Inspired by Nature Card

Morning everyone!

Today I have another Fall card to share with you! I made this to play along with a color challenge for my Fall Fest on-line class.

My base is Soft Suede card stock. I cut a piece of Cajun Craze card stock next. I then cut 2 pieces of Paisley Prints Designer Series Paper in two different patterns. I cut a piece of Soft Suede card stock; then punched one side out with the Scallop Edge Punch. I then pierced holes in each scallop. I cut a piece of Cajun Craze card stock; ran it through the Big Shot with the Houndstooth Embossing Folder. I cut a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I took the stamp from Inspired by Nature Stamp Set; sponged the ink onto the stamp and stamped onto the Very Vanilla card stock. I sponged the edge of the Very Vanilla card stock with Soft Suede ink. I wrapped a piece of 3/8 Soft Suede around the bottom of the card stock. I snailed the card stock to the center of the card. Then placed Stampin' Dimensionals onto the back of the Cajun Craze card stock and attached to the Soft Suede card front. I took the stamp from Inspired by Nature Stamp Set; inked in Cajun Craze and stamped it onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I then punched it out with Extra Large Oval Punch. I sponged the edges with Soft Suede ink. I placed Stampin' Dimensionals on the back and attached to the card. To finish it off I added some Jewels Basic Pearls to the card.

On the inside I cut a piece of Cajun Craze and Very Vanilla card stock. I sponged the edges of the Very Vanilla card stock with Soft Suede ink. I cut 2 pieces of Paisley Prints DSP in two different patterns. I then wrapped a piece of 3/8 Soft Suede Taffeta Ribbon around the center of the DSP.

Scrapbook Saddle Up Friday; Fall Envelope Mini Scrapbook Album Part 3

In the third part of this I am gonna cover the pull out pages. Here is page 2!! Mini Albums are fantastic to highlight a certain event!!! They make fantastic gifts too!!!

1. Cut 1 piece of Early Espresso card stock 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".

2. Cut 1 piece of Whisper White 3 3/4" x 5" card stock. Take the Wonderfully Worn Background Stamp; ink it in Early Espresso and stamp onto the Whisper White card stock.Take the stamps from Gently Falling Stamp Set; ink them in Old Olive and Tangerine Tango and stamp around  the edges of the Whisper White card stock.

3. Cut 1 piece of Spice Cake Designer Series Paper 1" x 5" glue it to the Whisper White card stock.Wrap a piece of 1/2 Tangerine Tango Scallop Dots Ribbon around the Spice Cake Designer Series Paper.Using the Curly Label Punch; I punched a piece of Old Olive card stock out. I pierced 3 holes into the Curly Label Punch; then glued it to the back of the Whisper White card stock. I then glued the Whisper White card stock to the Early Espresso card stock.

This completes the Fall Envelope Mini Scrapbook! Now you can change this album out to fit any time of the year! Need a last minuet gift for christmas? This would be perfect for grandparents, aunts and uncles!! Thanks for following along! Have a great day!!

Field Flowers Card

Hello all!

This cold has been kicking my butt big time!! All I have done is sleep!! I am finally starting to feel like I will live! lol Next week all the challenges will be back!! I am a little behind in my blogging so I still have a few fall projects to share with you all. I am sure you don't mind because if your like me your in denial about how close christmas is!! lol Today's card is a card I made to play along in a color challenge for my Fall Fest On-line Class.

My base is Very Vanilla card stock; I sponged the edges with Early Espresso ink. I cut a piece of Always Artichoke card stock; ran it through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. I cut a piece of Cajun Craze card stock. I took the Wonderfully Worn Background Stamp; inked in Cajun Craze and stamped onto the Cajun Craze card stock. I used the Mat Pack and Paper-Piercing Tool to pierce holes down the left side of the Cajun Craze card stock. I snailed it to the Always Artichoke card stock then wrapped a piece of 3/8 So Saffron Taffeta Ribbon around the center of the Cajun Craze card stock. I added another little loop of ribbon on top.

I cut a piece of Early Espresso and Very Vanilla card stock. I took the En Francais Background Stamp; inked in So Saffron and stamped onto the Very Vanilla card stock. I sponged the edges with Early Espresso ink. I took the stamp from Field Flowers Stamp Set; inked the leaves and stems in Always Artichoke and the flowers in Cajun Craze. I stamped onto the Very Vanilla card stock. I then used the Mat Pack and Paper-Piercing Tool and  pierced some holes in the bottom right corner of the Very Vanilla card stock.

I took the stamp from Fields of Flowers Stamp Set; inked in Cajun Craze and stamped onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I punched it out using the Curly Label Punch. I sponged the edges with Early Espresso card stock. I snailed it to the back of the Early Espresso card stock and attached to the Always Artichoke card stock. I offset the Very Vanilla card stock on top of the Early Espresso card stock. I took the stamp from Field of Flowers Stamp Set; inked in Cajun Craze and stamped two flowers onto Very Vanilla card stock. I cut them out and popped them up with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I added some Jewels Basic Pearls in the upper left corner of the Very Vanilla card stock. I then placed an Antique Brad onto the card. I placed Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of the Always Artichoke and popped it up with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I took the En Francais Background Stamp; inked in So Saffron and stamped lightly on the bottom and right side.I took the stamp from Field Flowers Stamp Set; inked the leaves and stems in Always Artichoke and the flowers in Cajun Craze. I stamped on the bottom right corner of the inside of the card. I sponged the edges with Early Espresso.

2. Cut 1 piece of Whisper White card stock. Take the Wonderfully Worn Background Stamp; ink it in Early Espresso and stamp onto the Whisper White card stock.Take the stamps from Gently Falling Stamp Set; ink them in Old Olive and Tangerine Tango and stamp around  the edges of the Whisper White card stock.

3. Cut 1 piece of Spice Cake Designer Series Paper 1" x 3 3/4" glue it to the Whisper White card stock.

4. Cut 1 piece of Old Olive card stock 3 1/4" x 3 1/2". Glue it to the Whisper White card stock. Wrap a piece of 1/2 Tangerine Tango Scallop Dots Ribbon around the Whisper White card stock. Leave a little of the Old Olive card stock showing on the bottom. Using the Curly Label Punch; I punched a piece of More Mustard card stock out. I pierced 3 holes into the Curly Label Punch; then glued it to the back of the Whisper White card stock. I then glued the Whisper White card stock to the Early Espresso card stock. I added 3 Neutrals Brads to the layout.

Tip~ add a little paper piecing to the layout to dress it up a little more. This is a very inexpensive thing to do and makes wonderful use of your tools that you have on hand already!

Tip~ I love the 1/2 Scallop Dots Ribbon because it has 2 sides to it to use so your getting 2 ribbons for the price of one!!

My base is Rich Razzleberry card stock. I then ran a piece of Pear Pizzazz card stock through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. I sponged the edges with Pear Pizzazz ink. I cut a piece of Chocolate Chip and Peach Parfait card stock. I punched one side of the Peach Parfait card stock with the Scallop Trim Border Punch. I then inked the Bright Blessings Jumbo Wheel in Peach Parfait and ran it across the Peach Parfait card stock.  I cut a piece of Rich Razzleberry and Very Vanilla card stock. I took the Bright Blessings Jumbo Wheel; inked in Peach Parfait and wheeled it across the Very Vanilla card stock. I took the stamps from Falling Leaves Stamp Set; inked them in the following Pear Pizzazz and Rich Razzleberry. I stamped onto the Very Vanilla card stock. I then wrapped a piece of 1/2 Chocolate Chip Scallop Dots Ribbon around the bottom. I placed Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of the Pear Pizzazz card stock and attached to the Rich Razzleberry card. To finish it off I added a bow from the 1/2 Chocolate Chip Scallop Dots Ribbon and added some Jewels Basic Pearls to the card.

Scrapbook Saddle Up Friday; Fall Envelope Mini Scrapbook Album Part 1

Hello all!!

Welcome to my Scrapbook Saddle up Friday! Every Friday I will be hosting the Scrapbook Saddle Up with y'all!! It will feature a scrapbook layout to a scrapbooking album ideas along with tips, techniques and etc!!Today I am sharing Part 1 of a Mini Scrapbook Album that I created for Stampin' Addicts Scrapbook Challenge. This week is my turn for the challenges!! If you never been check it out, it is geared towards Stampin' Up! if your a demo be sure to sign up for the demo forums and then give a shout out to me catrules!! There is quite a bit to this album so I broke it up into 3 parts.

Directions~

1.
Cut the top off 1 Medium Size Envelope you want it to measure 3 3/4" Wide. Take the Wonderfully Worn Background Stamp; ink it in Early Espresso and stamp onto a Whisper White Envelope. Take the stamps from Gently Falling Stamp Set; ink them in Old Olive and Tangerine Tango and stamp around the edges.


2. Cut 1 piece of Old Olive card stock 1" x 5 1/2". Take the stamp from Gently Falling Stamp Set; ink it in Old Olive and stamp onto the Old Olive card stock. Snail the Old Olive card stock to the envelope.

3. Cut 1 piece of Whisper White card stock 3/4" x 2 3/4". Take the Wonderfully Worn Background Stamp; ink it in Early Espresso and stamp onto the Whisper White card stock. Take the stamp from Always Thankful Stamp Set; ink it in Tangerine Tango and stamp onto the Whisper White card stock. Use the 3/16 Corner Punch to round the top corners. Snail the Whisper White card stock to the Old Olive card stock. Take the Mat Pack and Paper-Piercing Tool to pierce holes around the side of the Whisper White card stock and a row across the Old Olive card stock.

4. Cut 1 piece of Spice Cake Designer Series Paper 1" x 5 3/4". Snail it to the bottom of the envelope.

5. Cut 1 piece of Tangerine Tango card stock 1/2" x 5 1/2". Use the Scallop Trim Border Punch to punch one side out. Snail it to the Spice Cake Designer Paper. Wrap a piece of 1/4 Whisper White Grosgrain Ribbon around the envelope above the Tangerine Tango card stock and tie a know. Add 1 Neutrals Designer Button to the envelope.

Gently Falling Card

My base is Very Vanilla card stock. I took the Wonderfully Worn Background Stamp; inked in More Mustard and stamped onto the Very Vanilla card stock. I took the stamp from Gently Falling Stamp Set; inked in Pool Party and stamped around the edges. I sponged the edge with Soft Suede ink. I cut another piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I took the stamps from Gently Falling Stamp Set; inked them in More Mustard and Pool Party and stamped on the left side. I used the 3/16 Corner Punch and rounded the two corners on the right side. I took the stamp from Curly Cute Stamp Set; inked in Soft Suede and stamped in the bottom right hand corner. I sponged the edges with Soft Suede ink. I wrapped a piece of 3/8 Soft Suede Taffeta Ribbon around the left side. I added some Jewels Basic Rhinestones on the right side then placed Stampin' Dimensionals on the back and attached to the front of the card.

My base is Soft Suede card stock. I cut a piece of Cajun Craze card stock and used the Bone Folder to distress the edges. I cut a piece of Crumb Cake card stock; ran it through the Big Shot with the Perfect Details Texture Plate. I then used the Brayer and the Soft Suede ink pad and applied ink to the embossed card stock. Using the Big Shot and the Scallop Square Die; I die cut out a Scallop Square in Always Artichoke. I took the stamp from Gently Falling Stamp Set; inked in Always Artichoke and stamped all over the Scallop Square. I took the Mat Pack and Paper-Piercing Tool and punched holes into each scallop. I cut a piece of Crumb Cake card stock. I took the Brayer and Soft Suede Ink Pad and lightly brayered over the card stock. I cut a piece of Very Vanilla card stock and ran it through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. I used the Brayer and Soft Suede ink pad to brayer over the embossed Very Vanilla card stock. I used the Bone Folder again to distress the edges and then sponged the edges with Cajun Craze ink.

Using the Big Shot an d the Designer Frames Embossing Folder I embossed a piece of Crumb Cake card stock. I cut out the embossed image. I took the stamp from Grateful Greetings Stamp Set; inked in Soft Suede and stamped onto the embossed frame. I cut a piece of Soft Suede card stock; punched one side out with the Scallop Trim Border Punch. I took the stamp from Gently Falling Stamp Set; inked in Always Artichoke and stamped onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I then inked it in Cajun Craze and stamped onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I cut both leaves out; attached then to the Very Vanilla card stock. I set one Metallic Brad through the embossed designer frame. I then wrapped Natural Hemp Twine around the bottom. I pierced a row of holes below the Very Vanilla card stock. I place Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of the scallop square and attached it to the Cajun Craze card stock. I added a bow of Natural Hemp Twine and a Designer Button Neutrals.
