If your just starting here at my blog just follow around from here. I am stop #6 on the tour. The set I am featuring out of the Summer Mini is Elements of Style! I love this set!!!

1st Project is a Card~

My base is Soft Suede card stock, I used the Cutter Kit to rough up the edges on all of the layers. Next is a piece of Mellow Moss, I stamped the flower in Mellow Moss in the background. I sponged the edges with Mellow Moss. I added a layer of Sahara Sand; using the En Francais Background stamp I inked it in Sahara Sand and stamped on the card stock, I used the scroll imaged from Elements of Style and stamped that in Summer Sun ink. On the bottom of the card stock I used the Eyelet Border Punch. Then I sponged Sahara Sand ink around the edges.

I cut a piece of Very Vanilla card stock and stamped the flower in Soft Suede ink; I colored the image in using a Blender Pen and the following ink pads Mellow Moss, Summer Sun, and Soft Suede. Then I stamped the flowers again, colored them, cut them out and popped the up on Stampin' Dimensionals. I then added Crystal Effects to the followers. I sponged Soft Suede around the edges. I placed a piece of Soft Suede card stock behind the Vanilla and then popped them up with Stampin' Dimensionals. In the upper right hand corner I added a Vintage Brad.

I stamped the saying in Soft Suede on Very Vanilla card stock, I punched it out with the Large Oval Punch and sponged the edges with Soft Suede ink. I punched a Scallop Oval in Soft Suede to place behind it. I then popped that up with a Stampin' Dimensional. On the bottom I added some Mellow Moss Taffeta Ribbon, tied a bow with Hemp Twine Natural and added a Designer Button Latte to the center. To finish it off I used the Smooch Spritz Log Cabin to give it a shine!

Directions~

1. You will need a Rectangle Coaster that measures 4" x 5 1/2". Note if you don't have a coaster you can cut heavy chipboard and use.

2. Cut 2 pieces of card stock 4" x 5 1/2" One will be for the front and one for the back. Take the 3/16 Corner Round Punch and round all the corners. Mine was Sahara Sand card stock. I took the Pretty Petals Background Stamp; inked it in Sahara Sand ink and stamped directly onto the card stock.

3. Cut 1 piece of DSP 3" x 4". I used our Sweet Pea DSP.  I took the 3/16 Corner Round Punch and rounded 2 corners only. I snailed it to the Sahara Sand card stock and then using a Sponge Dauber I sponged the edges with Chocolate Chip ink.

4. Cut 1 piece of card stock 1 1/2" x 2 1/2". Mine was Whisper White I then stamped my sentiment from Define Your Life in Chocolate Chip ink. I then took the Butterfly from Flight of the Butterfly inked in Sahara Sand and stamped onto this piece randomly. I then sponged Chocolate Chip Ink around the edges.

5. I wrapped 1" Double Stitched Chocolate Chip ribbon around the center. I then attached the hole piece to the coaster. I placed the back piece on the back to cover up the ribbon. I added 2 buttons from the Fresh Favorites II at the top left hand side.

6. I stamped one butterfly in Taken w Teal cut it out and sponged the edges with Taken with Teal. I put a Stampin' Dimensional on the back and then added a Designer Button Latte to the center. I then stamped the small butterfly in Old Olive cut it out, wrapped some Linen Thread around it and placed a Stampin' Dimensional to the back.

7. At the top I took an Assortment clip, placed a glue dot on the back added a piece of 1/4 Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon to the top of it and slid my sentiment into the clip then attached to the top of the coaster.

This is a progressive scrapbook page. What does that mean? You start out with a 6x6 page go to a 8 1/2 x 11 page and then to a 12 x 12 page. So I'll start out with the
6x6 page first.

6x6 Page~ The base is Sahara Sand. I sponged the edges with Chocolate Chip ink. In the corners on the bottom I took the paw stamp from C Is For Cat; stamped in Sahara Sand and then rolled the edges in Chocolate Chip ink and stamped in the two bottom corners. I took the saying inked it in Basic Black and stamped in the center. Next I mounted the photo on Chocolate Chip card stock. I then wrapped Natural Hemp around the bottom and added a Kraft Corduroy Button to the center; tying the hemp through it. To finish it off I took the Photo Corners Punch, punched out a piece in Basic Black and then added a 5/16th Jumbo Brad to the center.

8 1/2 x 11 Page~ The base is Chocolate Chip. I took the fish stamp; inked it in Chocolate Chip and stamped in the upper right hand side three times. I added a piece of Basic Black Card stock to the center. At the top I used some of our On Board Timeless Type Chipboard to spell out my cat's name. Using the Chocolate Chip Craft pad I stamped the paw all over the letters. After it dried I took a Sponge Dauber and inked it with Sahara Sand ink. On the left hand bottom I added 3 Vintage Brads using the Mat Pack and Paper Piercing-Tool.  On the right side I punched out another photo corner using the Photo Corners Punch in Basic Black. I set a 5/16 Jumbo Brad in the center. This completes the 8 1/2 x 11 Page.

12 x 12 Page~
The base is Basic Black, I cut a piece of Sahara Sand down to 11 1/2 x 11 1/2 to break up the black. Along the edges I stamped the little paw in Sahara Sand ink. I sponged the edges with Chocolate Chip ink, I kept the 12 x 12 Page very simple.

Once I put it together I added my extra embellishments to balance out the page. In the upper right hand corner, I stamped the cat in Chocolate Chip ink and stamped it onto a piece of Sahara Sand card stock. I placed a piece of Basic Black card stock behind it. To the side of the 6 x 6 layout I added a little tab. To create this tab I took the sympathy saying and using the Basic Black Marker I high lighted the part that said Little Friend. I then stamped onto a piece of Sahara Sand card stock. I punched it out using the Curly Label Punch. I sponged the edges with Chocolate Chip ink and tucked it under the 6 x 6 layout. This completed my page!
