Bright Blossom Note or Mini Postcard

Morning everyone!

I hope you all had a great weekend!  Sunday was dh's and mine wedding anniversary. He is on vacation this week and we are working like crazy to get projects done here and at my parents farm. We got my parents new front door installed and started to work on the old garage's roof so we spent good quality time together yesterday. lol We found out on Friday that finally after almost two years of fighting with work comp that he has been approved to have his 3rd knee surgery. So were trying to get as much stuff done as we can this week along with jobs thrown in there too. So I hope to post every day this week but depends how the day goes. lol

Today I am sharing a mini note or postcard that I created. I wanted to have a little thank you note on hand but didn't want it to be just blah post-it note so I came up with this. It uses the Bright Blossoms Stamp Set and the Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper. I love these two products not sure why as I am not a bright colored person but they are so yummy together! Along with the project I have a video tutorial for you today!

Directions~

1. Cut 1 3 ½” x 3 ½” piece of Pacific Point card stock.

2. Cut 1 3 ¼” x 3 ¼” piece of Whisper White card stock.

3. Cut 1 3” x 3” piece of Tangerine Tango card stock. Run the card stock through the Big Shot with the Argyle Embossing Folder. Glue the pieces of card stock together.

4. Punch 1 piece of Whisper White card stock out with the 2 ½” Circle Punch. Take the stamps from Bright Blossoms Stamp Set and ink them in Lucky Limeade, Real Red then stamp them onto the Whisper White circle. Glue the Whisper White circle to the Tangerine Tango card stock.

5. Cut 1 ½” x 3 ½ ” piece of Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper (Red Dots) notch out the end then glue across the bottom of the Tangerine Tango card stock.

6. Cut 1 ½” x 3 ¼” piece of Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper (Yellow Pattern) notch out the end then glue across the Whisper White circle and other piece of Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper (Red Dots).

7. Take the stamp from Fabulous Phrases Stamp Set; ink it in Tangerine Tango and stamp onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. Then use part of the Curly Label Punch to punch it out. Glue it over lapping the Whisper White circle and Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper.

8. Cut 2 ¾” of ¼ Pacific Point Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon. Notch out the one end and attach across the bottom with Glue Dots. Using the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack;  punch out a piece of Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper (Tangerine Tango) then attach it to a Bitty Button. Attach it to the card stock with a Glue Dot. Then add a White Baker’s Twine Bow to the button. Place 2 Jewels Basic Rhinestones to the circles.

3 x 3 Bright Blossoms Note Card

Morning stampers!

I know where have I been??? It's been a tad crazy here for us between family events, work, farm work, and working on major remodel projects there just hasn't been time for me to get into the craft room. Now were in crunch time to finish up some of these projects before winter gets here. I crumba! Today I am sharing a little 3 x 3 Note Card. I created this card to play along with a color challenge in my Fresh Cuts On-line Class. This fun little note card uses the stamp set called Bright Blossoms.

My base is Pacific Point card stock. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock. I used the 3/16 Corner Punch to round the upper left hand corner of the Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of Tangerine Tango and Whisper White card stock. I took the stamps from Bright Blossoms Stamp Set; inked them in Lucky Limeade and Real Red and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Fabulous Phrases Stamp Set; inked in Tangerine Tango and stamped onto the left side of the Whisper White card stock towards the top. I then used the 3/16 Corner Punch to round the upper left hand corner. I cut two different patterns of the Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper for across the bottom. Then I tied a piece of 1/4 Pacific Point Stitched Ribbon around the layers of card stock. I then placed Stampin' Dimensionals onto the back of the layers of card stock and attached to the front of the Pacific Point card stock. I finished off the front by adding some Jewels Basic Rhinestones to the Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper.

I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock.I cut a piece of Tangerine Tango and Whisper White card stock. I took the stamps from Bright Blossoms Stamp Set; inked them in Lucky Limeade and Real Red and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock.  I then used the 3/16 Corner Punch to round the upper left hand corner. I cut two different patterns of the Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper for across the bottom.

Another Mixed Bunch Card

My base is Not Quite Navy card stock. I took the Distressed Background Stamp; inked in Not Quite Navy and stamped onto the Not Quite Navy card front. I cut a piece of Pink Pirouette and Old Olive card stock. I ran the Old Olive card stock through the Big Shot with the Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder. I glued these two pieces together. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Mixed Bunch Stamp Set; inked in Pink Pirouette and stamped all over the Whisper White card stock. I used the 3/16 Corner Punch in the upper right hand corner to round the Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Curly Cute Stamp Set; inked in Not Quite Navy and stamped it in the upper right hand corner. I used the Paper-Piercing Tool, Stampin' Pierce Mat and Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack to add a row of pierced holes across the bottom.

I glued the Whisper White card stock to the Old Olive. I cut a piece of Not Quite Navy card stock; punched with the Scallop Trim Border Punch. I glued that across the card stock. I then wrapped some 1/2 Old Olive Scallop Dots ribbon just below the punched Not Quite Navy card stock. I attached all the layers to the front of the Not Quite Navy card stock with Stampin' Dimensionals. I used the Blossom Punch to punch out a piece of Pink Pirouette card stock. I attached that with Stampin' Dimensionals. I took the stamp from Mixed Bunch Stamp Set; inked in Not Quite Navy and stamped onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. I then cut out the flower and attached it to the other flower with Stampin' Dimensionals. In the center I added a Brights Designer Button and some Jewels Basic Rhinestones.

On the inside I cut a piece of Pink Pirouette, Old Olive and Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Mixed Bunch Stamp Set; inked in Pink Pirouette and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock across the bottom and right side. I cut a piece of Not Quite Navy card stock and punched it out with the Scallop Trim Border Punch. I then wrapped some 1/2 Old Olive Scallop Dots ribbon around the card stock. I then glued everything to the inside of the card.

Where have I been?? My brother came home on Friday and the rest of the family was coming to our house for Father's Day. While getting ready for all the company to come my washer decided that day it was time to NOT work. lol  A warning to all if you have pets and have pet beds filled with cotton DO NOT wash them in your washer. The pet bed fell apart and plugged up the washer. What a mess!! ROTFL It turned into a 1am project for dh, I and my brother and it was quite the experience and a lesson learned. I decided since the family was home to just take the weekend off and have fun with everyone!

Today I am sharing a card I created to play along with a color challenge for my Summer Fun On-line Class. It uses the set called Fruit and Flowers. It is really a cute and fun stamp set to use!

My base is Real Red card stock. I cut a piece of Lucky Limeade and Bashful Blue card stock. I took the stamp from Fruit and Flowers Stamp Set; inked in Bashful Blue and stamped all over the card stock. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock. I took the stamps from Fruit and Flowers Stamp Set; inked them in Bashful Blue and Real Red and stamped all over the Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Fabulous Phrases Stamp Set; inked it in Tangerine Tango and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of Brights Patterns Designer Series Paper (Tangerine Tango) and glued it across the card stock. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock and notched out the one end. I then added a row of paper piercing to the Whisper White card stock.

I wrapped some Lucky Limeade's Baker Twine around the card stock. I glued all the layers to the Real Red card front. I took the stamp from Fruit and Flowers Stamp Set; inked in Real Red and stamped onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. I cut out the flower image and popped it up with Stampin' Dimensionals over the Baker's Twine. I took the stamp from Fruit and Flowers Stamp Set; inked in Bashful Blue and stamped onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. I then punched it out with the 1/2 Circle Punch. I added a Bitty Button to the center of the flower. I then added a Jewels Basic Rhinestone to the center of the button into the center of some of the flowers stamped on the Whisper White card stock.  

On the inside of the card I cut a piece of Lucky Limeade, Bashful Blue and Whisper White card stock. I took the stamps from Fruit and Flowers Stamp Set; inked them in Real Red, Bashful Blue and stamped on the right side of the Whisper White card stock. I then cut a strip of Brights Patterns Designer Series Paper and glued it to the right side. I then wrapped some Lucky Limeade Baker's Twine around the DSP.

Scrapbook Saddle Up Friday; Mixed Bunch Layout

Happy Friday!!!

I will be hosting the Scrapbook Saddle Up with y'all!! It will feature a scrapbook layout to a scrapbooking album ideas along with tips, techniques and etc!! Today I am sharing a fun 8 x 8 page. This page uses the set called Mixed Bunch. I created this to play along with a challenge for my Summer Fun On-line Class. Below is a sketch I created for this layout that you can take and use for anytime of the year!

My base is Pacific Point card stock. I cut a piece of Old Olive card stock next. I took the stamp from Mixed Bunch Stamp Set; inked in Old Olive. I stamped across the top and part ways down the side of the Old Olive card stock. I glue the Old Olive card stock to the right side of the layout.

Tip~ If you want your journaling on your layout to stand out a little more then leave an area free of any stamping.

I cut a piece of Crumb Cake card stock. I used the Simply Scored to add a square pattern to the Crumb Cake card stock. I glued the Crumb Cake card stock to the left side of the layout.

Tip~ The Simply Scored is perfect for creating your own embossed pattern card stock in any size!

I cut a piece of Brights Patterns Designer Series Paper (Daffodil Delight) and glued it over lapping the Crumb Cake and Old Olive card stock. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock for the Photo Mat. I used the Curly Label Punch; to punch a piece of Old Olive card stock out. I used the Pacific Point Stampin' Write Marker to write onto the tab I created. I then glued it to the left side of the Whisper White photo mat.

Tip~ Use tags to journal just the date or year on your layout somewhere.

I cut a piece of Crumb Cake card stock and then punched it out with the Scallop Trim Border Punch. I glued it below the photo mat. I cut a piece of 1/2 Old Olive Scallop Dots Ribbon and wrapped it around the card stock over lapping the punched Crumb Cake card stock. I took the stamp from Mixed Bunch Stamp Set; inked in Pacific Point and stamped two flowers onto Whisper White card stock. I then cut each flower out and attached to the layout with Stampin' Dimensionals. I took the stamp from Mixed Bunch Stamp Set; inked in Daffodil Delight and stamped onto Whisper White card stock. I punched the stamped images with the 3/4" Circle Punch. I glued them to the center of the flowers. To finish off the layout I then placed some Mini Silver Brads onto the layout.

Here is the sketch of the layout. You can take this sketch and use different product to suite your need! If you don't scrapbook you can still use the same layout on the front of your card!

I created this card to play along with a color challenge for my Summer Fun On-line Class! My base is Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of Bashful Blue card stock and ran it through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. I cut a piece of Rose Red and Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from My Friend Stamp Set; inked in Bashful Blue and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from My Friend Stamp Set; inked in Wild Wasabi and stamped in the upper right hand corner of the Whisper White card stock. I glued the Whisper White card stock to the Rose Red card stock. I took the Paper-Piercing Tool and Mat Pack and pierced a row of holes across the Rose Red card stock. I cut a piece of Subtles Patterns Designer Series Paper and glued it to the Rose Red card stock. I cut a piece of 5/8 Whisper White Organza Ribbon and created a ruffle and attached across the DSP. I placed Stampin' Dimensionals onto the back of the Bashful Blue card stock and attach to the Whisper White card stock. I took a Subtles Designer Button and tied some White Baker's Twine through the button and attached to the 5/8 Whisper White Organza Ribbon.

I cut a piece of Berry Blossom Designer Series Paper (Black Polka Dot Pattern) and glued it to the center. I cut a piece of Berry Blossom Designer Series Paper (Purple Pattern) and glued it to the center. I cut a piece of Domestic Goddess Designer Series Paper (Blue Plaid Pattern) and glued it to the center. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Curly Cute Stamp Set; inked in Pool Party and stamped in the upper right hand corner of the Whisper White card stock. I wrapped a piece of 1/2 Basic Black Scallop Dots around the center of the card stock. I took the stamps from Raining Flowers Stamp Set; inked them in Wisteria Wonder and Pool Party and stamped onto Whisper White card stock. I cut out the images and popped them up with Stampin' Dimensionals and then added some Basic Glimmer Brads to the center. I then added some Jewels Basic Rhinestones to the card.

My base is Early Espresso card stock. I cut a piece of Blushing Bride card stock and ran it through the Big Shot with the Perfect Details Texture Plate. I cut a piece of Letters to Santa Designer Series Paper to go across the bottom of the card. I cut some 1/2 Pear Pizzazz Pleated Satin Ribbon and attached it to the card. I cut a piece of Early Espresso and Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Fabulous Florets Stamp Set; inked in Pear Pizzazz and stamped it onto the Whisper White card stock. I glued the two pieces of card stock together and then attached it with Stampin' Dimensionals to the card front. I took the stamp from Fabulous Florets Stamp Set;  inked in Blushing Bride and stamped it onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. I cut the image out and popped it up with a Stampin' Dimensional. I took the stamp from Loving Thoughts Stamp Set; inked in Early Espresso and stamped it onto Whisper White card stock. I cut it into a Banner and then attached across the card. To finish it off I added some Jewels Basic Pearls to the card.

On the inside I cut a piece of Blushing Bride and Whisper White card stock. I glued the two pieces together. I cut a piece of Letters to Santa Designer Series Paper and glued it across the bottom.

Mixed Bunch Card

Morning everyone!

Today I am sharing another card I created to play along with a color challenge for my "SPRING" Time On-line Class. This card uses some of the beautiful product from the Occasions Mini!! The set that is used on the card is called Mixed Bunch.

My base is Basic Gray card stock. I took the stamp from Mixed Bunch Stamp Set; inked in Basic Gray and stamped it all over the card stock. I cut a piece of Pocketful of Posies Designer Series Paper and glued it across the bottom. I cut a piece of Very Vanilla card stock and punched one side out with the Scallop Trim Border Punch. I took the En Francais Background Stamp; inked in Soft Suede and stamped onto the Very Vanilla card stock. I cut a piece of Soft Suede card stock and ran it through the Big Shot with the Final Press Embossing Folder. Using the Big Shot and Scallop Square Duo Die I die cut out a square in Rich Razzleberry. I cut a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I took the En Francais Background Stamp; inked in Soft Suede and stamped it onto the Very Vanilla card stock. I cut a piece of 3/8 Pear Pizzazz Pleated Satin Ribbon and placed it in the center of the card. I used the Blossom Punch to punch a flower out in Basic Gray; I attached it with a Stampin' Dimensional. I took the stamp from Mixed Bunch Stamp Set; inked in Soft Suede and stamped it onto Very Vanilla card stock. I cut the image out and attached it to the Basic Gray card stock with a Stampin' Dimensional. I took the stamp from Mixed Bunch Stamp Set; inked in Rich Razzleberry and stamped it onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I punched it out with the 3/4" Circle Punch. I attached it to the center of the flower with Stampin' Dimensional. I then finished off the card by adding some Jewels Basic Pearls.

On the inside I cut  a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I took the stamps from Mixed Bunch Stamp Set; inked one in Basic Gray and one in Soft Suede. I then stamped across the bottom and the right side of the Very Vanilla card stock. I cut a piece of Pocketful of Posies Designer Series Paper and Soft Suede card stock. I ran the Soft Suede card stock through the Big Shot with the Final Press Embossing Folder. I cut  a piece of 3/8 Pear Pizzazz Pleated Satin Ribbon and placed in the center.
