Morning and welcome to my blog!!
Are you ready to see the card I made with my background Technique??? All right I will share :) I also did another technique called Rock n Roll. I love this technique and tend to do it quite often. I used 3 stamp sets to create this beauty! I used Razzle Dazzle item #116714, En Francis item # 109521 and Teeny Tiny Wishes item #115370.
My paper is Elegant Eggplant, and More Mustard. Then I cut a piece of Very Vanilla and did my background Technique Very Vintage on it. I used More Mustard classic ink and the En Francis Stamp Set. I sponged the edges with More Mustard to finish it off. For details on how to create the Very Vintage technique go HERE for my tutorial.
Next I took the Razzle Dazzle image and stamped it in Old Olive and then rolled the edges in Elegant Eggplant. This is called the Rock n Roll Technique. Then I cut some Old Olive Pattern DSP and used the Scallop Trim Border Punch on the bottom. I layered the More Mustard, Very Vanilla and the DSP together and tied some 1/4 Elegant Eggplant ribbon around it. I used the Happy Birthday from Teeny Tiny Wishes stamped it in Elegant Eggplant on Very Vanilla card stock, punched it out withe the Word Window Punch. Placed it on the edge of the paper and cut part of the side off. I sponged More Mustard around the edges. Then to finish it off I added 2 Earth Element brads to the left.
