Monday's 3D Challenge using Dasher

Good Morning everyone! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and survived Black Friday! I fell off the wagon on posting to my blog. Its been crazy around here the last few days, and I suspect it will continue well into Jan. lol Today is the last day for the Holiday Extravaganza sale!!! I am sharing my 3D challenge that I posted over on the Stampin' Addicts site! If your a demo be sure to sign up for the demo forums too! The challenge was to make this Holiday Mini Photo Album! Its real simple to do and makes a great inexpensive gift too!!

Directions

1. Cut 2 pieces of Chocolate Chip card stock 4 3/4" x 6" One is for the front and the other is for the back.

2. Cut 1 Designer Series Paper 2" x 6" Make sure to choose 2 different patterns. I used Merry Moments DSP

3. Cut 1 Designer Series Paper 1 1/2" x 6"

4. Cut 1 Real Red card stock 1" x 6" then use the Scallop Edge punch on one side. I went back with the 1/16th hand punch and punched a hole in each scallop.

5. Cut 1 Very Vanilla 2 1/2" x 2 3/4" Stamp your dasher image on this piece.

6. Cut 1 Old Olive 3" x 2 3/4"

7. Cut 1 Very Vanilla 4 1/2" x 5 3/4" this is for the inside to cover the ribbon on the back side of the Chocolate Chip piece. Decorate how you would like!

Happy Thanksgiving!!! Picture Frame using Season of Thanks

Good Morning!! Happy Thanksgiving!!! This is my favorite holiday out of the year!! I love the smells and the food :) Apple pie is my favorite pie!! I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving!!

In honor of Thanksgiving I created the project below! I have to confess I've had this Decor Element since after convention last year and never got around to making this project. lol However this year I did and I made it for our home!! This was my first time using a decor element and yee gads they are awesome!!! Why have I waited so long to play with them!!! They are fun and so simple to use!!!

I used Season of Thanks Decor Element size small in Chocolate item #114887. I also used Autumn Traditions Designer Series Paper item #115668 along with my Big Shot and the Leaves #2 Original die.

Directions~

1. I choose a picture frame for this project. You will need to clean the surface where your going to be placing your Decor Element make sure its dry to before applying it. I put the Decor Element on first, I actually cut it apart and then put it on it made it easier to work with I think.

2. Then I took our Autumn Traditions DSP and cut 2 1/16" x 11" strips in the different patterns. Now you think how did she get that on straight well I'll let you in on my little secret. I took a piece of our Grid Paper and cut it down to fit into the frame and then sticky stripped the pieces on top of it. Worked great!! With our grid paper I was able to line up everything straight and perfect! I took some of our Ribbon Originals Orchard and ran a strip down one side. I secured it to the back with glue dots.

3. I took my Big Shot and Leaves #2 Original Die and ran some leaves off in the Autumn Traditions DSP. I took a Sponge Dauber and added ink to the edges. I placed them, where there was holes from the wording to fill in. I added a Chocolate Chip Corduroy Button with some natural hemp too. On two of the leaves I added some Natural Hemp to jazz them up a little.

Gifts of the Earth

Afternoon!

Yes I am posting  a little late today, been one of those crazy busy days! lol The card that I am about to share with you has been something I tell you! I saw these colors and thought I would give it a try but it turned into a challenge for me! lol

I used Gifts of the Earth item# 116501, this set is from our Holiday Mini. I really loved this set!! My base is Pumpkin Pie, I sponged the edges with Pumpkin Pie ink. Next was a piece of Crushed Curry, then Chocolate Chip. I cut a strip of Old Olive and punched out the edge with the Scallop Edge Punch in each scallop I punched out a hole to add a little more to it. I took some 1" Real Red Double Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon and placed that above the old olive strip. I placed two gold brads off to the right of the card.

I cut a piece of Pumpkin Pie and Chocolate Chip card stock. I sponged the Pumpkin Pie card stock with Pumpkin Pie ink. I stamped the image in Basic Brown ink and then took a blender pen and colored the image in using Real Red, Crushed Curry, Old Olive, and Pumpkin Pie classic ink. Then taped the pieces together and put dimensionals on the back to pop it up.

To finish off the card I took one of our Chocolate Chip corduroy buttons and ran some natural hemp through, the stuck it on the ribbon with the Glue dot. Monday's 3D Challenge

Morning!

If your a demo be sure to sign up for the demo forums too! The challenge was to make this 3D Pumpkin using our Scallop Circle #2 die!!

Directions~
1. Cut 6 Scallops out of Pumpkin Pie and fold each one in half one at a time and sticky strip them together. Sponge the edges.

2. Cut 1 piece of card stock 1/2" x 4 1/4" in Chocolate Chip. Roll around a pencil or pen to get it spiraled. This is for your stem.

3. Take the small Oval Punch, punch a piece out in Old Olive, run it through the crimper, then sponge Old Olive ink on it. Fold in half to make a crease and then attach to your pumpkin with sticky strip.

Christmas Card using Dasher

Morning and welcome to my blog! Wow its Sunday! Were did my two days off go??

The card I am sharing is the last one we made at my Christmas Stamp A Stack and this one was my favorite out of all of them! We used 3 stamp set for this card.

Grateful Greetings item #116511 (this set is out of our Holiday Mini)

The base is Garden Green card stock, next is a piece of Old Olive card stock. I cut a piece of our Merry Moments Designer Series Paper and used the red pattern side. Next was two pieces of Chocolate Chip and two pieces of Merry Moments Designer Series Paper. I placed one of our 5/16th Natural Brads in the bottom left hand corner, I ran some Sleigh Bells Ribbon over all the layers and secured it behind the old olive. I took the Merry Christmas from Teeny Tiny Wishes and stamped in Real Red ink on Very Vanilla card stock and punched it out with the Curly Label Punch.

I cut a piece of Chocolate Chip and Real Red card stock. On the Chocolate Chip I took the mat pack and paper piecer and poked holes on both sides. I cut a piece of Very Vanilla card stock and stamped the Reindeer (Dasher) in Chocolate Chip ink. I then sponged the edges with Old Olive ink. I placed dimensionals behind it to pop it up off the card.

On the inside I cut a piece of Old Olive card stock, I ran a piece of Sleigh Bells Ribbon at the bottom. I took the greeting from Grateful Greetings and stamped it in Chocolate Chip ink.

Home for Christmas Stamp Set

Morning! Happy Weekend!! :) The card that I am sharing today is one that we did at my Christmas Stamp A Stack. I used Home for Christmas Stamp Set item #111756 along with my big shot item #113439.

The base is Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of Real Red card stock, I ran it through my big shot along with the texturz plates SU backgrounds 1. I used the dot one. Then I cut a piece of Soft Suede card stock and a piece of Christmas Cocoa Designer Series Paper. I took the Scallop Edge punch to the Christmas Cocoa Paper and punched out one side. Then went back with the 1/16th hand punch and punched holes in each scallop. I took some Mistletoe ribbon from our Holiday Mini and ran that at the top of the Christmas Cocoa Paper.

I cut a piece of Soft Suede card stock and a piece of Whisper White. I took the image from Home for Christmas inked it up in Soft Suede ink and stamped it on the Whisper White piece. I took a blender pen and the Real Red ink pad and colored in the ribbon on the wreath. I snailed the two pieces together and then put dimensionals on the back to pop it up off the card. Last I added 1/2 White Library Clip to the left of my stamped image to finish off the card.

Christmas Card using Snow Swirled

Morning and welcome to my blog!!! I hope everyone is enjoying the new blog!

Today I am sharing with you a card we did at my Christmas Stamp A Stack! We used two stamp sets for this card. Snow Swirled item #111690 and Teeny Tiny Wishes item #115370.

My base is Garden Green card stock. I cut a piece of Old Olive card stock and ran it through the Big Shot using the Impressions Folder Petals-A-Plenty. I cut a piece of Chocolate Chip card stock to match the same size of the Old Olive. I then cut a piece of our Designer Series Paper Merry Moments and layered that on the Chocolate Chip piece. I took some 3/4" Real Red polka-dot grosgrain ribbon and placed it in the center.

Next I cut a piece of Real Red and Chocolate Chip card stock and layered them together. I cut a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I took the Christmas Tree inked it in Versa Mark Ink and then in Garden Green Ink. I stamped it on the Very Vanilla card stock and then poured Iridescent Ice embossing powder over it and heat set it. Using a sponge dauber I sponged the edges with Chocolate Chip ink. I snailed it to the Chocolate Chip card stock. To the left I placed two old olive brads from our Earth Elements container.

To finish the card I took the Merry Christmas from Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set. I inked it in Chocolate Chip and stamped it on Very Vanilla card stock and punched it out using the Word Window Punch. I took the Modern Label Punch and punched out a piece in Old Olive. Then placed it in the lower left hand corner with dimensionals.

On the inside I cut a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I stamped the greeting from the Snow Swirled Stamp Set in Garden Green ink. I sponged the edges with Chocolate Chip ink. In the bottom right hand corner I stamped the snowflake in 3 different colors, Old Olive, Real Red and Chocolate Chip.

Monday's 3D Challenge using the Lattice Bigz Die

Hello and welcome to my new blog!!!! I am soo excited to finally have this up and running! It took us awhile to get the kinks worked out. We tried to get it done before dh's knee surgery but that didn't happen! lol My wonderful husband designed my website for me! He does this along with 3D modeling and etc.! Without him I would still be working on it! Isn't he awsome! We have a few minor details that we are working on yet so please bear with us!

I am sure some of you are wondering why I changed my name to my blog, in the begining I just used something simple to get a blog up but I wanted something that kind of was me more....yes I am a redneck :) or at least my friends and family tell me this a lot. lol So a group of my wonderful friends helped me with coming up with a new blog name thanks ladies for putting up with me while working on this :)

To create this I used our Big Shot and the Lattice Bigz Die item #115958.

Directions~

1. Cut out 4 Lattice Die cuts in DSP. Fold each piece in half, make sure to have the pattern you want facing out to be on the inside when folding. Then snail each piece together, make sure to leave one open so you can do the next step.

2. Cut 20'' of cord, fold in half to create a loop at the top. On each end add your beads. Place in the center and then snail the remaing two sides together.

Monday's 3D Challenge using Delightful Decorations

Morning and welcome to my blog! I sure didn't realize how much work designing a new blog would be! lol Were almost there though! I wanted to make sure this got posted today so I am posting it here. Today's share is the 3-D challenge I posted over on the Stampin' Addicts site! If your a demo be sure to sign up for the demo forums too! The challenge was to make this 3D Desk Top Picture Holder!I used Delightful Decorations item #116517 from our Holiday Mini Catalog!

Directions~
 1. Cut 1 piece of card stock 4"x 11" Score it at 3/4",5 1/2" 10 1/4" (This is the main part of the stand) I used Ruby Red card stock.
 2. Cut 1 piece of card stock 4" x 2" (this is the bottom piece of the stand) I used Ruby Red card stock you want it to match the main part.
3. Cut 1 Scallop Square out with your big shot. I used our Designer Series Paper Holiday Lounge. I took the 1/16th hand punch and punched holes in the scallops.
 4. Cut 1 piece of card stock 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" (this is for your photo mat) I used Sahara Sand card stock.
 5. I took the ornament from Delightful Decorations and stamped it in Ruby Red ink on Whisper White card stock and cut it out. I took the 2-way glue pen and added dazzling diamonds to the image. Next I took the Ornament Punch and punched out a piece in Whisper White card stock. I placed a dimensional between the Ruby Red piece and Whisper White. I added a strip of our Silver cord behind the ornament. Off to the left I placed 2 5/16th brads off to the left of my photo mat.
