3 x 3 Note Card using Day of Gratitude

Morning everyone!

I made a little matching note card to go with the Fancy Favor Box I posted a few weeks ago. I used the following supplies to create this~

My base is More Mustard, I ran it through the Big Shot and lined it up with the Fancy Favor Box Die Decorative edge to give me a scallop edge on my card. I then took the leaf from Day of Gratitude Stamp Set; ink it in More Mustard and stamped all over the box. Then assemble your box. Cut 1 piece of Early Espresso card stock, piece of Autumn Spice Designer Series Paper. I snailed the two pieces together, then took the Mat Pack and Paper-Piercing Tool and punched holes along the left side. I wrapped 1/8 Old Olive Taffeta around the center and tied a not off to the left.

 I punched out a piece of Cajun Craze card stock with the Decorative Label Punch. I then took the stamp from Day of Gratitude Stamp Set; inked in Cajun Craze and stamped randomly all over. I sponged the edges with Cajun Craze ink. I placed a Stampin' Dimensional on the back and stuck it to the center of the box. I took the stamp from Day of Gratitude Stamp Set; colored it with the Cajun Craze and Old Olive Stampin' Write Markers. I stamped onto a piece of Natural Ivory card stock and punched it out with the 1 1/4 Circle Punch. For behind it I punched out a piece of More Mustard card stock with the 1 3/8 Circle Punch. I then popped that up with Stampin' Dimensionals. I took the Thank you from Day of Gratitude Stamp Set inked it in Early Espresso ink, stamped onto Natural Ivory card stock. I then cut out my little tag, sponged the edges with More Mustard and popped it up on a Stampin' Dimensional. To finish it off I added a little Mini Library Clip on the side.

Monday's 3D Challenge Little Leaves Christmas Wreath

Morning everyone!!

Today's share is the 3D Challenge I posted over on Stampin' Addicts website! If you never been check it out, it is geared towards Stampin' Up! if your a demo be sure to sign up for the demo forums and then give a shout out to me catrules!

Today's challenge is to make this Little Leaves Christmas Wreath. I used the following supplies to create this~

Directions~

1. Take a pipe cleaner and make a circle.

2. Die cut out 20 leaves using the Big Shot and the Little Leaves Die in Always Artichoke. Attache the Little Leaves to the pipe cleaner with Glue Dots.

2. Punch 12 little berries out using the Crop-a-dile, in Cherry Cobbler. Use the bigger hole punch on the Crop-a-dile.Then glue to the leaves randomly in clusters of 3.

3. Die cut 1 Bird using the Big Shot and Birds and Blooms Sizzlit Die in Shimmery White card stock. I added a Jewels Basic Rhinestone for the eye.

4. Cut a piece of 5/8 Whisper White Organza Ribbon and die it Cherry Cobbler using a Sponge Dauber.

5. Cut 1 piece of Shimmer White card stock 1/" x 2 1/4", I took the Merry Christmas from Teeny Tiny Whishes Stamp Set, inked it in Cherry Cobbler and stamped onto the Shimmery White card stock. I then cut the little tails in the ends and added Stampin' Dimensionals to the back and attached below the ribbon.

I took my Big Shot and Two Tags Die and die cut a piece of Blushing Bride card stock out. I sponged the edges with Blushing Bride ink. I took a White Gel Pen and made little dashes around the edges. I cut two pieces of different patterns from the Candy Cane Christmas DSP. One piece I used the Scallop Trim Border Punch on the bottom.

I ran some Shimmery White and Real Red card stock through the Big Shot with the Northern Frost Decorative Strip. I snailed the two snowflakes together; behind it I added some 1/8 Real Red Taffeta Ribbon I then attached the snowflake to the tag with a Stampin' Dimensional. In the center of the snowflake I added a Candy Cane Big Designer Button. I took the Merry Christmas from Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set; inked in Garden Green and stamped onto Shimmery White card stock. I then cut out my little banner, sponged with Blushing Bride ink and attached it with Stampin' Dimensionals.

To finish off the tag I added some Jewels Basic Rhinestones on the right side. At the top I ran some 3/8 Real Red and Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon through. I love how this tag turned out!!!

Every Wednesday I will be posting a new Color Round Up Color Challenge!!! All color challenges will be based on Stampin' Up! color families. I am a Stampin' Up! Demo so all my samples will only use SU product.

To take part in the Color Round Up Color Challenge CRU #11~

My base is Rich Razzleberry, I sponged around the edges with Rich Razzleberry ink. Next is a piece of Cajun Craze card stock, I sponged the edges with Cajun Craze ink. I cut a piece of Old Olive card stock. I took the En Francais Background Stamp inked in Old Olive and stamped onto the card stock. I then ran it through the Big Shot with my Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. Using a Sponge Dauber I sponged Old Olive ink all over this piece.

I cut a piece of Rich Razzleberry card stock, sponged the edges with Rich Razzleberry ink. On top of that is a piece of Patterns Designer Series Papers Regals in Cajun Craze, I sponged the edges with Cajun Craze. I then wrapped a piece of 5/8 Old Olive Satin Ribbon around. I then added another piece of 5/8 Old Olive Satin Ribbon on top of that, I cut the ends to make it stand out more. I then took the Happy Anniversary from Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set, inked in Rich Razzleberry and stamped onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. I punched it out with the Word Window Punch. I sponged the edge with Old Olive ink. I mounted onto a piece of Cajun Craze card stock that I cut out with the Modern Label Punch. I then placed Stampin' Dimensionals behind it and placed in the center of the ribbon.

I took the stamp from Day of Gratitude Stamp Set, inked in Old Olive. I stamped onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock then sponged the edges with Cajun Craze ink. I cut a piece of Rich Razzleberry card stock to go behind it. I sponged the edges with Rich Razzleberry ink. I then popped it up with Stampin' Dimensionals. To finish off the card I added Jewels Basic Rhinestones all over the card.

Today's challenge is to make a Santa Suit Gift Card Holder. I used the following supplies to create this~

Directions~
       Note~ To understand were I placed the stick strip, how it is put together and were the gift card goes watch the Tutorial Video please.

1. Cut 1 piece of Poppy Parade card stock 4 1/2" x 6 1/2", Score the two sides in 1 3/4". I then applied Sticky Strip to the bottom between the two scored lines and down one side.  I took the Sanded Background Stamp inked in Poppy Parade and stamped on the center after I folded the sides over.

2. Cut 1 piece of Poppy Parade card stock 2 3/4" x 4". At the top punch a hole and run 1/8 Basic Black Taffeta Ribbon through, then attach your gift card with glue dots.

3. Cut 1 piece of Basic Black card stock 1/2" x 3 1/2", run it through the Crimper then cut it down to 3". This is the belt piece.

4. Cut 1 piece of Basic Black card stock 1/2" x 1", run it through the Crimper then cut your triangle in the end. This it the other half of the belt.

5. Cut 1 piece of Whisper White card stock 1 1/4" x 3 3/4". Punch out both sides with the Scallop Edge Border Punch.

6. Die cut 3 Basic Black Buttons using your Big Shot and Button #5 Sizzlit Die. I then added Jewels Basic Rhinestones to each button and popped them up with Stampin' Dimensionals.

7. Die cut 1 Gold Square Button using your Big Shot and Button #5 Sizzlit Die.I cut mine out of Brushed Gold Paper, popped it up with a Stampin' Dimensional.

I picked up a White Cream Platter at our Walmart here. I then used the Give Thanks Decor Element Small Chocolate on it. Then in the upper right hand corner of the platter I added a bow I made using our 1 1/4 Stripped Grosgrain Ribbons in Early Espresso and Rich Razzleberry. In the center of the bow I placed one of our Big Designer Buttons Deck the Halls. (These buttons are huge but work really great for 3D items like this!!) I then ran Natural Hemp Twine through it. Scrapbook Saddle Up Friday Paper Bag Book Part 3 using Friends Never Fade

Happy Friday!!!

Every Friday I will be hosting the Scrapbook Saddle Up with y'all!! It will feature a scrapbook layout to a scrapbooking album ideas along with tips, techniques and etc!! Today I am sharing part 3 of a Paper Bag Book I made for a friend! To see the first part click HERE to see the second part click HERE. I used the following supplies to create this~

Today I am covering the pull out scrapbook pages I made to slide inside the Paper Bag Book. I will start on the left side and then cover the right side page.

Directions~
      
     1st Page:

1. Cut 1 piece of Real Red card stock 3 3/4 x 4 3/4.

2. Cut 1 piece of Pear Pizzazz car stock 3 1/2 x 4 1/2. I took the stamp from Friends Never Fade Stamp Set; inked it in Pear Pizzazz ink and stamped around the edges.

3. Cut 1 piece of Greenhouse Gala DSP 3/4 x 3 1/2. I snailed it to the bottom of the Pear Pizzazz card stock.

4. Cut 1 piece of Early Espresso card stock 3 1/4 x 3 1/4. I snailed that to the Pear Pizzazz card stock and lined it up with the edge of the Greenhouse Gala DSP.  I then wrapped 1/4 Daffodil Delight Grosgrain Ribbon around the bottom to hide the seem. I added Jewels Basic Rhinestones to the page. I used the other half of the Top Note Die cut out in Baja Breezee that I used on the cover. I snailed this to the Real Red card stock, then snailed the Pear Pizzaz piece down on top of it.

Tip~ Use part of the Top Note Die to create an interesting edge to your project. It also doubles as a little handle to pull on as well.

  2nd Page:

1. Cut 1 piece of Real Red card stock 3 3/4 x 4 3/4.

2. Cut 1 piece of Pear Pizzazz card stock 3 1/2 x 4 1/2. I took the stamp from Friends Never Fade Stamp Set; inked in Pear Pizzazz and stamped around the edges. I then snailed it to the Real Red piece in Step 1.

Tip~ By keeping the main part of the pages the same it saves time and planning.

3. Cut 1 piece of Baja Breezee card stock 3 1/4 x 4 1/4.

4. Cut 1 piece of Greenhouse Gala DSP 1 x 3 1/4. I snailed it to Step 3 I moved it up a little so I had a border on the bottom of the Baja Breeze card stock. I took the Decorative Label Punch, punched out a piece in Early Espresso card stock. I cut it in half then snailed it to the piece of Pear Pizzazz card stock in Step 2. I then snailed my completed piece of Baja Breezee on top of that. To finish it off I add Jewels Basic Rhinestones to the little tab I created.

Tip~ Again I used my punches for a different idea, the little tab I made looks like it is part of the page but I really wanted it for pulling the page out of the lunch bag.
