.

To take part in the Color Round Up Color Challenge CRU #13~

1. Create a project (card, scrapbook page, 3D item or MDS item) using these colors or similar shades only on your project. You may use white or vanilla with this color challenge. I can't wait to see what you make!!!

My base is Pear Pizzazz card stock, then a piece of Whisper White card stock. Next I cut a piece of Poppy Parade card stock; ran it through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. I cut the following colors in card stock, Pear Pizzazz, and So Saffron. I cut a piece of In Color DSP (Hostess Level 1) in Poppy Parade. I snailed all 3 pieces together. I then wrapped 1/4 Whisper White Grosgrain Ribbon around the center. I attached it to the front of the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock, I took the image from Tree Trimmings Stamp Set and inked in Poppy Parade. I then stamped onto the card stock. I matted it on a piece of So Saffron card stock and then Pear Pizzazz card stock. I attached it to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. To finish off the card I added a bow made from the 1/4 Whisper White Grosgrain Ribbon, then added Jewels Basic Rhinestones to the card. I took the stamp from Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set, inked in Pear Pizzazz and stamped onto Whisper White card stock. I punched it out with the Decorative Label Punch.

Christmas Card using Season of Joy

Morning everyone!

I wanted to show you all what my wonderful husband got me yesterday for my birthday!!! He got me a dozen red roses!!! Isn't he just great!!! I don't usually get flowers during the winter as they die right away when you go out in the freezing cold. Thank you all who sent me emails wishing me a happy birthday!!!

I cut a piece of Blushing Bride card stock for my base. I cut a piece of Real Red card stock. I took the points-eta stamp from Delightful Decorations Stamp Set; inked it in Real Red and stamped around the edges. I cut a piece of Baja Breeze card stock ran it through the Big Shot with the Backgrounds 1 Texturze Plate. I die cut a piece of Garden Green card stock and a piece of Candy Cane DSP out using the Big Shot and the Scallop Square Die. I took the stamp from Season of Joy Stamp Set; inked in Garden Green and stamped randomly around the card stock. I snailed the piece of Candy Cane DSP to the bottom of the Garden Green Square. I took the Mat Pack and Paper-Piercing Tool and punched holes in each scallop on the Garden Green card stock. I then wrapped 1/2 Blushing Bride Stitched Ribbon in the center.

I cut a piece of Real Red card stock and Whisper White card stock. I stamped the image from Season of Joy Stamp Set in Garden Green ink onto the Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Season of Joy Stamp Set and colored part of it with the Baja Breeze Stampin' Write Marker. I then stamped onto a piece of Whisper White card stock and punched it out with the Decorative Label Punch. I snailed it to the back of the Real Red card stock then popped it up with Stampin' Dimensionals. To finish off the card I added a filigree brad with a In Color Glimmer Brad in the center.

I created the inside like how I created the front of the card.

Thank you all who have been visiting my blog and leaving comments! I am sorry I having posting regularly, I have been crazy busy and also not feeling so good. Tis the season for it! lol I am hopping starting today that I will be back into the routine!

Directions~
     Note~ I recommend watching the Tutorial Video to see how the box is scored and put together.

1. Cut 1 piece of Real Red card stock 4" x 11 1/2". Score at 2 3/4", 5 1/2", 8 1/4", 11". Turn and and score 1 1/4" in on one long side.

2. Cut 1 piece of Real Red card stock 2 3/4" x 2 3/4", this is for the inside of the box to go in the bottom.

3. Cut 1 piece of Whisper White card stock 1 3/4" x 2". I stamped the image from Delightful Decorations Stamp Set in Blushing Bride. I sponged the edges in Blushing Bride ink.

4. Cut 1 piece of Real Red card stock 2" x 2 1/4" to go behind the Whisper White card stock.

5. Cut 1 piece of Blushing Bride card stock 2 1/4" x 2 1/2". I stamped the image from Delightful Decorations Stamp Set in Blushing Bride ink around the edges. I then snailed step 3-5 together. I added 2 Designer Jewels Basic Rhinestones in the upper left hand corner. I stamped the Merry Christmas from Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set in Real Red ink onto Whisper White card stock and then punched it out with the Decorative Label Punch. I sponged the edges with Blushing Bride ink and attached to the back. On the bottom I added a Jewels Basic Rhinestone.

6. Cut 1 piece of Candy Cane Christmas DSP 1 1/2" x 2 3/4". I sponged Blushing Bride ink around the edges and snailed to the front of the box. I attached my completed piece from above with Stampin' Dimensionals. I punched out a piece of Blushing Bride card stock with the Ornament Extra Large Punch. I took the image from Delightful Decorations Stamp Set; inked in Real Red and stamped onto Whisper White card stock. I cut it out and snailed to the Blushing Bride Piece I punched out. I then attached my ornament piece with Stampin' Dimensionals to the front of the box. I filled the bag with candy tied it closed with 3/8 Real Red and Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon.

I cut a piece of Crumb Cake card stock at 6 x 6. I took the snowflake image from Punch Pals Stamp Set; inked in Crumb Cake and stamped around the edges. I cut a piece of Real Red card stock. I took the pointseta image from Punch Pals Stamp Set; inked it in Real Red and stamped randomly around the edges. I cut a piece of Jolly Holiday DSP and glued it to the back of the Real Red card stock at the top. I ran some 1 1/4" Real Red Stripped Grosgrain Ribbon around the center of the Real Red card stock, on top I ran some Hemp Twine Natural.

I diecut out my dog's name in Basic Black card stock using the Big Shot and Timeless Type Junior Alphabet Set.

Tip~Before gluing the Real Red card stock down place your title at the bottom so you have enough room for your letters.

I punched out a piece of Crumb Cake card stock with the Decorative Label Punch. I took the snowflake image from Punch Pals Stamp Set inked in Crumb Cake and stamped on it. I sponged the edges with Crumb Cake. I then snailed it to the back side of my ornament on the left. I popped the ornament up off the page with Stampin' Dimensionals. I added a Designer Button Brights and a bow made from the Natural Hemp Twine to the center. I then added some Designer Jewels Black Flourish to the little tag I created. To finish off the page I added a row of Designer Jewles Black Flourish down the right hand side. Very simple and easy page!

Top Note Die Gift Card Holder

Today's share is a gift card holder I made for one of the challenges I posted for The Rubber Redneck STAMPede "Winter Wonderland Edition 2010" Online Class. I cut 2 pieces of Marina Mist card stock out by running it through my Big Shot with my Top Not Die. I cut the one Top Not die cut in half. I then took that half piece and ran it through the Big Shot with the Finial Press Embossing Folder. I Sticky Stripped the sides together creating a pocket. I cut a piece of DSP Newsprint, ran it through the Big Shot with the Top Note Die. I cut the edge off so I would have a border when I snailed it to the Marina Mist half. I sponged the edges of the Newsprint DSP with Basic Black Craft Ink. I took a piece of 1/2 Lace Trim Raven and ran it across the Newsprint DSP. On top of that I ran some 1/2 Very Vanilla Seam Binding creating a ruffle. I then snailed the completed piece of Newsprint DSP to the Marina Mist card stock.

I die cut out some snowflakes using the Big Shot and the Northern Frost Decorative Strip in Basic Black, Marina Mist and Very Vanilla card stock. I sponged Marina Mist on the Very Vanilla card stock. I set Silver Brads in the center of the snowflakes. At the top of the Top Note Die I punched a hole and ran 1/2 Very Vanilla Seam Binding and 1/2 Lace Trim Raven through. I cut a piece of Basic Black card stock to attach the gift card to and slide into the pocket.

Color Round Up #12 using Peaceful Season

Every Wednesday I will be posting a new Color Round Up Color Challenge!!! All color challenges will be based on Stampin' Up! color families. I am a Stampin' Up! Demo so all my samples will only use SU product.

This card measures 4" x 4". I love making these square little cards!!! My base is Old Olive card stock, I sponged the edges with Old Olive ink. I cut a piece of Real Red card stock, punched out the bottom using the Scallop Edge Punch. I took the Mat Pack and Paper-Piercing Tool and punched holes in each scallop. I then sponged the edges with Real Red ink. I cut a piece of Crumb Cake card stock, took the Holly image from Peaceful Season Stamp Set, inked it in Old Olive. Before stamping onto the card stock I stamped off each time on a piece of scratch paper. In the center I stamped the saying from Peaceful Season Stamp Set in Real Red. I then sponged the edges with Crumb Cake ink.

I punched out a piece of Old Olive card stock using our Decorative Label Punch, I sponged the edges with Old Olive ink. I attached it to the Real Red card stock. I wrapped 1/4 Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon around the bottom of the Crumb Cake I put Stampin' Dimensionals on the back and attached it to the front. I then added Jewels Basic Pearls to the card and finished it off by adding a Designer Button Neutrals with a piece of Hemp Twine Natural that I ran through it.

Christmas Wreath Card using the Big Shot

Morning everyone!

Today's card I made using last weeks Monday 3D Challenge as my inspiration! I used the following supplies to create this card~

My base is Cherry Cobbler card stock, then a piece of Shimmery White card stock. Next is another piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock.  Die cut out 20 leaves using the Big Shot and the Little Leaves Die in Always Artichoke. Attache the Little Leaves with glue dots in a circle. Punch 12 little berries out using the Crop-a-dile, in Cherry Cobbler. Use the bigger hole punch on the Crop-a-dile.Then glue to the leaves randomly in clusters of 3.Die

Cut 1 Bird using the Big Shot and Birds and Blooms Sizzlit Die in Shimmery White card stock. I added a Jewels Basic Rhinestone for the eye. Cut a piece of 5/8 Whisper White Organza Ribbon, make a bow and tie at the top. Cut 1 piece of Shimmer White card stock 1/" x 2 1/4", I took the Merry Christmas from Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set, inked it in Cherry Cobbler and stamped onto the Shimmery White card stock. I then cut the little tails in the ends and added Stampin' Dimensionals to the back and attached in the lower left corner of the wreath.
