Card using Great Friend

Happy Sat!

Sorry I've been missing the last few days. I messed up my schedule this week. I had a important meeting on Tue only I thought it was on Thurs. so yep I scheduled appointments and jobs so I had a mess and that left me no time to stamp! lol What can I say sometimes I am a dork I will admit it :)

Today's share is based off of Monday's 3D Challenge. I took some of the same supplies and made a card. It is supper easy to take a 3D item and use it for inspiration for a card or scrapbook page. I used the following to create this card.

Great Friend Stamp Set item #113792
Sanded Background Stamp item #109294
Big Shot item#113439
SU Little Leaves Sizzlit Die item #114511
DSP Nouveau Chic item #115670
Eyelet Border Punch item #113692
Silver Brads item #104336

1/4 Sage Shadow Grosgrain Ribbon item #111369
5/8 Basic Gray Satin Ribbon item #117666
Mat Pack item #105826
Paper-Piercing Tool item #116631
Sponge Daubers item #102892

My base is Basic Gray, then a piece of Sage Shadow which I sponged the edges with Sage Shadow ink. I cut a piece of DSP Nouveau Chic Paper and used the Eyelet Border Punch on the bottom. I cut a piece of Basic Gray card stock and then a piece of Apricot Appeal. I stamped all over the Apricot Appeal with the leave from the Great Friend Stamp Set. I sponged Apricot Appeal ink around the edges. I snailed the two pieces together and then wrapped 5/8 Basic Grey Satin Ribbon around the bottom, I ripped apart 1/4 Sage Shadow Grosgrain Ribbon and wrapped the string around the satin ribbon.

Using the Big Shot and the SU Little Leaves Sizzlit I die cut out 3 leaves. I took the Sanded Background Stamp inked it in Sage Shadow and then stamped on the leaves to give it some texture. I stamped the butterfly from Great Friend in Apricot Appeal onto Whisper White card stock. I cut it out and added a Stampin' Dimensional to the back. To finish off the card I placed 3 Silver Brads on the right hand side. I then placed Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of it and placed it on the card.
