World Cardmaking Day; Wedding Card using Upsy Daisy

Morning everyone!

Today is World Cardmaking Day!! So in honor of World Cardmaking Day I thought I would share a card! lol Our best-man got married in Mexico last weekend and this weekend they are coming home for the wedding reception. There wedding announcement was very simple but classy! They had daisy's in yellow on white with green ribbon. So going with that I designed my card to kinda go with the wedding announcements. I loved the colors of there announcements!! I used the following supplies to create this card~

My base is Crumb Cake card stock. I cut a piece of Pear Pizzazz card stock; I stamped the Pretty Petals Background Stamp in Pear Pizzazz ink onto the card stock. I sponged the edges with Pear Pizzazz ink. I cut a piece of Crumb Cake card stock, on top of that is a piece of DSP In Color Pack (Hostess Level 1) I used the Scallop Trim Border Punch on the bottom. I took 1/4 Daffodil Delight Grosgrain Ribbon and ran across the top.

I cut a piece of Crumb Cake card stock. On top of that is a piece of Whisper White card stock. Using the Many Marvelous Markers and New Color Kit Markers I colored in the image from the Upsy Daisy Stamp Set. I stamped directly onto the Whisper White card stock. I took the Cutter Kit and roughed up the edges. I sponged Daffodil Delight ink around the edges.

I took the saying "For the Newlyweds" from Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set inked in Crumb Cake ink, stamped onto Whisper White card stock and punched it out with the  Word Window Large Punch. I mounted it onto a piece of Daffodil Delight card stock that I punched out with the 1 3/8 x 5/8 Oval Large Punch. I placed a Stampin' Dimensional behind it. I then added Jewels Basic Pearls to it. At the top on the left hand side I added more Jewels Basic Pearls to finish off the card.


On the inside I cut a piece of Pear Pizzazz and Whisper White card stock. On the Whisper White card stock I took the image from Upsy Daisy Stamp Set and stamped it in Crumb Cake ink. I sponged the edges with Daffodil Delight ink.
