Monday's 3D Challenge~ 7 x 11 Box using Petal Pizzazz

Morning everyone!

Wow what a busy weekend! Friday night I started insulating our garage ceiling, sat. part of it was spent at the farm working the new calves. Sun was spent watching my cousin's little boys!! We had a lot of fun! My cousin was killed in a car accident 9 years ago today. Every year my Uncle, Aunt and there two other children put a basketball tournament in remembrance of Tonia and to raise scholarship money in her name. Yesterday was the Basketball Tournament and we now have 2 very energetic boys that are hard for there mama to keep track of when she is so busy with the tournament stuff so this year, we decided I would stay home and watch them. We colored, stamped (hehe hopefully there daddy doesn't see this) and played outside. I am worn out though! lol

Directions~

1. Cut 1 piece of card stock 7" x 11". Score at 4 1/2" then 6 1/2", turn your card stock vertical so the 11" side is up and down score in 1 1/2" on both sides. Cut on two scored lines in the center on the side to form 2 tabs. This will form a box. I cut mine out of Rich Razzleberry card stock.

2. Cut 1 piece of card stock 3 3/4" x 4 1/4" Mine was Tempting Turquoise and I sponged the edges with Temping Turquoise ink.

3. Cut 1 piece of card stock 3 1/2" x 4 ". Mine was Old Olive and I sponged the edges with Old Olive ink.

4. Cut 1 piece of card stock 3 1/4 x 3 3/4. Mine was Whisper White, I stamped the images from Petal Pizzazz stamp set. I stamped the flowers in Tempting Turquoise, and Old Olive. I sponged the edges with Rich Razzleberry ink. You'll tape step 2-4 together. Place Stampin' Dimensionals on the back. Wrap your ribbon around the box and then place this piece on the front over your ribbon and tie your bow at the top. I used 5/8 Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon.

To finish off my box I stamped the flower in Rich Razzleberry ink onto Whisper White card stock. I cut it out add dimensionals on the back and placed one of our Designer Buttons Playground in the center. I stamped the leaves in Old Olive on Whisper White and cut them out and placed them behind the flower. I took the birthday saying from On Your Birthday Stamp Set, inked it in Tempting Turquoise, punched it out with the Large Oval Punch. I then punched out a piece in Old Olive with the Scallop Oval Punch. I sponged the edges with Old Olive ink; added Stampi' Dimensionals to the back and placed it on the front! This was a very simple and easy box to make and makes a wonderful gift for anyone!!
