Welcome to Stampin' Addicts Holiday Mini Blog Hop!!! Each Blog will be featuring product from the up coming Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini!! There are 22 amazing stops on this tour!! The tour starts at noon EST today and goes through Sunday August 29th.

If you have been following the tour in order you just came from Kathleen's Blog FA_Stamper were she featured some of the Embossing Folders in the Holiday Mini Catalog! Didn't she do an awesome job! If your just starting here just follow the links around. I am stop #2 on the tour and the set that I am featuring is Dark and Dreary! This set is a lot of fun to create with!

1st Project is a Card~

My base is Basic Black card stock, I cut a piece of Cajun Craze card stock. I ran it through the Big Shot along with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder, I sponged the edges with Cajun Craze ink. I cut a piece of Rich Razzleberry card stock, stamped the scroll image from Friends 24-7 in Rich Razzleberry ink. I used the Scallop Edge Border Punch on the bottom then sponged the edges with Rich Razzleberry ink. I cut a piece of Basic Black card stock and layered a piece of Wicked Fun Specialty DSP on top of it. I cut a piece of Basic Black card stock ran it through the Big Shot with the Final Press Embossing Folder. I cut a piece of Newsprint DSP, I ran the Midnight Musings Jumbo Wheel over it in Cajun Craze ink. I crumpled up the paper and ripped the sides then sponged ink in Old Olive, Cajun Craze and Rich Razzleberry.

I wrapped 5/8 Rich Razzleberry Satin Ribbon and 1/2 Lace Trim Raven around the center of these layers. On top I placed a piece of Basic Black card stock. Next was a piece of Old Olive card stock that I ran through the Big Shot along with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. I sponged the edges in Old Olive ink. I stamped the image from Dark and Dreary set in Rich Razzleberry ink onto Very Vanilla card stock, over the top of it I stamped the Sanded Background in Cajun Craze. I sponged the edges with Cajun Craze. I stamped the 31 in Cajun Craze; punched it out with the 1/2 Circle Small Punch and mounted into a Build-A-Brad Pewter. To finish off the card I added two Glimmer Brads Basic on the right. Then I added Designer Jewels Black Flourish to each scallop.

2nd Project 2 page 12 x 12 layout~

I'll start with the page on the left. The base is Basic Black card stock, next is a piece of Cajun Craze card stock, I stamped the scroll image from Friends 24-7 in Cajun Craze then sponged the edges. I ran a strip of Wicked Fun Specialty DSP on the right hand side. I cut a piece of Basic Black card stock, next is a piece of Newsprint DSP, I ran the Midnight Musing Jumbo wheel over it in Cajun Craze ink. I stamped the Raven in Basic Black ink. Then crumpled it up and tore the edges; I sponged Old Olive, Cajun Craze and Rich Razzleberry ink all over. I wrapped some 5/8 Rich Razzleberry Satin Ribbon and 1/2 Lace Trim Raven around this layer. I added a bow with a Glimmer Basic Brad to the center. I took a piece of the Wicked Fun Specialty DSP, used the tearing edge on it and cut out some of the bats. I sponged the edge with Rich Razzleberry ink. The photos are mounted on Basic Black card stock and Old Olive card stock. I ran the Old Olive card stock through the Big Shot with the Vintage Wall Embossing Folder to finish off the page I die cut Boo and 2008 using the Timeless Type Junior Alphabet. I then added the Fine Supernova Glitter to the letters. I punched out a piece of Vanilla card stock, stamped the Sanded Background in Cajun Craze, wrote Jamie with the Basic Black Stampin Write Marker. Underneath I added some Designer Jewels Basic Flourish.

The 2nd page's base is Basic Black card stock, next a piece of Rich Razzleberry card stock. I stamped the scroll image from Friends 24-7 in Rich Razzleberry then sponged the edges. I cut a piece of Basic Black card stock, on top is a piece of the Wicked Fun Specialty DSP. On the left hand side I wrapped some 5/8 Rich Razzleberry Satin Ribbon and 1/2 Lace Trim Raven around this layer. I added a bow with a Glimmer Basic Brad to the center. I cut a piece of Basic Black card stock on top of it is a piece of Newsprint DSP.  I ran the Midnight Musing Jumbo wheel over it in Cajun Craze ink. I stamped the Raven in Basic Black ink. Then crumpled it up and tore the edges; I sponged Old Olive, Cajun Craze and Rich Razzleberry ink all over. I then added a piece of Wicked Fun Specialty DSP, which I tore with the Tearing Edge. I stamped the Raven in the left hand corner with Basic Black ink. I used the Scallop Edge Border Punch around the sides, then sponged the edges with Cajun Craze ink. The photos are mounted on Basic Black card stock and Rich Razzleberry card stock. I ran the Rich Razzleberry card stock through the Big Shot with the Vintage Wall Embossing Folder to finish off the page I die cut EEK out in Basic Black card stock, then added Designer Jewels Flourish behind it. Then die cut Jamie out added glue and Fine Supernova Stampin' Glitter. In the center I stamped the image from Dark and Dreary set in Rich Razzleberry ink onto Very Vanilla card stock, over the top of it I stamped the Sanded Background in Cajun Craze. I sponged the edges with Cajun Craze. I stamped the 31 in Cajun Craze; punched it out with the 1/2 Circle Small Punch and mounted into a Build-A-Brad Pewter.Behind it is a piece of Old Olive card stock that was ran through the Big Shot and the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. Then mounted onto Basic Black card stock.

3rd Project Haunted House~

My last project is a Haunted House that I made from scratch!! Halloween wouldn't be complete without the Haunted House!! There is a lot to this so I am only showing an angle picture of it.

Note ~A lot of people have been emailing me this is NOT the house out of the mini, I made this from scratch on Monday this will be the 3D Challenge and I'll post the details and a tutorial video! During the week I will be showcasing all the different sides to this little house!
