Today's card I am sharing I created to play along with a color challenge for my Frosty Kisses On-line Class. It uses a set called Plant Hope. This beloved set is retiring!!!!!!! Noooo!!! If you've been wanting it now is the time to get it!!!

My base is Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of Pear Pizzazz card stock. I took the stamp from Curly Cute Stamp Set; inked in Basic Gray and stamped onto the Pear Pizzazz card stock. I used the Mat Pack and Paper-Piercing Tool to pierce a row of holes around the bottom edge. I cut a piece of Baja Breeze card stock, ran it through the Big Shot with the Snow Burst Embossing Folder. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock; punched one side out with the Scallop Trim Border Punch. I cut a piece of Twitterpated Designer Series Paper and glued across the center. I wrapped a piece of 1/2 Baja Breeze Seam Binding around the center. I used the 1 1/4 Circle Punch to punch a piece of Whisper White card stock out. I then cut a piece of Basic Gay, Pear Pizzazz and Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Plant Hope Stamp Set; inked in Baja Breeze and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. I glued all the pieces together and added the punched Whisper White circle and popped it up with Stampin' Dimensionals. I then finished it off by adding some  Mini Silver Brads. See you really need this set!!

Let it Snow!!!

Did the title get your attention?? lol Sorry I haven't been posting the last few days my wonderful dh decided to share his cold with me. That was so sweet of him wasn't it?? NOT I finally feel like I will live! lol Ok back to the title I had another card left to share that I made to play along with a color challenge for my Frosty Kisses Online Class. The ironic part to this they have talked about us getting some snow here maybe this weekend and let me tell you it's been cold enough that it could snow. lol  This card uses the stamp set called Jolliest Time of the Year. I really like this card and I hope you do too!

My base is Whisper White card stock; I rounded the bottom corners with the 3/16 Corner Punch. I cut a piece of Poppy Parade card stock. I took the stamp from Punch Pals Stamp Set; inked in Basic Black and stamped onto the Poppy Parade card stock in the bottom right hand corner. I cut a piece of Marina Mist card stock and ran it through the Big Shot with the Snow Burst Embossing Folder. I glued it to the top of the Poppy Parade card stock. I set some Mini Sliver Brads on the right and bottom left side.  I glued the card stock to the front of the Whisper White card. I cut a piece of Twitterpated Designer Series Paper and Patterns Designer Series Paper Subtles Stack (Marina Mist). I glued them across the center of the card. I then cut a piece of 1/2 Poppy Parade Stitched Poly Ribbon and placed in the center of the two DSP. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Jolliest Time of the Year Stamp Set; inked in Jet Black Stazon and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. I colored the image in with the following Stampin' Write Markers; Basic Gray, Poppy Parade and Marina Mist. I attached to the front of the card with Stampin' Dimenisonals. I then added a Mini Library Clip with a bow made from White Bakers Twine.

I kept the inside simple. I cut a piece of Twitterpated Designer Series Paper and Patterns Designer Series Paper Subtles Stack (Marina Mist). I glued them towards the bottom leaving some of the Whisper White card stock showing. I then cut a piece of 1/2 Poppy Parade Stitched Poly Ribbon and placed in the center of the two DSP.

Now if you remember awhile ago I made a sanitizer holder which you can see HERE. I made this matching little card to go with it! My base is So Saffron. I cut a piece of Crumb Cake card stock. I took the stamp from Punch Pals Stamp Set; inked it in Crumb Cake and stamped it onto the Crumb Cake card stock. I took the stamp from Merry Winter Stamp Set; inked in Chocolate Chip and stamped it onto the bottom of the Crumb Cake card stock. I cut a piece of Pool Party card stock and ran it through the Big Shot with the Snow Burst Embossing Folder. I cut a piece of 1/2 Chocolate Chip Scallop Dots Ribbon and used the back side of the ribbon. I wrapped it around the center of the Pool Party card stock. I set 3 Subtles Brads (So Saffron) into the Pool Party card stock. I cut a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I took the stamp from Merry Winter Stamp Set; inked the snow man in Chocolate Chip and stamped onto the Very Vanilla card stock. I added some Jewels Basic Rhinestones down the front of the snow man. I placed Stampin' Dimensionals onto the back and attached to the front of the card! I took the stamp from Merry Winter Stamp Set; inked in Chocolate Chip and stamped it onto a piece of Crumb Cake card stock. I then punched it out with the Small Oval Punch. I attached to the card with a Stampin' Dimensional. 

On the inside I cut a piece of Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla card stock. I took the stamp from Merry Winter Stamp Set; inked in Chocolate Chip and stamped onto the bottom of the Very Vanilla card stock. I cut a piece of Pool Party card stock ran it through the Big Shot with the Snow Burst Embossing Folder. Then glued it to the Very Vanilla card stock.

Plant Hope Card

Afternoon everyone!

Thank you all who left comments on my blog yesterday and joined us for Stampin' Addicts Stamp Jam and Blog Bouncing! We had a lot of fun! Today I am sharing another card I created to play along with a color challenge for my Frosty Kisses On-line Class. This card uses one of my favorite sets called Plant Hope.

My base is Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of Marina Mist card stock and ran it through the Big Shot with the Snow Burst Embossing Folder. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock and used the Mat Pack and Paper-Piercing Tool to pierce a row of holes around the edge. I cut a piece of Glimmer Paper Silver and glued it across the Marina Mist and Whisper White card stock. I wrapped a piece of 5/8 Whisper Organza Ribbon and 1/8 Marina Mist Taffeta Ribbon. I placed Stampin' Dimensionals onto the back of the Marina Mist card stock and attached it to the front of the Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of Marnia Mist and Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Plant Hope Stamp Set; inked it in Marnia Mist and stamped it onto the Whisper White card stock. I glued the two pieces together and placed Stampin' Dimensionals onto the back. I added some Jewels Basic Rhinestones, double bow made from 1/8 Marina Mist Taffeta with a Clear Rhinestone Brad wrapped around the center and a Hat Pin.

Scrapbook Saddle Up Friday; 8 x 8 Winter Page

Morning all!

It's Friday!! Hooray!!! Every Friday I will be hosting the Scrapbook Saddle Up with y'all!! It will feature a scrapbook layout to a scrapbooking album ideas along with tips, techniques and etc!! Today I am sharing a 8 x 8 page I created to play along with a bonus challenge for my Frosty Kisses Class. Yep another Winter Page but I promise this is the last one....well I hope we don't get any snow. lol

My base is a piece of 8 x 8 Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of Pear Pizzazz card stock next. I took the stamp from Snow Swirled Stamp Set; inked in Whisper White Craft Ink and stamped it onto the Pear Pizzazz card stock.

Tip~ For a winter like feel use White Craft ink on your layout for the background paper.

I cut a piece of Basic Black card stock and glued it to the left side of the page. I cut a piece of Baja Breeze card stock. I took the stamp from Snow Swirled Stamp Set; inked in Baja Breeze and stamped only down the left side of the Baja Breeze card stock. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock for the photo mat and glued it ot the Baja Breeze card stock. I cut a piece of Pear Pizzazz card stock and punched one side out with the Scallop Trim Border Punch. I cut a piece of 1/2 Pear Pizzazz Stitched Poly Ribbon. I notched out one end and then attach across the bottom of the photo mat. I used the Big Shot and and Snowflake #2 Die to die cut out a snow flake in Basic Black. I then attached it to the page on the right side with a 5/8 Neutrals Jumbo Brad.

Tip~ Have a real dark color on your layout? You can balance your layout by tying it in as an embellishments. I did that with mine by die cutting a snowflake out in Basic Black.

To finish the paged I added some Jewels Basic Rhinestones and did my journaling on the left side with a White Gel Pen. This help balance out the page once completed.

Scrapbook Saddle Up; 6 x 6 Winter Page

Morning everyone!

I know I am posting this a day late! My day yesterday didn't go as planned. lol I know some of you are thinking a winter page?? I still have snow here in spots and living in Northern MN we could still get snow yet. lol Every Friday I will be hosting the Scrapbook Saddle Up with y'all!! It will feature a scrapbook layout to a scrapbooking album ideas along with tips, techniques and etc!! Today I am sharing a 6 x 6 page I created to play along with a color challenge for my Frosty Kisses Class. I also am using it for Stampin' Addicts Scrapbook Challenge this week as well. This weeks challenge is to use your stamps to create a journaling spot some how!!

6 x 6 Pages are perfect for highlighting a certain moment or event only. They make wonderful little album gifts for family and friends! My base is a piece of Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Punch Pals Stamp Set; inked in Baja Breeze and stamped all over the Whisper White card stock.

Tip~ Stamps work perfectly to make you own custom background paper!

I cut a piece of Baja Breeze card stock. I took the stamp from Punch Pals Stamp Set; inked in Chocolate Chip and stamped it onto the Baja Breeze card stock. I ran the Baja Breeze card stock through the Big Shot with the Backgrounds 1 Texture Plate. After gluing my Baja Breeze card stock to the Whisper White card stock I took the stamp from Merry Winter Stamp Set; inked it in Chocolate Chip and stamped it in the bottom right hand corner. Then I did my journaling on the top of the sled with the Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Write Marker. For the Photo Mat I cut a piece of Pear Pizzazz and Whisper White card stock. I placed 3 Mini Silver Brads in the upper right hand corner of the photo mat. I glued the photo mat at an angle onto my page.

Tip~ For an interesting look to your layout place your photo mat at an angle.

I took used the Big Shot and the Tasteful Trim Die to die cut out a piece in Chocolate Chip. I glued it to the page across the bottom of the Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of 1/8 Pumpkin Pie Taffeta Ribbon and wrapped that around the page. I die cut out a snowflake in Whisper White card stock with the Big Shot and Northern Frost Die. I punched out a piece of Chocolate Chip card stock with the 3/4" Circle Punch. I took the stamp from Punch Pals inked in Pumpkin Pie and stamped it onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. I punched it out with the 1/2" circle punch. I glued the circles to the snowflake then placed a Mini Silver Brad in the center. I placed a Stampin' Dimensional onto the back and attached over the ribbon on the left side.

TRRSS11~Sketch Challenge

Today over on The Rubber Redneck STAMPede I have posted a new sketch challenge for this week! I love this sketch challenge and I hope you have time to play along!! Below is the sketch and card I created for inspiration! Some of you may have already seen this card; this card is doing double duty it was used for a color challenge for my Frosty Kisses Class as well. It’s a fun card and I thought it would be perfect for a sketch challenge!

Today I am sharing this little 3 x 3 card. I created this to play along with a color challenge in my Frosty Kisses Class! This little card was made using the Merry Winter Stamp Set, this is a fun little set and was one of the sets I featured in the Frosty Kisses Class!!!

My base is Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of Baja Breeze card stock. I took the stamp from Merry Winter Stamp Set; inked in Baja Breeze and stamped down on the left side of the Baja Breeze card stock. I wrapped a piece of Blushing Bride 1/2 Stitched Poly Ribbon around the center. I took the Small Oval Punch and punched a piece of Not Quite Navy card stock. I used the Mat Pack and Paper-Piercing Tool to punch holes around the oval. I slid it in under the Blushing Bride 1/2 Stitched Poly Ribbon. I placed some Stampin' Dimensionals onto the back of the Baja Breeze card stock and attached to the front of the Whisper White card. I cut a piece of Wild Wasabi card stock. I took the stamp from Merry Winter Stamp Set; inked in Not Quite Navy and stamped it on the bottom of the Wild Wasabi card stock. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Merry Winter Stamp Set; inked in Jet Black Stazon and stamped it onto the Whisper White card stock. I then colored in the snow man with the following Stampin' Write Markers; Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze and Wild Wasabi. I glued the Whisper White card stock to the Wild Wasabi card stock then added some Jewels Basic Rhinestones down the front of the snowman. I added some Stampin' Dimensionals onto the back of the Wild Wasabi card stock and attached to the Baja Breeze card stock. To finish off the card I added a Twitterpated Designer Buttons with a Baker's Twine White Bow. I then added some Jewels Basic Rhinestones to the Baja Breeze card stock.

Directions~
  Note~ I recommend watching the tutorial video to understand the scoring part and were to cut the excess card stock off.

1. Cut 1 piece of Crumb Cake card stock 3 1/2" x 9 1/4". Turn the card stock vertical and score 1" in on the two sides. Turn the card stock horizontal and score at 1", 2", 3" (only to the 1" score line) 5 1/4" and 6 1/4". Take the stamp from Serene Snowflake Stamp Set; ink it in Crumb Cake and stamp all over the Crumb Cake card stock. Assemble the box as shown in the video. Wrap a piece of 3/8 So Saffron Taffeta ribbon around the center and tie at the top.

2. Cut 1 piece of Pool Party card stock 1 1/4" x 2 1/2". Run the card stock through the Big Shot with the Snow Burst Embossing Folder.

3. Using the Big Shot and Labels Collection Framelits; die cut out one in Whisper White card stock. Take the stamp from Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set; ink it in Chocolate Chip and stamp onto the Whisper White card stock. Snail this piece to the Pool Party card stock on the back.

4. Cut 1 piece of Crumb Cake card stock 1" x 2 1/4". Take the stamp from Merry Winter Stamp Set; ink it in Chocolate Chip and stamp onto the Crumb Cake card stock. Take the stamp from Serene Snowflakes Stamp Set; ink in Crumb Cake and stamp around the edges of the Crumb Cake ink. Snail the Crumb Cake card stock to the Pool Party card stock. Place Stampin' Dimensionals on the side and attach to the front of the Hand Sanitzer Holder. Then added some Jewels Basic Rhinestones to the snowman.
