Scrapbook Saddle Up Friday; Mini Baby Album

Happy Friday!!!

I will be hosting the Scrapbook Saddle Up with y'all!! It will feature a scrapbook layout to a scrapbooking album ideas along with tips, techniques and etc!! Today I am sharing a Mini Baby Album I created to play along with a bonus color challenge for my Spring Time On-line Class. I also used this for Stampin' Addicts Mini Album Scrap Challenge last month!!! Check it out and play along! This uses a stamp set called Aviary along with some of the fun items from the Occasion Mini!! It has 3 pages total and  is really pretty simple overall but cute!!

Directions~

Cover~

1. Cut one piece of Perfect Plum card stock 3" x 4".

2. Cut one piece of Certainly Celery card stock 2 3/4" x 3 3/4". Run it through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.

3. Cut one piece of Blushing Bride card stock 2" x 3 1/4". Take the stamp from Aviary Stamp Set; ink it in Blushing Bride and stamp all over the card stock. Wrap a piece of 1/2 Marina Mist Scallop Dots Ribbon around the center. Use the Big Shot and Framelits Dies Labels Collection to die cut out a piece of Whisper White card stock. Take the stamp from Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set; ink it in Certainly Celery and stamp onto the card stock. I took the stamp from Aviary Stamp Set; inked in Certainly Celery and stamped the owl onto a piece of Whisper White card stock then cut it out. I added a Twitterpated Designer Button with some White Baker's Twine to the label then added some Jewels Basic Pearls.

Page 1~

1. Cut one piece of Perfect Plum card stock 3" x 4".

2. Cut one piece of Certainly Celery card stock 2 3/4" x 3 3/4". Run it through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.

3. Cut one piece of Whisper White card stock 2" x 2 1/2".

4. Cut one piece of 2010-2012 2010-2012 In Color Patterns Designer Series Paper 1" x 3". Wrap a piece of 1/2 Marina Mist Scallop Dots Ribbon around the DSP. I then added some Jewels Basic Pearls and some Subtles Brads.

Page 2~

1. Cut one piece of Perfect Plum card stock 3" x 4".

2. Cut one piece of Certainly Celery card stock 2 3/4" x 3 3/4". Run it through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.

3. Cut one piece of Blushing Bride card stock 2 1/2" x 2 1/2". Take the stamp from the Aviary Stamp Set; ink it in Blushing Bride and stamp all over the Blushing Bride card stock.

4. Cut one piece of Whisper White card stock 2" x 3 1/4". Wrap a piece of 1/2 Marina Mist Scallop Dots Ribbon around the card stock. I then added a Designer Button Subtles with a bow made out of the White Baker's Twine. I took the stamp from Aviary Stamp Set; inked in Marnia Mist and stamped it onto Whisper White card stock. I cut out the image and popped it up with a Stampin' Dimensional.

Then just use the Crop a dile to punch a hole throug all three pages and tie together with White Baker's Twine. How cute is that!!

Monday's 3D Challenge; Two Tag Baby Favor

Happy 4th of July!!!!

Hi all I hope your all having a great 4th!!!! Mine so far has been spent fencing at my parents farm, I know your all soo jealous aren't you? lol Thursday I only got half of the T-posts painted, the reason dad wanted them painted was because they were the ones we set down the drive way. He didn't want rusted looking T-posts, he wanted them to look nice. lol So he hands me the can of paint and well lets just say I couldn't help it I busted out laughing. He picked John Deer Green!!!! Of all the colors to pick; I will admit I am not a fan of John Deer Green. I guess I should be grateful it wasn't Hot Pink. So there is your laugh for the day!!! lol We did get one area completely fenced and cows moved. Friday my dad had a check up with his doctor and he is now gonna be put on oxygen, hopefully this will make him feel a little better and make life a little easier in the breathing department.

Today's share is 3D Challenge I posted over on Stampin' Addicts website! If you never been check it out, it is geared towards Stampin' Up! if your a demo be sure to sign up for the demo forums and then give a shout out to me catrules! The challenge is to make a favor out of the Two Tag Die. I am sorry I didn't realize that I have been stuck on favors!!! lol This general idea is not mine I have found lots of these all over the web and just thought they would be cute for a 3D-Challenge! Directions~

1. Using the Big Shot and the Two Tag Die; die cut two tags out in Lucky Limeade. Take the stamp from Pennant Parade Stamp Set; ink it in Lucky Limeade and stamp randomly over the two tags. Fold the tags on the scored lines and apply snail and wrap together. Place 3 Hershey Nuggets inside. At the top run a piece of 1/2 Chocolate Chip Scallop Dots Ribbon through the holes too tie it closed.

2. Cut 1 piece 1 1/2" x 2 3/4" of So Saffron card stock. Run it through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. Snail to the front of the tag.

3. Cut 1 piece 1/2" x 2 3/4" of Chocolate Chip card stock, snail to the center of the So Saffron card stock.

To finish decorating I took the stamp from Pennant Parade Stamp Set; inked in Pool Party and stamped onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. I then punched it out using the Petite Pennants Builder Punch. I took the stamp from Pennant Parade Stamp Set; inked in Pool Party again and stamped onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. I then just cut out the center of the image. I took the baby stamp from Pennant Parade Stamp Set; inked in Chocolate Chip and stamped in the center of the banner.I placed a Stampin' Dimensional on the back and attached to the punched out piece. I then placed a Stampin' Dimensional on the back of the completed piece and attached in the center of the Chocolate Chip card stock. I then placed Jewels Basic Pearls in the center of the Chocolate Chip card stock.

Since these are already all over the web there are quite a few video tutorials out there so I didn't do a video for this. If you go to Youtube and search Two Tag Video some will come up. These are supper easy and make a great little favor for any event!!!

My base is Baja Breeze. I cut a piece of Basic Gray card stock; ran it through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. I cut a piece of Very Vanilla card stock; punched one side with the Scallop Edge Border Punch. I cut a piece of Pear Pizzazz card stock and a piece of Subtles Patterns DSP. I wrapped a piece of 1/2 Pear Pizzazz Stitched-Poly Ribbon around the center. I snailed it to the front of the Baja Breeze card stock. I cut a piece of Basic Gray and Very Vanilla card stock. I took the stamp from Animal Stories Stamp Set; inked in Baja Breeze and stamped onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I took the stamp from Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set; inked in Pear Pizzazz and stamped onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I punched it out with the Curly Label Punch and snailed it to the Basic Gray card stock. I placed Stampin' Dimensionals on the back and attached to the center of the card. I then added Jewels Basic Pearls to the card and on the Elephant.


I cut a piece of Basic Gray and Very Vanilla card stock. I cut a piece of Subtles Patterns DSP, and snailed it to the bottom of the Very Vanilla card stock leaving a little showing. I then wrapped a piece of 1/2 Pear Pizzazz Stitched-Poly Ribbon just above the DSP.

Card using Animal Stories

My base is Night of Navy card stock. I took the Sanded Background Stamp; inked in Night of Navy and stamped onto the front of the card. I cut a piece of More Mustard card stock, I ran it through the Big Shot with the Perfect Details Texture Plate. I sponged the edges in More Mustard. I cut a piece of Cajun Craze card stock. I took the Sanded Background Stamp; inked in Cajun Craze and stamped onto the card stock. I sponged the edge with Cajun Craze. I cut a piece of Patterns DSP Regals (Night of Navy). I then wrapped a piece of Natural Hemp Twine around the center and tied a bow off to the right.

I cut a piece of More Mustard card stock. I ran it through the Big Shot with the Perfect Details Texture Plate. I sponged the edges in More Mustard. I cut a piece of Night of Navy card stock. I cut a piece of Cajun Craze card stock. I took the Sanded Background Stamp; inked in Cajun Craze ink and stamped onto the card stock. I cut a piece of More Mustard card stock. I took the Giraffe from the Animal Stories Stamp Set; inked in Cajun Craze and stamped onto the More Mustard card stock. I sponged the edges with More Mustard, after I snailed the pieces together I took the Mat Pack and Paper-Piercing Tool and punched 3 holes down the left side.

I took the stamp from Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set; inked the happy birthday in Night of Navy. I stamped onto a piece of Cajun Craze card stock, then punched it out with the Decorative Label Punch. I sponged the edges with Cajun Craze ink and then snailed it to the back of More Mustard card stock. I popped up the hole piece using Stampin' Dimensionals. To finish off the card I added Regal Brads in the upper right hand corner. In the bottom left hand corner I took the Mat Pack and Paper-Piercing Tool and punched 3 holes.

Ok onto Monday's 3D Challenge! I didn't have time to do the video tutorial. This weekend we did Christmas with my family and we also got about 2 1/2' of snow so I was pretty busy! lol I will hopefully get it the video up by Friday at the latest. Directions~

1. Cut 1 piece of Night of Navy card stock 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". I ran it through the Big Shot with the Backgrounds 1 Texturz Plate.

2. Cut 1 piece of More Mustard card stock 2 1/4" x 5 1/4". I ran it through the Big Shot with the Perfect Details Texturz Plate. I then sponged the edges with More Mustard.

3. Cut 1 piece of Cajun Craze card stock 2" x 5". I sponged the edges with Cajun Craze ink.

4. Cut 1 piece of Patterns DSP Regals 1 3/4" x 4 3/4".

5. Cut 1 piece of More Mustard card stock 3" x 4 1/4". I ran it through the Big Shot with the Backgrounds 1 Texturz Plate, I then sponged the edges with More Mustard.

6. Cut 1 piece of Night of Navy card stock 2 3/4" x 4". I sponged the edges with Night of Navy ink. I took the Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set and inked in Night of Navy. I then stamped on a piece of Cajun Craze card stock and punched it out with the Decorative Label Punch. I sponged the edges with Cajun Craze and then snailed it to the back of the Night of Navy card stock.

7. Cut 1 piece of Cajun Craze card stock 3 3/4" x 5 1/4". Then score it at 2 5/8". I took the Sanded Background Stamp; inked in Cajun Craze. I then stamped onto the Cajun Craze card stock. I sponged the edges with Cajun Craze.

8. Cut 1 piece of Patterns DSP Regals 1 3/4" x 2 5/8". I snailed this to the Step 7 then placed Stampin' Dimensionals on the Cajun Craze card stock. I then wrapped Natural Hemp Twine around the piece to tie it closed.

9. Cut 1 piece of More Mustard card stock 2" x 3". I took the giraffe from Animal Stories Stamp Set; inked in Cajun Craze and stamped onto the More Mustard. I then sponged the edges with More Mustard. I took the Mat Pack and Paper-Piercing Tool and punched 3 holes down the left side. I then placed Stampin' Dimensionals on the back to pop this piece up.

10. Cut 1 piece of More Mustard card stock 2 1/2" x 4 1/2". Score one end in 1". This is for the inside for the gift card.  I took the Sanded Background Stamp inked it More Mustard and stamped onto the card stock. I then sponged the edges with More Mustard.
