Pre Kick off Stampin' Addicts Blog Hop Tour using Dark and Dreary
Morning all!!
I hope your all excited about Stampin' Addicts Holiday Mini Blog Hop!! To kick off the Blog Hop I created a Candy Jar using Dark and Dreary Stamp Set which is the stamp set that I will be featuring this weekend!!! I love the Holidays and Halloween to me is all about the candy!! I had to make a candy jar!!! I used the following supplies to create this candy jar~

I took Basic Black card stock and wrapped it around the Jar. I cut a piece of Cajun Craze card stock, used the Scallop Edge Border Punch on one side. I then stamped the Sanded background on it with Cajun Craze ink. I sponged the edges with Cajun Craze ink. I cut a piece of Rich Razzleberry card stock, stamped the scroll image from Friends 24-7 in Rich Razzleberry ink. I used the Raven from Dark and Dreary and stamped that in Basic Black ink. I sponged the edges with Rich Razzleberry ink. I cut a piece of Wicked Fun Specialty Designer Series Paper, I roughed up the edges with my scissors and then sponged the edges with Basic Black ink.
Using the Big Shot and the Timeless Type Junior Alphabet I die cut out Treats out of our On Board Sheets. Using the 2-way Glue Pen I covered the letters in Glue and then poured the Fine Supernova Stampin' Glitter over the letters. I used the orange one. I mounted them to the jar using Stampin' Dimensionals. At the top I wrapped some 5/8 Rich Razzleberry Satin Ribbon around. On top of that I wrapped some 1/2 Lace Trim Raven. In the center I added a Glimmer Brad Basic after I applied glue and dipped it in the Fine Supernova Stampin' Glitter. I used the green. To finish it off I added Designer Jewels Black Flourish to each scallop! Note~ they come in a swirl pattern I cut them apart to use them individually.
