Bootiful Occasions Card

Morning all!

I hope you had a great weekend! We had a pretty busy week and weekend here. I took my dad for some tests on his heart and I am happy to say they came back good!! He still has to have a few more tests to figure out what is going on but at least they don't think it's his heart!! Then we celebrated my dad and brother's birthday so it was another trip out of town. lol I can say I am tired but it was fun!!

Today I am sharing a card I created to play along with a challenge for my Frosty Kisses On-line Class. It uses the stamp set called Bootiful Occasions this is a fun and cute set to use!!! My base is Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of Island Indigo and Whisper White card stock next. I ran the Whisper White card stock through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. I cut a piece of the 2011-2013 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack (Island Indigo pattern). I glued it to the bottom of the Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of Bashful Blue card stock and ran it through the Big Shot with the Delicate Designs Embossing Folder. I punched out a piece of Glimmer Paper Silver with the 2 3/8 Scallop Circle Punch. I then wrapped some of the 5/8 Organza Ribbon around the center of the card stock. I added a loop of 5/8 Whisper White Organza Ribbon to the other piece of ribbon. I attached all the layers to the front of the Whisper White card with Stampin' Dimensionals. I cut a piece of Island Indigo and Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Bootiful Occasions Stamp Set; inked in Jet Black Stazon and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. I colored the boot in with Bashful Blue Stampin' Write Marker. I added some Dazzling Details Silver Sparkle to the boot. I glued the Whisper White card stock to the Island Indigo card stock. I attached the card stock with Stampin' Dimensionals. I then added a Subtles Designer Button with a Large Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the center. I finished it off by adding Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

My base is Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of Basic Gray card stock and glued it onto the left side of the card. I cut a piece of In Color 2011-2013 Designer Series Paper Stack (Pool Party) and glued that to the Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of Print Poetry Designer Series Paper Stack. I then wrapped some 1 1/4 Two-Tone Basic Gray/Basic Black Ribbon around the piece of Designer Series Paper. I wrapped a piece of 3/8 Midnight Muse Stitched Ribbon on top of the 1 1/4 Two-Tone Basic Gray/Basic Black Ribbon. I then glued all of this to the center of the card. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Snow Much Fun Stamp Set; inked in Jet Black Stazon and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. I then colored in the image using the Many Marvelous Markers, 2011-2013 In Color Stampin' Write Markers and 2012-2014 In Color Stampin' Write Markers. To do my shading on the snow man I used the Blender Pen and the Basic Gray Marker. I then glued the Whisper White card stock to the center of the card. I then added a 3/8 Midnight Muse Stitched Ribbon Bow with a Neutrals Designer Button. I placed a Large Rhinestone Jewel into the center of the button. I placed Rhinestone Jewels on the right side of the card.

My base is Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of Basic Gray card stock and use the 3/16 Corner Punch to punch the upper right hand corner. I ran it through the Big Shot with the Argyle Embossing Folder. I cut a piece of 2011-2013 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack (Pool Party). I glued it to the Basic Gray card stock. I cut a piece of Basic Gray card stock and punched it with the Scallop Trim Border Punch. I cut a piece Glimmer Paper Silver. I wrapped some Pool Party Baker's Twine around the layers of paper. I glued all the layers to the front of the Whisper White card.

I cut a piece of Pool Party and Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from No Peeking Stamp Set; inked in Jet Black Stazon and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. I used the 2011-2013 In Color Stampin' Write Markers to color in the snowman image. I glued the Whisper White and Pool Party card stock together. I took the stamp from Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set; inked in Basic Gray and stamped onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. I used the 3/16 Corner Punch to round the corners then attached it to the back of the Pool Party card stock. I created a bow out of the Pool Party Baker's Twine and attached to the card stock with a Glimmer Brad Basics. I then added some Rhinestones Basic Jewels to the snowman's hat. I attached the stamped snowman image to the front of the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

My base is Whisper White card stock. I cut another piece of Whisper White card stock.  I took the Paper-Piercing Tool, Stampin' Pierce Mat and Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack and pierce a row of holes across the bottom of the Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of of 2011-2013 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack (Island Indigo) and glued it across the bottom of the Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of 2011-2013 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack (Pool Party) and glued it to the Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of Glimmer Paper Silver and placed across the two pieces of Designer Series Paper. 

I cut another piece of Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Curly Cute Stamp Set; inked in Island Indigo and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Madison Avenue Stamp Set; inked in Pool Party and stamped on the Whisper White card stock. I glued it to the center and wrapped some Island Indigo Baker's Twine around. I placed Stampin' Dimensionals onto the back of the Whisper White card stock and attached it to the front of the Whisper White card. I took the stamp from Madison Avenue Stamp Set; inked in Island Indigo and stamped onto Whisper White card stock so I had 3. I punched out the images using the 1/2" Circle Punch. I then attached them with Stampin' Dimensionals to the center's of the Pool Party images. To finish it off I added a Vintage Faceted Designer Button and two Rhinestone Basic Jewel on the right side.

Morning all and Happy Friday!!

I wanted to share something special with you all today!!! Recently another demo and fellow friend Mary Ann emailed me a very kind and heart warming message about scrapbooking and how much it was a struggle for her. She recently made a beautiful page of her special dog that has passed away. I HAD to share the link to her blog The Joy of Stamping because she did a beautiful job!!! If you have time stop by her blog and see her beautiful page!! I feel like a proud momma!! lol It is very easy to scrapbook just think of it as a bigger card :)  

Every Friday I will be hosting the Scrapbook Saddle Up with y'all!! It will feature a scrapbook layout to a scrapbooking album ideas along with tips, techniques and etc!! Today I am sharing a 8 x 8 page layout!  This page uses the Stamp Set Snow Swirled. My base is Crumb Cake card stock. I cut a piece of Pool Party card stock. I took the stamp from Snow Swirled Stamp Set; inked in Pool Party and stamped onto the top half of the Pool Party card stock. I took the Paper-Piercing Tool and Stampin' Pierce Mat and added some paper-piercing in the bottom corners on the Pool Party card stock. I glued the Pool Party card stock to the Crumb Cake card stock.

Tip~ Leave a 1/2" border around your next layer of card stock to help make the page look like it has more depth.

I cut a piece of 2011-2013 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack (Lucky Limeade) and glued it across the page. Using the Scallop Oval Punch I punched out a piece of So Saffron card stock. I then used the Crumb Cake Stampin' Write Marker to write on the punched So Saffron card stock. I cut two piece of Very Vanilla card stock for my photo mats. I glued them at an angle onto the Pool Party card stock.

Tip~ angle your photo mats to create an interesting layout. You can also use one photo mat as the journaling area too!!!

I cut a piece of Subtles Color Collection Designer Series Paper Stack (So Saffron). I used the 3/16 corner punch to round the upper corners. I then glued it to the Pool Party card stock over lapping the photo mats. I took the stamp from Fabulous Phrases Stamp Set; inked in Pool Party and stamped onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I used the 3 1/16 Corner Punch to round the bottom corners on the Very Vanilla card stock.

Tip~ Use the 3/16 Corner Punch to create a tag effect to your card stock.

I cut a piece of 7/8 Natural Cotton Ribbon. I took the stamps from Snow Swirled Stamp Set; inked them in Pool Party, and Lucky Limeade and stamped onto the ribbon. I punched a piece of Crumb Cake card stock out with the 2 3/8 Scallop Circle Punch. I used the Paper-Piercing Tool and Stampin' Pierce Mat to add holes to each scallop. I took the stamp from Snow Swirled Stamp Set; inked in Pool Party and stamped onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I then punched it out with the 1 3/4" Scallop Circle Punch. I placed a Builder Brad in the center. I took the stamp from Snow Swirled Stamp Set; inked in Lucky Limeade and stamped onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I then punched it out with the 3/4" Circle Punch.  I attached to the Builder Brad with a Glue Dot. I attached all the scallop circles to the page with Stampin' Dimensionals. I then finished it off by placing some Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the layout.

Every Friday I will be hosting the Scrapbook Saddle Up with y'all!! It will feature a scrapbook layout to a scrapbooking album ideas along with tips, techniques and etc!! Today I am sharing a 6 x 6 page layout!  This page uses the Stamp Set No Peeking. My base is Basic Gray card stock. I cut a piece of Wisteria Wonder card stock. I took the Background Stamp Distressed Dots; inked in Wisteria Wonder and stamped on the Wisteria Wonder card stock.

Tip~ Used  a dotted stamp to create a "snow like" background on your paper.

I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock. I used the 3/16 Corner Punch to round the upper left corner. I used the Paper-Piercing Tool, Stampin' Pierce Mat and Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack to add a row of paper piercing across the bottom of the Whisper White card stock. I cut a  piece of 2011-2013 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack (Lucky Limeade). I cut a piece of Glimmer Paper Silver and notched out the left side. I then wrapped some Wisteria Wonder Baker's Twine around the page. I punched out a piece of Basic Gray card stock with the Decorative Label Punch. I used the Paper-Piercing Tool and Stampin' Pierce Mat to pierce holes around the edge of the Basic Gray card stock on the left side.

Tip~ Add a little paper piercing to any where on your page will add some subtle detail.

I took the stamp from No Peeking Stamp Set; inked in Jet Black Stazon and stamped onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. I punched out the image with the Extra-Large Oval Punch. I colored the image in with the 2011-2013 In Color Stampin' Write Markers. I added some Silver Sparkle Dazzling Details to the hat. I attached the pieces of card stock to the page with Stampin' Dimensionals. I then added a Neutrals Designer Button with a 3/8 Designer Printed In Color Brad. I then placed 2 Rhinestone Basic Jewels on the left side of the Whisper White card stock.

My base is Rose Red card stock. I took the stamp from Make a Mitten Stamp Set; inked in Rose Red and stamped onto the card stock; I repeated it until I have the image stamped across the bottom.

Tip~ To line up an image to use over and over as a border use the Stamp-a-ma-jig.

I took the stamp from Make a Mitten Stamp Set; inked in Early Espresso and stamped onto the Rose Red card stock at the bottom and in the upper right corner. I cut a piece of Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper Stack (Lucky Limeade pattern) and glued it to the left side of the page. I cut another piece of Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper Stack (Early Espresso pattern). I cut a piece of More Mustard and Whisper White card stock. I took the White Gel Pen and drew fake sitiching around the right side and across the bottom of the More Mustard card stock.

Tip~ add faking stitching to your layout using a White Gel Pen.

I used the Big Shot and the Large Scallop Edgelit to die cut out a piece of Early Espresso card stock. I then used the Paper-Piercing Tool, Stampin' Pierce Mat and Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack to add some paper piercing to the Early Espresso card stock. I wrapped a piece of 3/8 Lucky Limeade Ruffled Ribbon around the page. I took the stamps form Make a Mitten Stamp Set; inked them in Rose Red and Lucky Limeade. I stamped onto Whisper White card stock and then punched them out with the Mitten Builder Punch. I attached them to the left side of the page with Stampin' Dimensionals. I added a 1/4 Sweater Trim Whisper White Bow to above the mittens. I placed a Subtles Designer Button in the center with a Lucky Limeade Baker's Twine Bow. I then added Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the centers of the snowflakes.

Snow Swirled Hot Chocolate Holder

Morning everyone!

I hope you all had a great weekend! Today I am sharing a Hot Chocolate Holder I created!! All my club members recieved this little treat this month with there orders. This Hot Chocolate Holder uses the stamp set called Snow Swirled. This set has been around for awhile but is one of my go to sets a lot!!

Directions~

1.  Cut 1 piece of Basic Gray card stock 4” x 4”. Score the card stock at 1”, 1 ½”.

2. Cut 1 piece of Pool Party card stock 3” x 4”. Run it through the Big Shot with the Honeycomb Embossing Folder. Glue the Pool Party card stock to the Basic Gray card stock on the 1” space of the Basic Gray card stock.

3. Cut 1 piece of Basic Gray card stock 2 ½” x 3”. Run it through the Basic Gray card stock with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder and glue it to the Pool Party card stock on the left side. Punch a piece of Pool Party card stock out with the Decorative Label Punch and glue it to the Basic Gray card stock on the left side. Tie a piece of 3/8 Midnight Muse Stitched Ribbon around the card stock to hold the hot chocolate in. Die cut out a piece of Whisper White card stock using the Window Frames Collection Framelits Dies and the Big Shot. Take the stamps from the Snow Swirled Stamp Set; ink it in Pool Party, and Basic Gray and stamp onto the Whisper White card stock. Attach it with Stampin’ Dimensionals onto front of the Hot Chocolate Holder.  Take the stamp from Curly Cute Stamp Set; ink it in Midnight Muse and stamp onto a piece of Whisper White card and attach it across the bottom of the hot chocolate holder. Then added some Large Rhinestone Basic Jewels and Rhinestone Basic Jewel.

My base is Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of Pear Pizzazz card stock. I took the stamp from Curly Cute Stamp Set; inked in Basic Gray and stamped onto the Pear Pizzazz card stock. I used the Mat Pack and Paper-Piercing Tool to pierce a row of holes around the bottom edge. I cut a piece of Baja Breeze card stock, ran it through the Big Shot with the Snow Burst Embossing Folder. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock; punched one side out with the Scallop Trim Border Punch. I cut a piece of Twitterpated Designer Series Paper and glued across the center. I wrapped a piece of 1/2 Baja Breeze Seam Binding around the center. I used the 1 1/4 Circle Punch to punch a piece of Whisper White card stock out. I then cut a piece of Basic Gay, Pear Pizzazz and Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Plant Hope Stamp Set; inked in Baja Breeze and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. I glued all the pieces together and added the punched Whisper White circle and popped it up with Stampin' Dimensionals. I then finished it off by adding some  Mini Silver Brads. See you really need this set!!
