Card Share using Vintage Vogue
Hooray it is Friday!!! I love Fridays!!! It has been a very busy and crazy week and it is jut the beginning now that it is starting to get warm here. We have lots of to do lists on our house. Since Stampin' Up! announced the color retirement I've been making my lists and checking them twice. lol I love to scrapbook and have several different ones that I have been working on and of course certain weddings (my cousin and mines) used certain SU colors that are retiring so I've been figuring how much card stock I need to stock up on to finish my projects. Yes it's taking me over 5 years to scrapbook these events, let this be a lesson to those of you out there who procrastinate like I do! lol
Today's share is based off of Monday's 3D Challenge. I took some of the same supplies and made a card. It is supper easy to take a 3D item and used it for inspiration for a card or scrapbook page. My card used the following~
Vintage Vogue Stamp Set Clear Mount item #118598
Sweet Pea DSP item #117161
Pretties Kit item #109114
White Taffeta Ribbon item #109070
Mat Pack item #105826
Paper Piercing Tool item #116631
Sponge Dauber item #102892

The base is Cameo Coral, using a sponge dauber I sponged Cameo Coral ink around the edges. Then a piece of Close to Cocoa, again I sponged Close to Cocoa ink around edges. Next I cut a piece of Blush Blossom, I stamped on it using the Vintage Vogue Stamp Set. I used Blush Blossom ink to stamp and sponged the edges with. I took the Mat Pack and Paper Piercing-Tool and punched the holes across the top and bottom to add a little more.
I cut a piece of our Sweet Pea Designer Paper, stamped the images from Vintage Vogue in Cameo Coral and Close to Cocoa. I sponged the edges with So Saffron ink. I cut a piece of Close to Cocoa, stamped on it and sponged it with Close to Cocoa ink. I took some White Taffeta Ribbon and colored it with the So Saffron Ink and the Sponge Dauber. Using the flowers from the Vintage Vogue set I stamped the big one in Cameo Coral and the small ones in Blush Blossom on Whisper White card stock. I then cut them out. I sponged them with Cameo Coral ink placed Stampin Dimensionals on the back, and added Pearls to the centers from our Pretties Kit!
