Kiwi Kiss DSP using Bloomin Beautiful

Morning everyone,

Yesterday was an interesting day around here. It was an exciting and a sad day. For the exciting news! We got a good start on our firewood, got the slab pile moved and the best part one of my cards was featured on Stampin' Up! Demo's showcase!! This was my first one to ever be picked in 6 years, it just goes to show you to keep trying and never give up!!! For the sad news one of our family members passed away, it was a blessing but still sad. This morning is the funeral. So I am posting quick.

So for today's share is the card I made to give to his wife and family. I used 2 stamp sets to create this card. I used Bloomin' Beautiful item #111490 and Close As A Memory item #114946. I diecut an Oval out using my Big Shot and Ovals Original die item #114525, then stamped the flower from Bloomin' Beauitful in Black Stazon and colored it in with a blender pen using Elegant Eggplant and Kiwi Kiss. I cut a piece of Kiwi Kiss Patterns DSP item #112161, used the Eyelet Border Punch along the edge. Next I used the Sympathy saying from Close As A Memory stamp set. I inked it in Elegant Eggplant and stamped on the Kiwi Kiss Patterns DSP. They tied a piece of White Organza Ribbon around it. Then popped the Oval up on dimensionals. To finish it off I placed one of our Corduroy Kiwi Kiss Buttons off to the side. I then decorated the envelop with some Elegant Eggplant card stock and Kiwi Kiss Patterns DSP just to give it a little something more!

Today's share is a card I demonstrated at a party! I really loved it and I think everyone else did too! We used the Great Friend Stamp Set item #113792 and Walk in the Park DSP item #115123! I love the set and the paper it goes together so beautifully!! The Paper is part of SU promotion this month! There are only a few day's left, so you don't want to miss out! I used the Big Shot and the SU Backgrounds 1 Texture Plates item #114512 on the Cameo Coral cardstock. I stamped the butterflies in Basic Grey and Baja Breeze and then cut them out. I stamped the friend message in cameo coral ink and cut it out and then used the Matchbox XL Bigz die item #114890 to cut out the tag in Baja Breeze. Then used the Eyelet Border Punch and punched along the Walk in the Park DSP. I attached some white organza ribbon over the DSP and then set a silver eyelet of to the side. I thought it was very pretty!

Today's share is a little box I made with the Big Shot and the Matchbox Bigz XL Die item #114890 in the Occasions Mini! I also used the Walk in the Park DSP item #115123. If you don't have this paper yet you need it!! It is soo pretty!! Almost to hard to cut! lol I made the base out of Baja Breeze Cardstock, I used the Stampin' Up! Little Leaves Sizzlet and made the leaves out of Basic Grey Cardstock, I then used the Eyelet Border Punch and punched an edge along the Walk in the Park DSP and used this for my belly band. I took the Great Friend Stamp Set item # 113792 from the Occasion's Mini and stamped the leaf all over the Baja Breeze Cardstock in Baja Breeze ink. Stamped the for you in Baja Breeze and punched out with the small oval punch. Stamped the butterfly in cameo coral ink and cut that out and placed on my box with a dimensional! This box was so easy to make, these would be great for wedding favors, party gifts, and etc. They are great!!!

Today's share is a layout I created for a Party a few weeks ago! My hostess has really cute grand kids so I thought this page would be perfect for her! My page is pictures of my cousins and god son aren't they stinking cute? I used Cheep Talk Stamp Set item #113204 along with Good Morning DSP item #113966 I used our On Board So Tweet Chipboard, I covered some of it with the Good Morning DSP and craft ink! To make the sun in the background I used the Circle Scissors Plus item #112530. This cutter is awesome! If you don't have one you need one!!!! I then used the Big Shot and the Go Go Boots Alphabet item # 113450 and the Scallop Circle Die item# 113468. Then to finish off the page I used some of our Corduroy Buttons, and Large Grommets! I just love how all of our product goes together! I used some of our Textured Incolor Cardstock for my base. I think this page is just adorable but it does have some of my cute cousins on it too :)

Card using Close as a Memory

Good Morning everyone!
We had a busy day yesterday, I went to the farm and helped my dad start laying all the barbed wire out to start fencing. We got a lot of wire laid out on the ground, I am tired this morning! lol I also got all the rock for my flower bed! Now just have to find some time to build my flower bed! Today will be another busy day we are going to be planting the garden, fencing and then work some cows.

Today's share is a card we made at my stamp-a- stack awhile back. It has Bella Rose DSP item #112041 so it was perfect to share for this months fantastic promotion! We used my Big shot and the SU Background 1 Texture plates on the Pink Pirouette Cardstock. For the stamp set we used Close As a Memory item #114946 we inked the flowers in Riding Hood Red and then stamped them on Whisper White Cardstock. Next took the 3/16th corner rounder to the corners. Then took the Eyelet Border punch item #113692 and punched out along the Bella Rose DSP. We tied some White Organza ribbon around and added two pearls from the pretties kit item #109114 to the side! I just love how this card turned out!

Top Note Mini Album Class/Sneak Peek

Ok I finally got this finished up, I kept fussing with it! lol Here is the sneak peek for the Top Note Mini Album Class. Here is the cover of it! Isn't it just cute!!! My color inspiration came from one of my Mom's hospital uniforms! I just love how the colors look together!

What a beautiful day we had yesterday! I got a lot done outside yesterday, I am currently filling in lots of holes with dirt, and I started on moving and cleaning up the wood pile.
