Happy St. Patty's Day

Good Morning!

I hope everyone is having a great day! The card that I am sharing with you all today is what we made last night at my mystery hostess party! Thanks to all that came last night! I have a great group of gals and I sure laughed a lot last night! I think we all had a great time! My secret sister recently sent me her stamp set to borrow! How awesome is that! So I decided to use it and make a St. Patty's Day card. I must admit I have played with this set a lot and I think I am going to have to get it! lol

The stamp set I used is called Pinch Proof item# 115044 I took the clover stamp and stamped randomly around my two pieces of Basic Black cardstock in Versa Mark, I then pored Gold Embossing powder over it and heat set it. Then I layered a piece of Certainly Celery Cardstock, Brushed Gold Cardstock, and Basic Black Cardstock. For embellishments I added a punched out layered Pinch Proof image of to the left, ran some Certainly Celery 5/8 " Grosgrain Ribbon, I punched a hole through one of the shamrocks and added a Certainly Celery Brad to the center of it. Then stamped Happy St Patrick's Day in the center on Whisper White.

Monday's 3D Challenge Friends 24-7

Happy Monday Morning!!

Today's
little project is the 3-D challenge that I posted over on the Stampin' Addicts site!! Also for those of you that are coming to the Mystery Hostess Party Tonight you are going to get to make this little baby! Yeah baby!! The one for the party tonight is a little different but pretty close! I am looking forward to seeing you ladies tonight!

I created this Stationary Portfolio using the Friends 24-7 stamp set item #113218. I love this set it is one of my all time favorites! I used my Big Shot item #113439 along with my Stampin' Up! Backgrounds 1 Texture Plates item # 114512. I love these texture plates! They rock!! I used them for the Rose Red, Chocolate Chip Background. On the vellum I used Friendly Words Jumbo Wheel item # 114694 I inked the wheel up in Chocolate Chip Craft Ink wheeled directly on the vellum and then pored Clear Embossing Powder over it and heat set it. I loved how this turned out on the vellum!! I then used the Cutter Kit and roughed up the edges of the bird piece and then sponged Chocolate Chip ink around the edges. Then layered them onto the front of my Stationary Portfolio. Here is a tip for punching the border on the vellum..put a piece of cardstock on top of the vellum and run it through the Eyelet Border Punch at the same time, makes it a lot easier to punch and doesn't get snagged. Then I added accessories to jazz it up a bit!

If you would like to purchase the supplies to make this project please feel free to email or call I will help you place an order!

Winter Scrapbook Layout

Good Morning Everyone!

Tomorrow is the last day to RSVP and Pay for the scrapbook class on Wed. March 11th at my home the class fee is $20. We will be making a predesigned 2 page 12x12 layout in a spring theme. All supplies are included in the class fee, along with a light snack! Pleas feel free to email or call me. Today I am sharing with you the scrapbook layout we did last month for my scrapbook class. I demonstrated how to make a progressive scrapbook page. Other words take a 6x6 to and 8 1/2x11 to a 12x12! The theme we did was winter. I really liked how this layout turned out!

I kind of used an unusual color combo for it but I think it gives it a cool breeze feel. I love to scrapbook and that is originally how I got hooked on Stampin" Up! I love stamping in my scrapbooks because I then can give it my own custom look! I stamped randomly all over the paper with the Snow Burst Set in Kiwi Kiss, Basic Grey. I stamped the snowman image from the Jolliest Time of the Year and then colored it in using the blender pen and Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze inks. I love those incolors together! I love my big shot so we used it quite a bit on this layout! I created my title with the Go Go Boots Alphabet Set item # 113450, I used the Snowflakes #2 sizzlet 4-pack dies item #113449 to add a little more to the layout and on the second page I used the decorative strip Swirly item #113456 and then layered the snowflakes on top of the swirly.
If there is anything you see that you would like to purchase I would more than happy to help you out! You can place orders through me or through my online store!
